    Todd and his employees at Ted Electric are the only electrical contractors we would consider using in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area. We have used others over the past 40+ years but once we linked up with Ted Electric we will not go anywhere. A young employee Tyler has been in our house most often, I wouldnt trade his work for anyone else.

    I had some work done that one electrician started, a second electrician had come to give me an estimate but never showed. Ted took a look and had Chris, who was very easy to work with and Jake do the job. Chris had useful suggestions also. They did great. I will definitely use them again and recommend them. Thanks

    Ted Electric has done great work twice at our home, both for our indoor pool and for the installation of four individual electric car chargers. They responded to our deadlines both times, and they always insured the highest quality of work.

    We bought a hot tub and needed a spa box installed and the tub hooked up. We called on a Thursday and had an appointment right away for Friday morning. The guys were very professional and courteous and the box looks great. Our tub is up and running and we couldnt be happier. You wont regret giving these guys a call.

    Using Teds was great. Todd was the one who helped us out. We had a bad breaker, and a couple of our appliances werent functional. I called Todd and he came the same day, several hours later, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He even went above and beyond: instead of ordering the part we needed, he actually went to a nearby Menards and found the part and brought it back to our house to install it. It was an incredibly painless process on our end, which Im hugely appreciative of.

    We had Teds Electric come out as we purchased a new microwave and it needed to be rewired. Chris happened to be the one who came out and he reminded us that he had done some work for us before and then we remembered how happy we were with him then. But not only did he do excellent work of changing an outlet for us he volunteered to help my husband lift and put the microwave in place which we were so appreciative as it would have been a huge undertaking for us to lift it and get it in place as it was very heavy.     On time, polite and professional. Did a better job adding an outlet than I expected. We wanted an outlet near our Wifi router (the cable is no where near an outlet). The electricians put an outlet in right where we wanted it and you would never be able to tell that it wasnt the original construction.

    There arent any better electricians in the area!!! My house required a service upgrade because the old was ancient and outdated; I am thrilled with their work!!! It was completed within a day and looks great! And after everything they did they cleaned up like they had never been there!

    I met Todd several years back when I asked him to quote an underground electrical line to a new building. Todd was very thorough as he looked at my existing electrical usage and what I wanted to do. As we were working thru the quote and details (which by the way was a different solution that any other quote i had received) i had a contractor pull my electrical line down. I called Todd and he had a generator out there that evening. He worked with alliant energy to run a 400 amp service to the house instead of the standard 200 amp service (which was what I was needing to accomplish the electrical runs that I was asking for). Did a great job running the electrical line...........Fast forward to last week. I needed some electrical support. I messaged Todd after hours on a friday about the situation I was dealing with. He asked me to call him. We talked about it and he wanted pictures of the situation. Throughout the weekend we were in contact with each other about solutions to my problem. By the weekend we had a simple cost effective solution and Todd got the supplies I needed to do the job.Thanks Todd for the parts and working with me on a solution. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

    Weve used Ted Electric several times now in two different houses and will continue to use them. They just added new canned lighting to our living room and also to a outside roof soffit, as well as helped us get our landscape lights working correctly. Todd and his crew are knowledgeable and and easy to be around. They get the job done well and they clean up well after theyre done working. Todd and Justin discuss the issue(s) with us and help come up with a plan and timeline for the work needing to be done. Lastly, they are professional and kind to my whole family, which is a huge deal. Id recommend them.

    Todd went above and beyond the call of duty. He did a same day repair on Christmas Eve while recuperating from a surgery he had one day prier! needless to say theres no other Electrician wed call.
