Jolt is the best! This is the 2nd time we have used them for work at our home. We first used them in June 2023 and knew they were the ones to call for the latest work. Jerry, the owner, promptly came out and reviewed the project which consisted on installing a surge protector on the main panel, replace an exterior light fixture, and adding an exterior receptacle outlet. Jerry sent over the estimate promptly, and Heather and Jennifer were very helpful in answering our questions and scheduling the project. Much to our surprise, they were able to schedule us for the July 4th holiday. James and Jose arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and did a great job with the work! Very professional and clean work! We were happy to see James, who did our job in June 2023, as he is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional!

Let me start by pointing out that we live in Fallon and Jolt Electric is in Carson City. About two weeks ago the power went out in our house, but we just assumed it was weather related due to all the recent storms. NV Energy was contacted and they came out and restored power.The next day, our A/C unit would not turn on, but the air handler did, so my wife went out to our main electrical service panel to check the circuit breaker for the A/C. She noticed all of the plastic labels at the top of the panel were melted and just black streaks where the labels were, so luckily she didn’t touch the circuit breaker and waited to show me when I got home from work.I then noticed the area behind the dead front panel, next to the A/C circuit breakers, was black. It was obvious that there has been arcing and the A/C circuit breakers were stuck open. After using a non-contact voltage tester on the switches of that breaker, they were energized, so thank goodness my wife did not attempt to reset that breaker.She began calling down the list of electricians in Fallon, Fernley, and Reno to find someone to look at the panel. She either never got a call back after leaving messages, were told they don’t service Fallon, or responded that it would be about three months before they could get to us. We were worried our house was going to burn down, but couldn’t find an electrician that seemed to care.My wife called Jolt Electric and spoke to Heather. From the first call, the experience was amazing. It only took about a week for them to get everything they needed, obtain permits, schedule the disconnect / reconnect, and be at our door ready to work. I’m writing this review just minutes after the electricians, Jack and Barnabus, left our house, having spent all day replacing the panel and testing. Everything looks great and very professional work. Thank you all for making this a seamless experience. If you need an electrician, call Jolt and don’t waste your time with calling anyone else.

I had a bad main breaker that was caused by the company that installed solar on our house. Essentially they did sloppy work and did not bolt down the bars from the meter correctly nor tighten down the lugs all the way (power in). I couldnt run power for more than 30 minutes without tripping the breaker. I called Jolt after I couldnt find any electrical contractors with same-day availability.Not only did the owner himself come out to do the repair, he even called around to find a very specific breaker that I needed and found the only one in Reno, to which I picked up and didnt get charged markup. He showed up in 20 minutes after I got home and found the problem immediately, and also called a lineman from NV Energy to remove the meter so the panel was safe to work. When I called NV Energy for a temporary disconnect, they wanted to charge me $400.The rate also was extremely fair, and only charged me one hour of emergency labor and troubleshooting. Any other contractor would have made this job cost over $1,000, and essentially it cost me only $350 to get power back to my house correctly.Thank you very much Jolt - there are a lot of dishonest contractors in Nevada and Jolt is not one of them, their pricing is fair, good customer service, and gets right to the problem and doesnt try to over-sell you on stuff you dont need or take advantage. Jolt Electric is great! It was very easy to schedule and communicate with Heather in the office. Mike and James did a fantastic job replacing all outlets and switches in our home. We had Jolt Electric come out to put our whole house fan on a seperate circuit from our hall lights. Jack and Barnabas gave us excellent service. Both gentlemen were on time, polite and gave great customer service. We will be calling them again if we are in need of another project getting done.

Set up a visit for Jolt to quote a job on Monday to hopefully get some work done in the next two weeks. Jerry (the owner) arrived, checked a couple things with a multimeter, grabbed some gloves and a flathead then ended up just getting the job done then and there in about 15 minutes. Couldnt be happier with the response time and saving us all of the downtime. We will be calling Jolt for more work down the road.

Every interaction I had, whether it was over the phone or through email, was pleasant, efficient, and professional. Jolt Electric was the company used by my general contractor during the remodel of my house. I was so impressed with their work ethic and professionalism. Getting on their schedule took time (they were busy last summer) but the level of workmanship made it worth the wait. Never once did they complain when I asked them to do things (working in a hot attic in the summer can be brutal) and they always cleaned up thoroughly after their work. I appreciated their knowledge and thoroughness and I can rest easy knowing my electrical work in my house was done correctly. Such peace of mind is golden!I liked them so much I have hired them again to hook up my outdoor pond to electrical. I trust them to do it right the first time!

Great experience with Jolt today. Needed to get some outlets fixed quickly in my inlaw unit rental and they were very accommodating of my schedule. They communicated exactly when they would arrive and Jack and his young apprentice quickly did what was needed to fix the wiring. I even had them look at a few other issues because they had time and I was happy with the work so far. Will certainly call Jolt again next time I need an electrician!

I hired Jolt to do the electrical for my parents home remodel. They did a fantastic job, especially during one of the worst winter storms we have had in a while. They did a lot of re-wiring, adding can lights, closet lights, art lighting, upgrading outlets, switches and a home surge protector. I am really happy with Jolts work and recommend them. Great lighting makes all the difference in a home.

I called two local electricians including Jolt Electric. The first one only had voice mail. Then I called Jolt Electric. Jerry answered the phone! Within one week of that first phone call, Jerry came out to give us an estimate (he was on time if not a few minutes early) and the work was completed. They did a beautiful job. On time. Professional. We are so pleased and have more work to do. We will definitely only use Jolt Electric! By the way, an interesting side note, it has been now been 11 days since I left a voice message for the Other Company and they still have not called me back!! It is so hard to find people willing to work, who are on time, pleasant to have working in your home and at an affordable price, that we are so appreciative to Jerry for being all of that and more. Jerry Estrada an employee of Jolt Electric Installed a smart electric fan in our attic this morning. He was fabulous!!!! He arrived on time and immediately went to the task ahead. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Climbing in and out of an attic space through a hall closet is not easy.The fan is working perfectly due to Jerrys expertise. What a great employee!!

I really like these guys! Really impressed with thier quality work, attention to detail, and affordability, not to mention easy going and yet professional demeanors. Jerry, Jack, Jenny..(hope I have names right) all have been great to work with. So far, did a full panel upgrade and also wired in and hung a chandelier. We have more work for them too and just today got a call back from an email to them in no time. Very impressive, since I know theyre multitasking with a massive volume of work these days. Be patient on the scheduling since theyre juggling a lot, but they come through on all levels. Excellent business and will continue to leverage them for all things electrical. Just had Jolt Electric do the wiring for my new Hot Tub. They did a fantastic job. They were there on time, and were very efficient. They installed a new circuit breaker on my main panel, a shut off box, ran conduit below ground to the front of the spa and wired up the sap. Finished product looks very neat and tidy.Previously they ran electrical to a new water feature (plus a digital timer for the water feature) and installed a whole home surge protector. Price was very reasonable..

We had new commercial lights installed, they installed a separate circuit to our chop saw area outside, ran power to our new sheds, ran power to a new hot tub at our residence as well. Recommend Jolt Electric highly! We purchased our home with many questions and concerns. Our GE panel had different manufacturers circuit breakers, GFIs were failing, unknown landscaping wire on the property. Contacted Jolt for assistance. They replaced worn switches/GFIs; installed new GE equipment; and trouble shot the unknowns. We also had then install new RV 30 amp service connection. We now feel safer in our home. Many thanks to Jerry, Darren and Jack.
