Tyler and Andrew came out on a service call because furnace was not turning on. Tyler found the initial issue and the heat came on. He then checked further and found a failed switch. Had Tyler not gone the extra mile of checking the AC, we would have had a similar problem in warm weather. Great job! I really appreciate your thoroughness!

Discovered water coming through to our mudroom bathroom and garage. Called Tuckey’s immediate service line and someone called me back within minutes to dispatch a technician (Dave) to fix. Dave was kind and respectful and very quick to assess and remedy the situation. Thankful to have someone available on a Saturday morning so early. From first contact to end of service it was roughly 3 hours. We are very pleased with our service and would recommend and use Tuckey in the future!

Tyler was everything we wanted after purchasing a home where the inspector was negligent and inadequate. Tyler found and corrected many deficiencies; some were code violations. Tyler was outstanding. We had the Tuckey Company replace our HVAC system and the process was very simple . From start to finish the process went well . All staff involved were professional, responsive and very helpful. Todd from sales checked in with us several times during the process. Evan and Eric the installers were excellent answered questions we had and were hard workers. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to complete this major home upgrade. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project .

Tuckey Mechanical went above and beyondEvery so often you purchase or have a product installed that doesn’t quite meet your expectations. Such was the case with an a/c unit we had installed last October. This spring when we started using it in earnest, we noticed a pulsating rather than a steady hum. The unit was also short cycling. Dave, from Tuckey came out and spent three hours attempting to diagnose the problem. The short cycling was a sensor improperly installed when the house was built. He wasn’t able to do anything about the pulsating. Jake, the salesman who sold us the unit came out and heard what we were talking about. He recorded the noise and within a week we had a completely new unit installed including the “a” coil. We were even upgraded to a Carrier as our other unit was not available. They followed up twice, both times in person and once by text to make sure we were satisfied. Their service is outstanding. They are locally owned and are in Carlisle. They have been in business since 1968. They have earned my business for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs.

David repaired an outside spigot and installed my new dishwasher. He was very professional, respectful and courteous. For me -- most importantly he has common sense! For example, the spigot he repaired sits close to my deck and it was difficult to connect a garden hose. David had the common sense to angle the new spigot so that the hose could be easily connected. Thats just one example of his forward thinking. Great job David!

I had the awesome Dave W. from Tuckey Mechanical Services, Inc. come out and service my A/C unit. It stopped working the day before a weekend of heat surge. It was freezing up and I needed it fixed promptly. He came out after the weekend, and managed to fix it up in a matter of an hour with minimal funds charged. He was very helpful and explained every step of his process to me. He also was very patient with my multitude of questions.If this review was for Dave alone, it would be a five star. However, the company was going to charge me overtime for expedited services even though I called within a timely manner for a technician to come out. Four stars is still pretty good!

Jim H. and Eric H. were very thorough in their work replacing our furnace in the basement. Jim was helpful in explaining their progress of dismantling the old furnace and installing the new one. He was also extremely considerate of my toddlers safety, as the door to the basement needed to be used frequently. Eric took time to show me how to operate the new thermostat and how to replace the filter. He also explained the other important features of the new furnace. They left our basement cleaner than they found it! They were excellent representatives for Tuckey. I would highly recommend this company.

Jim started the attic work and Tyler outside work. They respected our house and did the work without any interruptions of our daily life. They thanked me for having a standup attic. We have a kitty and we asked that they would make sure to not leave any door open for he was an indoor cat. Jim and Tyler was pleasant, willing to share how and why things worked.We would be very pleased to have them back to do another project for us. I recently had two emergency situations. We were due to depart the country for three weeks when our heat pump developed a problem. Dave came out, after hours, diagnosed the problem and did a temporary fix pending ordering a part. The Sunday afternoon before our Monday flight, a deep clog developed in our kitchen sink. Again, Dave came out on Sunday afternoon and spent several hours working on the clog. Long story short, the clog was cleared and Dave again saved the day. We were able to enjoy our three week trip without worrying about the recent problems. Dave is very polite, conscientious, and very professional. Dave knows what he is doing and never leaves a job undone. We are very pleased with Daves work and would not hesitate to have him back should the need arise.

He was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. It was about a 5 hour job and maintained a great attitude through the morning. Workmanship was excellent also. One thermostat had to be moved and it was a non issue and solved promply. He also pointed out an unrelated potential problem with the motor of the geo unit and will allow me to proactively solve this problem before we have a shut down, and of course it will happen on the coldest or hottest day of the year, lol.Id like to have him do all my services?

Today was (at least) Dave’s second serivce call for us, as Tuckey is our go-to provider when there’s a home issue. He listened to my story, diagnosed the problem, and was able to restore the shower to proper function in short order with a part he had on hand. He was focused and efficient, quick to teach, and uber-pleasant throughout. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Over the last 35 years I have used many different HVAC service providers. This time I was in need of replacing our Air Conditioner. Ours had a small leak and with the R12 change next year it made sense to make the switch this year. With a large purchase as this, I took it out to bid with 3 different reputable HVAC companies. Tuckey, from the start, provided not only the best bid, by far, but the most reasonable solution for my situation. The other bidders just tried to up-sell and jack up the price. Tuckeys honest and pragmatic approach made the other bidders appear greedy. After the bidding process, Tuckey was not pushy. Once we announced our decision to go them them, they scheduled us sooner that expected and had the new unit installed within a couple days. I was very impressed with Eric, the installer. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I was amazed at how much he accomplished in a short period of time. Quite frankly he is a master mechanic, and I do not use that term lightly. The unit they installed, Byant, was of excellent quality and design. Tuckey has surpassed all previous providers I have used over the last 35 years. I would recommend them highly.

The group of Techs who worked at our home were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. As often happens the job doubled in size and scope shortly after it began. The Tuckey Techs took it in stride. They were efficient and effective throughout.The Removal team got their part of the job done and moved on so quickly that I didnt get to know them as well as Matt V., who was in charge of the Installation team. Matt was both an excellent technician and team leader. Not only was Matt knowledgeable, he could ,also, communicate what he (they) were doing and he could explain why they were doing it. He explained things in terms that I, a know nothing, could understand. Matt, also, answered questions and provided advise that was understandable and technically correct. All this while being friendly and cooperative.I must admit I didnt meet a Tuckey Team member who wasnt friendly, cooperative, and a diligent worker.

Our power went on and off several times the evening of March 19. Several circuit breakers were tripped. I could not reset the breaker for the outside heat pump unit. I called the emergency service for Tuckey and the gentlemen whose name I unfortunately dont know helped me make sure my emergency heat was turned on until a service man could arrive the next day. Between David the serviceman and Tammy G. they solved the problem, ordered a new outside unit, took care of warranty issues, installed the new unit by Thursday that week. They were great and we appreciated their concerns for getting us back and running. We were very pleased. Thank you.
