I have hired Thomas Electrical Solutions twice, once when the electrician was Dewayne and once when it was Mike. Both of them were competent, professional and friendly. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. The price was reasonable. My jobs to date have been small but I would feel very confident in using them for larger jobs.

I lost power to select outlets in one of my rooms. I normally try to fix things myslelf. I couldnt figure this issue out. So, I called Thomas Electrical and a technician (Dwayne Thomas) came out within 40 minutes. He surveyed my house and was able to determine what caused the outage within a few minutes. I would never have been able to do so. Dwayne was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I will use them again if needed. I strongly recommend their electrical services to others, as well.

The Thomas Electrical technician was on time, very courteous, and thorough. He took the time to inspect the panel and explain to me that the panel was perfectly fine. He could have easily charged me $3,000+ to replace a panel that didnt need it, but this is a company with integrity. I will use Thomas Electrical for ALL my electrical projects in the future. Dewayne was recommended to me by a coworker who had only used his services once but were very pleased with his work, his professionalism and his pricing. A couple of months ago I had an electrical issue and called one of the big electrical companies and they came out. Prior to fixing my issue, I was presented with some type of package to choose from to fix my problem. Being in need, I choose a package. Two months later, the same issue presented itself, so I called this big electrical company back saying the same issue happened and asked if they came back out, would I be charged a service fee. They said it depended. It was at this time, I decided I was going to pay someone else the service fee and hopefully get it fixed correctly. I contacted Dewayne and he was very polite and worked with my schedule, arrived on time, I explained the issue and that I had just had it fixed a couple months earlier. He found the problem, (the other company had not fixed it correctly and damaged some things in the process that I was not aware of). He fixed the issue, replaced another outlet that needed replacing and when I went to pay, his price was a lot cheaper than the company that previously had fixed it. I only had to pay for what work he did and what he replaced. When I went to pay him, he told me he was giving me a discount since I had already had someone else out there and they did not fix it correctly. He said it was not fair to me. It is hard to find an honest, reliable, dependable and reasonably priced repair person of any type these days, but I believe I have found one in Dewayne. I will recommend him to anyone who has any electrical need.Patty Prester

I have had Thomas Electrical Solutions work to complete several electrical jobs for us: installing fixtures , additional outlets, a new breaker panel, new GFI outlets, a new service mast and main breaker, and other things.The Thomas Family was our neighbors for many years, and it was our pleasure to watch the family grow and the business develop. TES is our electricians of choice, not because I get a cut rate having been his neighbor. I will only do business with TES if they treat us as if were any other customer and charge us the business rate. With that understanding, I feel that I can rightly complain if I feel that something was not done right or was shoddily done. I have never had cause to complain.The foundation on which the Thomas business rests is integrity. Calls are always returned quickly, appointments kept, and the customer is regularly informed of progress. The charges are always fair. You might be able to find someone to do your electrical work cheaper, but I doubt that you can get anyone to do it better. Dewayne Thomas came to the house on 11-11-13 and I had some bad GFI outlets replaced. He showed up 10 min early and was professional and knowledgable, he checked some other outlets and fixed a connector in the fuse box at no charge.I would and will recommend him to any one who needs any type of electrical work done.

Dewayne and Mike with Thomas Electrical Solutions exceeded my expectations for rewiring a portion of my house that my grandfather built in the mid-1950s. They put together a detailed estimate for the labor, as well as the materials, and completed the work below the estimated cost and in the timeframe they anticipated. They showed up on time (even early!) and worked 2 full days without wasting any time. Each worked independently to complete the tasks in a timely manner and assisted one another when an extra hand was needed. They were innovative in finding ways to work around the unique obstacles of my home’s walls without diminishing the look of the Wormy Chestnut paneling throughout one of the rooms. Fortunately for me, I did not settle for the first, second, or even third estimate I had gotten from other electricians in the Ellijay area. It was worth the time to find the right company to do the work. I now have an electrician I will call upon whenever needed, and I know exactly who I’ll recommend when others want to know who they can call for electrical work.

We contacted several people about hanging a ceiling fan and installing an exterior outlet. Thomas electrical was the first company that answered the phone when we called, they arranged for a worker to come by the next day. The guy called prior to inform us he was about 15 mins away, showed up and gave us advice on the exterior wall outlet. We ended up not getting the outlet installed due to the fact we did not want to risk possible interior sheet rock damage. We did get a ceiling fan installed, he installed the fan in a quick fast manor. The whole process took about 30 mins, and the installer was extremely nice and polite. We will definitely be using the company again and referring them to other people.
