Technician Bryan performed the annual maintenance on our generator including installation of a new buttery and updated the electronic components as well. He explained everything he would be doing. Performed a shut down test and reviewed all the tasks that he performed. Great company to deal with.

Having had ongoing issues with a generator that was recently installed by another company who have been completely unhelpful and unresponsive, Dave Walsh and his team have stepped up and have been without exception both professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend FM Generator to anyone. A technician (Derek) came to our house this morning to fix our generator. He was prompt, friendly, courteous, professional and fixed the issue. We previously worked with another company and our experience was absolutely TERRIBLE. It was refreshing to work with a company that obviously prides themselves in excellent communication and professionalism. We communicated with Donna a number of times and she was responsive, clear in her communication and friendly. You cant go wrong with FM Generator! We are so glad that we hired them and we will be moving forward with a yearly maintenance plan with them.

We have had the opportunity to use FMs maintenance service for our Generac 14kW standby backup generator system for the past two years. The system was installed 10 years ago by another company, but unfortunately, they were forced to close their business. Since that time, we have had absolutely ideal service from FM, in terms of the easiest booking of appointments by very pleasant receptionists. Their technicians always arrive on time, are very courteous, and most importantly, expert in what they do. I work together with the technicians, as we always perform a simulation of a power failure during each visit, to ensure the systems transfer switch operates perfectly. We are always fully informed of the results of the service, and have a plan in place for replacement of parts, if needed, in the future, given the age of the generator. All in all, we could not be more satisfied with working with this very fine group of people.As an update, we just had our annual service, and despite the inclement weather, the technician took the extra time and effort to remedy an issue of “hard starting,” by adjustment of the valves and spark plug gaps. Thanks to this dedication and expertise, all should be in readiness for the upcoming winter, which if the meteorologists are correct, promises to be more challenging than recent past seasons.

They setup appointments quickly and show up when they say they are going to and are professional to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone needing a generator or that may need their generator serviced. Its good to know you can rely on someone for something that sometimes may need emergency service.

My house experiences higher than normal power outages. I had a 20kw Briggs standby generator installed by FM Generator. Everything was great with the install. It is such a great feeling when the power goes out and within 15-20 seconds my whole house is up and running again. The only issue Ive had was two blown fuses in the transfer switch (likely lighting hit, to blow them both at once). Under maintenance, FM was out that day and replaced them. The tech that came out took extra time to re-review some of the aspects of the transfer switch and generator with me. Great customer service!

I bought my Generac generator about 3-4 years ago and the service from FM has been fantastic. I call for service and the technician shows up on time. the technician is very knowledgeable and a true professional.Last year my generator stopped working. one of the boards had crashed.the tech cam to my house and figured out a very difficult problem with the board. The board was under a service contract, which he informed me and a $1250 repair cost me nothing.I actually dealt with FM at the Jordan Hospital many years ago and the service and knowledge of their equipment and the timeliness of their service and the professionalism shown has not changed in 20 years.it is truly reassuring to know that I can rely on FM when I need them.Jim Popkin

They were easy to work with. They explained everything and then took care of installing the back up generator. I had to make a couple of phone calls to give permission for work to get started, they then communicated with the other contractors involved in the work. One of the best home upgrades I have done, I no longer worry about losing power.

She entered the management of our generator installation during the height of COVID times. She did a better than fabulous job as Project Manager, tying together several different internal and external services to complete this difficult installation during this difficult time. She made sure that we were informed every step of the way, kept everyone on schedule and task, and definitely over delivered on each of her promises with the help of her management team.During this difficult time when just procuring a generator was an issue because of floods and fires elsewhere, FM Generator stepped up as a team. Pricing was fair and as described. FM Generator 100% stood behind their work, product, product and promises. We definitely made the right choice going with FM, and we couldnt be happier.

FM Generator installed a stand-by generator for my home which is on the east coast, about 7 years ago. The installation, which included a new electrical panel and routing of the gas lines, was performed professionally and competently. The price was less than I expected. They have always been very responsive to any problems which have arisen since, as the generator takes a lot of damage due to the salt air.

Basic Major service. Came not only on time! But actual earlier than stated. Boys were in and out with no problems, tuned up the unit and got it ready for a Massachusetts winter.Also came back two weeks later after unit running a little rough, fixed the problem in 5 minutes, and runs great now.
