I was in need of a ceiling fan install as well as replacement of my recessed kitchen lights. Tyler and Isaac arrived on time, were very thorough with their assessment and gave me several options re proceeding. They did an excellent job with the install, answered any questions I had along the way and I really appreciated the upfront pricing. I will be using them again and highly recommend them for your electrical needs with no reservations.Addendum: so I needed new light fixtures installed and it was John and Isaac to the rescue. I have had 5 to 8 electricians work on my home over the last 25 years from complete basement remodel to outdoor grill area and shop. I called Compass Electric because of the reviews and I had at least 3 electricians trouble shoot a number of nagging issues with circuits tripping with no luck. John on the other hand was fantastic and not only fixed the issues but explained clearly what was the problem and found a number of items not up to code. I highly recommend this company! They are the best of the best! Trust me as I never post reviews, but this is important for others safety. This is because there are a lot of electricians who are not that good that your contractors use. I found out the hard way.

I contacted John based on a recommendation.My last electrician did not work out very well, and I needed someone that was reliable and had a verifiable skill set as an electrician.John’s pricing is extremely fair, he kept to his estimate, and creatively solved an installation issue with my kitchen lights due to a manufacturing default. No one would ever know that we were minus an original part! His creative genius solved the problem safely and securely.He will be returning in 2 weeks to install more lights and complete another job for me.I would definitely recommend him to anyone requiring a large or small job. We had a great experience working with Compass Electric. We hired them to handle the electrical work needed when we completed two unfinished spaces in our basement. This involved installing new lights, a fan, numerous outlets and switches, and even a new ethernet port. John was extremely professional, great at communicating, respectful, and an efficient partner. We are very pleased with the timeliness and the work that the team completed. They flexed with us in a few spots when the project needed to change a bit and were very pleasant about accommodating our needs. We will look to use Compass Electric for future electrical needs.

I highly recommend John! He’s been out several times in the past few years and he’s always quick to respond and timely, and he does an amazing job at a great price! He communicates well what needs to be done before doing the work, then does what’s agreed to—there’s no surprises with him. I’ve had large companies try to upsell me or do work I didn’t agree to and suddenly you have a high bill that’s confusing. This is never the case with John. He’s very clear and he always wants what’s best for the customer. I would never use anyone else since finding him! Really can’t recommend enough. Compass Electric did a great job for us recently installing an EV charger (Tesla brand), as well as doing some other minor upgrades while there were here. They were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure everything was done correctly and to my satisfaction. I really appreciated that they were willing to give me rough (nonbinding) cost estimates by email, whereas other companies wanted to waste a half day of my time to even talk to me about baseline costs (which varied a lot from place to place). I would absolutely recommend Compass Electric!

10/10! I recently moved and was in desperate need of converting a number of switches to dimmers throughout my home. I was fortunate enough to have Tiler assist. Scheduling was quick and easy. She was proactive and asked in advance for images of the light fixtures that would be tied to the dimmers so she could purchase the appropriate lightbulbs prior my appointment. She was incredibly professional, clean and respected my home. I was even more grateful that she was the one to do the work, as she took one look at the electric panel that was installed in the apartment (from years ago) and advised me that this panel was discontinued and models were recalled (in 1988!!) since they were prone to overheating and potentially dangerous. I would recommend Tiler every time and will be going to her for all my electrical needs! Pricing was affordable, but more important was the high quality of work. Thanks Tiler!

Hired Compass Electric to do multiple large projects for my house in East Cobb over the holidays. Owner John quoted the jobs and was able to get the jobs scheduled quickly. His assistant Tiler was great to work with as well. I wish I had found them years ago as we used a name brand company the last two times and feel like we were grossly overcharged. Compass Electric had pleasantly reasonable quotes and completed all the tasks in a quick, efficient and professional manner.Work that was done: Needed a new Range Plug installed behind the range as one did not exist for any new appliances (previous work just had range power wires connect directly to range without a plug). We had a few different companies gives us quotes on some harder than average light fixture installations in our new-to-us home. The electrician from Compass was by far the most professional and thorough in his approach. He gave us multiple price options. Super fair pricing compared to the other quotes we received. He completed the installations that day, was SO neat and cleaned everything up- couldn’t even tell he was here! He also did a check of the entire house and things it could use safety-wise. He gave us quotes for things he’d recommend, but wasn’t pushy on getting anything extra done. On top of the great work, he was kind, genuine and trustworthy.

The cost Options are so much better tha any other prices I was stated from other companies. The cost options include the diagnosis fee, all materials, all services named in an option plus no hiddenfees. The options include taxes. One price fits all, no additional costs.John wasnt pushy to sell the highest option to me either. Although all options a good choice, John is a client representative as well. He understands and wants to work with and accommodate a clients budget.John diagnosed my electrical issues checking all possibilities first in finding the correct problem to handle the fix. He checked both electrical panels making sure all other electrical was safe and left in safe operating order functioning properly.His focus on performing his sevice safety mantinence task was very precise and efficient & as important as his job to fix all issues. After completing his repairs, he checked carefully for safe proper operations.I am very pleased I choose Compass Electric.
