Sam is the owner of Hometown Electric and you can tell that he is the ultimate professional and has pride in his work.We talked extensively on the phone before the appointment was set and he asked many questions so that he would have a full understanding of what was needed for the Job.Our request was to have Six flush mount lights installed in the kitchen and a ceiling fan in the family room where there had not been a fixture before.The appointment was set, and Sam arrived exactly when he said he would. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and even swept up any mess made from cutting holes in the drywall.I’m extremely pleased with the work done and his prices were reasonable. I will definitely call him again for any electrical work that I need done in the future.

He was accurate in his estimate, great communicator, on time, put forth quality work, developed great solutions to some challenges we encountered, ran everything by me, delivered solutions that met my needs and had minimal affect to the surrounding areas. The job came in under budget and took the amount of time I expected it to. There is no doubt I would hire him again for residential electrical work. At our initial meeting, Sam explained in detail what the work would involve and when it would be scheduled. He answered our questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, so we knew what to expect. A few days before the work was to begin, Sam texted us with updates and to see if we had any additional questions. Thats the way to run a business!The installation of the electrical panel, wiring, and outdoor outlet, for our new generator, went very smoothly! Sam arrived on time; did the work carefully and correctly, (as a Master Electrician would); and he did a great job of cleaning up his work area when he finished. When he was done, he took the time to show and explain the finished work, answering any questions.We highly recommend Hometown Electric! He did a great job!

Sam acted as a subcontractor on a significant kitchen remodel that involved removing one wall and moving another. He added a number of new circuits, outlets, and light fixtures in addition to moving other circuits to accommodate the plans. He participated in all phases of the project and was a pleasure to work with. He is friendly, professional and respectful of your home.At the start he made recommendations and we talked about the pros and cons of different options. Throughout the project he frequently checked in with us to make sure we were happy.My family and I are very happy to have our kitchen back, but we miss seeing Sam. He is a great guy who does great work. I would be happy to use him again and to recommend him to others.

Sam was great to communicate with from the start and was timely and responsive to all requests. Once on the site he was easy to work with and willingly explained what he was doing, how he was making sure everything was to code, and was looking the way how I envisioned. Very knowledgeable and was happy to help as he checked on many different issues all throughout the house. Not sure when I will be needing any more electrician help but I know that when I do I will be giving Hometown Electric a call.

We were having some safety issues with several older electrical outlets in our kitchen. Despite his busy schedule, Sam still came out that day and updated those outlets and the corresponding circuit breakers. He also installed a replacement fan over our tub in the bathroom. Simon was referred to me from a trusted source. Simon was very responsive on text message always getting back to me within the day. Simon was on time, had everything he needed and installed the car charger socket. Before, during and after the installation Simon talked me through what he was planning to do and the quality of items used. I appreciate this as it’s an investment and also leaves no doubt in work. I personally like that he got a permit for a new socket as it’s done right and inspected. I will always use Simon when I can and will refer to anyone with out hesitation.

Sam was a pleasure to have in our home. He changed 4 outlets (indoor and outdoor) and installed a manual transfer switch for our gas powered generator. He was very thorough in his explanation of the work ahead of time and while doing it. He cleaned up after himself and managed to work around two dogs that were very interested in him.
