    We’ve done several house remodeling projects, and Petra is by far the best. They did a major kitchen remodel for us, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Their workmanship far exceeded our expectations, the crews were very professional and respectful especially of our privacy and the fact that we were living in the house during the remodel, and best of all, they kept on schedule! They said they’d do the project in 10 weeks, and they did that. How many contractors can claim that? I’d recommend Petra to anyone.

    The quality of an organization is often determined during adversity. Petra Custom Builders proved themselves to be a high quality organization during our custom home build in the middle of a pandemic. We faced many points of adversity but Celeste and Brian G stepped up, handled any issues that presented themselves and made our family feel like we were part of the Petra family. We are truly grateful that we selected Petra as our design build company.Our completed home is Paradise. We’ve lived here for 8 months and we are consistently impressed with the quality of the work in our home and our guests are always impressed with the design and finishes. We are happy Petra customers.

    Top notch experience. Jimmy, Aaron, Josh, Erin and the entire team are a joy to work with. They renovated our large basement into a beautiful entertaining space. Communication, timing, expectations and quality were all done professionally and with clarity. Definitely recommend hiring this team for your next project. We certainly will.

    I hired Petra to build be a real kitchen in the 50yr old house I bought in Boulder.All I can say is WOW. Amazing job and done on schedule.Plan to hire them again, when I pop-the-top for a 2nd floor.

    We contacted PCB about a home remodel. They responded promptly, professionally and thoroughly. Scott and Mark kept us updated with preliminary pricing and options. We ultimately decided not to follow through on the remodel for several reasons, none of which were due to PCB. I let Scott know we would definitely get back with PCB when our timing is better.

    Petra did an amazing job with my remodel. Jimmy and his team were great to work with. From the start they took the time to really understand my vision and hope for the space. They worked alongside me to create a space that I love! The on site team helped to ensure the project continued to progress and always took the time to educate us when changes were needed so we could make the best decision. The time and care Petra put into my project is unmatched. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else, the quality of work they provide and attention to detail was greatly appreciated.

    Working with Petra is an easy decision. Their craftsmanship, their attention to detail, the communication and ability to take ideas and make them better is incredible.     We did a whole house remodel with a newly reconfigured kitchen and master bath addition. The architectural and design changes were challenging but the final result was fabulous. The project manager, staff and trades were all very professional and detail oriented. The fit and finish was exceptional, especially all the custom cabinet work for the kitchen and master bath.We are quite pleased and grateful to have a such a beautiful space to enjoy.We would recommend Petra Custom Builders for those who appreciate a level of exceptional quality and design.

    Petra Custom Builders is an amazing company. Not only have they completed some amazing projects for many of the families in our club, they constantly give back to the community. Our club offers wrestling to wrestlers of all ages and many in need of assistance that without companies like Petra we would not be able to provide! Support the companies that support our children, you cant go wrong with Petra!

    Jimmy Moore, the owner of Petra is building a custom home on our property. The original home was destroyed in the Marshall Fire in Boulder County, Colorado. Jimmy approached us to build the house right after the fire. We hired him on the spot as Petra had done a small remodel for us in 2017, and we were extremely happy with the result. Hiring Petra was a no-brainer and we were quite excited.Then came the part where we had to negotiate the amount the insurance company would pay for the re-build. The home was 30 years old, and many building codes were very different and much more expensive. The original home blueprints were destroyed in the fire.While our adjuster was excellent, she was from the west coast and had little experience with the stringent Boulder County building requirements, which are quite specific and onerous. She hired consultants to help her evaluate the amount, and they also were very inexperienced in Boulder County codes.While he had no requirement to do so, Jimmy took over the process on our behalf. As a builder in the county, Jimmy and Petra were experts in this area.Jimmy spent many hours with the adjusters experts educating them on Boulder County, including the back-up data to support his/our position. The result was a very favorable result, where we feel the insurance company is giving us a fair amount for the rebuild.THIS WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED without Jimmys hard work and expertise. We are so very grateful for Jimmy and Petra. Losing everything you own and is miserable. Jimmy and Petra have made this process so much better for us.

    Petra Custom builders finished our basement (during quarantine!) and I can’t speak highly enough of them. From start to finish their team was communicative, professional, true to their word, and really a pleasure to work with. Our basement is better than we could have imagined, much more of a second story than just a basement. We did not anticipate working with a designer since we have done remodels in the past. But I have to say that their designer Celeste truly made our project special. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a remodel!

    If youve been looking for a contractor and have landed on the Petra Custom Builders website, you can STOP looking! You will never find another company that can compete on integrity, quality, expertise, or attention to detail.From start to finish, Petra was amazing. The budget process was detailed and complete so there were no surprises and, believe it or not, no cost over runs! A superintendent was assigned to our project. Dennett was on site every day. I cant even describe the peace of mind and confidence this gave us, just knowing that he discussed each job with both Petras workers and the sub-contractors. Most days he started his day with us and then stopped by each evening to make sure the work was done correctly and that the workers cleaned up after themselves.Because people are people, and people make mistakes, there were a few on our remodel. On a job of our size, my husband and I knew there would be, but the way Petra handled each issue (and there were really very few) was incredible. The attitude was always, of course we will make it right. Never an argument, never a hint of blame, just good old fashioned pride in making sure each result along the way was what we wanted.If you have any questions, I am more than willing to talk to you.

    Ive always dreamed of a beautiful art and photography studio and the Petra Custom Builders made my husband and my dream come true!     Our team had a positive experience working with PCB from the onset. The design build-process implemented streamlined design through construction (current) with the ability to talk through design opportunities and learning edges as they presented themselves throughout the process.The PCB team drove conversations on cost, constructability, and coordinating with the owner who was out of state with clear and concise communication and creating realistic expectations for all design phases. Our team is looking forward to seeing this project come to life!

Added 84 sq ft for a galley kitchen, nana wall, warm board radiant floor, sky tubes, pocket doors, on demand water heater, humidifier, custom cabinets, all new appliances, a Heat Return Ventilation system, spray foam entire house, new roof, reconfigured interior footprint, new guest bath, new master bath, interior trim and paint. Exceptional crew, build quality, flexibility, since this remodel I have used Petra for another total remodel, and have a 3rd on the schedule. They get it right !

    We had a great experience working with Petra Custom Builders! From the start of the design process through getting our Certificate of Occupancy, they were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. They provided valuable guidance and recommendations even when we encountered obstacles, which we did have, and always kept us informed and updated on the progress. They went above and beyond, focusing on the relationship and ensuring that the final product was better than we imagined. They also finished the project on time, which turned out to be essential - the COVID lockdown was implemented two weeks after we finished (yes, I know I am late writing this review). With the way prices skyrocketed, materials became harder to get and subcontractors more challenging to schedule; had they not, we might not have been able to complete our home. We are thrilled with the result and love our new home!
