    Clear, transparent, great at communicating, friendly, prompt, and they go the extra mile. Awesome customer service. When doing service on my furnace, they found the manual nearby and analyzed what extra work needed to be done, and presented me with their findings. Jeremy is so great. Then they helped me on-the-spot clean my bathroom vent. When raising my vent exhaust pipe on the exterior of the home, they did another couple inches to make sure its definitely to code. Didnt try to oversell me on anything and were very honest. They have my business going forward and Ill recommend them to all my friends and family!

    Obviously its ideal if everything goes right the first time, but sometimes it doesnt, it happens. Nearly as important as the initial work quality is how a company honors their work after theyve been paid.Had a couple issues from some work Save Home did, but Brandon (the owner) jumped right on it, immediately sent out technicians to fix, and got everything squared away. Sign of a company with high integrity.Plan on using Save Home again.

    Referred to Save Home Heat by a co-worker and could not be happier with the experience. Our furnace was not running properly and I knew I needed some expert help.Scheduling was friendly and easy (and timely). The service tech, John, was out the next day on time and courteous. He diagnosed the problem (capacitor) replaced the piece on the spot, and took the time to point out some basic furnace maintenance areas and how I could handle them myself. Overall a fantastic experience start to finish. I was very happy with the result, the professionalism, and the new HVAC company I have found. Thanks all for the quick and successful help!

    I contacted Save Home Heat to see if my homes minisplits and Cove heating needed to be serviced. Save Home Heat sent me a text informing me that Jesus was coming and enabled me to track his progress to my home and it was helpful to know his ETA. Jesus is an excellent listener, he answered all my questions clearly, checked all that was needed to be checked, and educated me as to how I might best maintain the minisplits and Cove heating. He took a lot of time doing this. It is evident that he loves his job and hes very good at it.

    Save Home Heat did a great job repairing my air conditioning system that was failing to cool. I tried another company first and they completely missed the problem, total waste of money. As soon as Jesus from Save Home Heat showed up it was obvious he was much more knowledgeable and professional. He correctly diagnosed the issue with the condensing unit and fixed it quickly. If I ever have another HVAC issue in the future, this is who Im calling.

    I met with Bryan Baker from Save Home Heat today to get a bid to install a ductless mini split for a master bedroom. He was timely, polite, professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and overall just a pleasure to work with. After vetting several contractors, theres no one else Id rather work with, and I cant recommend them enough!

    Updating my review. The owner Brandon called me and we were able to resolve my issue with a refund. He was helpful and friendly. Based on our conversation, I used them for an AC issue at my primary residence. We had great service from Jesus. He quickly assessed the issue and our AC is blowing cold. Would recommend Save Home Heat!Dishonest experience with Save Home Heat after previously having a positive one installing a furnace. Recently, my partner and I had them repair an AC unit at our rental. It was a simple fix of flipping the breaker. However, after doing a diagnosis, the repair tech did not provide a quote or request authorization until after he reset it. He had her sign the authorization after the repair. We were charged $100 for this which was after the $75 dispatch and $100 diagnostic fee. I was traveling for work at the time and if present would not have authorized the fix. Realizing we were scammed, I called the office to make a formal complaint and was told a manager would call me back, which never happened. My partner called two weeks later as a follow up and the receptionist said that the $100 was an additional diagnostic fee, which didnt make sense. She then transferred her to the manager who didnt pick up or have a voicemail and still have not heard back. I would avoid using this company despite their high reviews or be cautious after a diagnosis is made.

    Save Home Heat has been a fantastic company to work with on several occasions. When my furnace broke, they were one of the only companies to not try to talk me out of an electric air-source heat pump in favor of a new natural gas system, and their demonstrated expertise (e.g., walking me through how the systems work, detailing their calculations for getting a unit of the appropriate size) led me to choose them for the install. They were fantastic throughout the installation process, and the heat pump they provided has kept the house at its usual warm temperature through Denvers coldest weather (down to -17 degrees Fahrenheit most recently) while being ultra-efficient through most of the year. Save Home Heat also made the rebate process very easy.Most recently, following a burst water line and some basement flooding, they helped me service the heat pump to quickly get it up and running again. Im also using them to replace my hot water heater. Save Home Heat is professional and timely, and their technicians have consistently done an excellent job while taking the time to answer all of my questions. Working with them gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend.

    I came home from work to find that my furnace had gone out when we were experiencing subfreezing temperatures. I called Save Home Heat after hours and was able to talk with one of their techs quickly to see if there was an easy fix. I spoke with Byron and he was so kind and patient, even though it was after hours. There wasnt a quick fix, so Byron gave me great advice for how to get through the night, then came out the next day and fixed my furnace within about 45 minutes. Very happy with how quickly they were able to schedule me and with the excellent service I received.

    The gentlemen who serviced our heating system were very experienced, speedy with their work and provided excellent costumer service. As home owners, we wanted to understand our heating system better, and they both took their time to explain things in laymens terms so we have a better understanding how our condenser heater works. Anyone who is reading this review is probably deciding if Save Home Heat will be your best choice. As someone who just used their service, I recommend them. You might find cheaper, but I doubt youll find the experience and peace of mind that your home is safe and healthy.

During the January freeze, our furnace decided to crap out on us, and Bryan was available same day to take a look at our furnace and price out options for us. At that time, we were able to get the furnace working again, but we knew it was only a matter of time.Just a week ago, with another snowstorm covering Colorado, our furnace finally decided to crap out. Bryan updated the estimates for me, I signed, and within 24 hours of signature, the team was here (Michael and Jacob) to replace our furnace.     I recently had to replace my nearly 60-year-old furnace and decided to add central air at the same time. Bryan was very thorough in going over all of my options and finding out which units qualified for an Xcel Energy rebate. Once the installation was scheduled, the work started and ended on time, and any problems that came up (did I mention that it was an old furnace?) were solved easily and quickly after consulting with me.I was impressed with the knowledge and skill level of everyone who worked on installing my furnace and central air unit. They were able to route the pipes from the furnace under the existing deck in the back to minimize their visibility.I appreciate how Save Home has their own electricians on staff to handle the installation, eliminating problems that come up when there is a third-party electrician involved. Victor was able to route the air intake and exhaust from the furnace through a network of pipes that were already in the existing space, a task that was not very easy to do. He was also able to get the new furnace to fit into the space for the old furnace that was significantly smaller. Lastly, I was very impressed that he came back *after I had paid the bill* to reroute the exhaust pipe for me, so that I could close off the furnace area at a later time.Save Home Heat is the best company that I have worked with in a long time. They know what they are doing, and they were honest and upfront in all of their communications with me. You wont find a better company to deal with.

    Save Home Heat has been wonderful to work with for our AC/HVAC and plumbing repairs, maintenance and installation. We had two heat pumps installed last year as our Summers are getting hotter and longer. The units are fantastic. We just had our first year maintenance and all is going well. We were so happy with the quality of work that we have now used them for all of our plumbing needs too - boiler/radiant heat system and water pressure. All around great experience.

    I have been through what seems like a million horrible contractors in the past ten years. Not so with Save Home Heat. I have a heat pump system that was installed in the last year by a licensed HVAC guy. And with the installation came problems. I called Save Home Heat after doing a ton of research and wasnt sure what to expect. Let me just say the company is AWESOME! The tech that came out was just wonderful. He was respectful, clean, on-time, knowledgeable, personable, and just simply great! He took the time to identify the issue, came to me with the plan, and had two heat pump systems finally working within a few hours.To say that I am happy with Save Home Heat would be an understatement. I now have a new HVAC contractor that will be on speed dial should I have any future issues or decide to add more stuff to my HVAC system (we will be calling once we save up to add a whole home humidifier system - expect a call in the near future Save Home Heat!!).     I have used this company in the past and they provide a professional service. They are on time and have competent master plumbers and HVAC professionals. Repairs, maintenance are a cost, but it is better to have a unit running and avoiding breakdowns in the future and Save Home Heat can get the job done.

    Victor and Ricky did a great job on our new furnace installation. We had a difficult access situation whereby the old furnace needed to be taken apart in order to be removed. Our old ducting was also less than optimal and they added 35 inches of new ductwork to solve this issue and also to allow for the installation of a heat pump in the future. They configured the new thermostat and gave me instructions on how to operate it. They finished their work promptly all within one work day.

    I wanted to replace my gas furnace and old AC with a cold-climate heat pump. Unfortunately, I quickly learned that it was going to be a difficult job as space constraints made any install problematic. Save Home Heat was the only contractor who inspired confidence that they could make the system work, and they had good answers to back everything up. Throughout the process they were always on time. Plus, they were cost competitive with other contractors and in the end, the project came in at slightly less than the estimate. Most importantly, they did great work and fixed a number of code issues that prior contractors had left unresolved.Time will tell how the system performs in the dead of winter, but overall I am extremely satisfied with choosing SHH for this project.

He recently tracked down the cause of a leak in our hot water system which also serves as our baseboard heating source and discovered our home water pressure regulator was not working and our hot water tank was not regulated properly.     Because of my excellent previous experience with Save Home Heat on my furnace repair, I subsequently had them also do my water heater installation. Once again, the service was promptly and expertly done, at a fair price. What I have now is so much better than what I had before. My experience with Save Home Heat is so good it saves me the time and effort of checking with other businesses for this service. I can be confident calling Save Home Heat for any service they provide.------Timothy from Save Home Heat came out last Friday, only an hour after I called. He cleaned the flame detector but did not charge me for that because he wasnt sure that it would completely solve the problem. He really thought that the control board was the root cause, but because the failure was intermittent and he couldnt get it to reproduce (and he tried for an hour to do so--he just doesnt give up), he could not test for that. He gave me the option of ordering the control board, which I declined until I could see whether or not cleaning of the flame detector would work.On Monday, the furnace had a hard failure, so I called Save Home Heat back and had them order the part. The part came in on Wednesday, and Timothy was back within 30 minutes. He installed the control board and now my furnace is working. Thank goodness! Its cold outside.I really appreciate Save Home Heats diligence in pursuing this problem, and their unwillingness to jump to the easy solution, which would have been wrong.

    Russ and Kyle installed a water softener today. During the initial visit, Russ explained everything clearly and didnt try to sell me something we didnt need, like a 2nd carbon filter unit which another companys estimator said I would need to get rid of the chlorine smell/taste - Russ said its not needed. He also recommended a whole house filter which doesnt require regular filter replacement.We also had them install a mini-split system last fall, which were really enjoying now that its summer. They always respond quickly, especially Bryan, who would return my email within an hour each time. Great company!

They came out to give an estimate and I was pleasantly to hear that they could install the thermostat while they were already at our house. Let me start this review with it is hard to find contractors that do their job and do it well! I had a previous AC/Heat company that I would not recommend to anyone. I found Save Home Heat via their google reviews and called them for an furnace issue at one of my houses.Being May and snowing in Boulder, they were out in less than 36 hours, and diagnosed the problem gave me a temporary repair and gave me options on either repairing or replacing. Dean the tech was very honest and knowledgeable. Their quote for a replacement was reasonable and after getting a second quote, I decided to go with them. They installed the furnace quicker than quoted due to the failing state and the unusually cold May. Their work was awesome!I had two other houses that had previously been serviced by another company. SHH sent Russell out to do a service on the furnace and AC. Again awesome service. He found that the AC unit had not been cleaned in some time (laziness of previous technicians not wanting to take apart the unit and clean the fins) and my furnace was still set at the default for sea level. He fixed all the issues and was very professional.Ive interacted with multiple people in the company and they have all been honest and willing to go the extra mile. They do a great job and are good at their job. They show up on schedule. Id recommend them to anyone.

    After a recommendation from a coworker we called Save Home Heat to help us after we discovered water leaking from our HVAC unit when our AC was running. They were able to come out the very next day. I like that they have after hours service for an extra fee. He took the time to walk me through what our issue was, a clogged drain line. Did you know you should occasionally clean the drain pipe that goes from the condenser coil to the drain? I had no idea!     Save Home Heat was here yesterday to do the yearly maintenance on our air conditioner. Jackson was here several hours doing a very thorough inspection and routine upkeep. Two months ago Jesus did an excellent job servicing our heating unit. Our tankless water heater is next on the list. We take advantage of Save Home Heat’s yearly maintenance option and it’s a very smart decision. It starts with a 5 point inspection: AC, Heat, Water Heater, Plumping and Electronics. After that they come out on a yearly basis to do routine inspection and maintenance. It’s a low cost option for peace of mind. Save Home Heat came to my house and did a detailed assessment taking into consideration the insulation, windows, and siding. The installation technicians did a great job, and made sure they cleaned up the area after they were done. When I couldnt get the outdoor temp reading to work on the new thermostat panel, they sent another technician who resolved the issue.     On a day when the outdoor temperature was -6 degrees, our furnace stopped working. Safe Home Heat made time the same day to send a technician out to service our gas furnace. Our technician, Rafael, was punctual, professional, courteous, and even talked me through the trouble-shooting he was doing so Id have a better sense on how our furnace works. He got our old furnace running again, and he thoughtfully explained our options when the eventual replacement of our furnace. I couldnt have asked for a better experience (especially during the ongoing pandemic, when weve been wary of having people we dont know in our house).My only complaint is that while the service visit lasted 60 minutes and while no parts had to be replaced (it was only the high limit switch that had tripped and Rafael fixed this by removing the switch and lightly tapping it), I was charged $175 for a service category labeled instant or minor service. This strikes me as rather excessive for the work that was completed. The owner, Dave, thoughtfully reached out to me about my concerns, which demonstrates Save Home Heats commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction. I would rely on them again.

    Jeremy arrived early (imagine that, during the aftermath of a snowstorm), but by the time he arrived, our water heater had reignited on its own. Since he had to charge me the trip charge, he offered to do whatever else we might need, and I asked if he could inspect the furnace. He did a thorough job, and cleaned the heat sensor. We got our moneys worth, and it was a very pleasant experience. Fine help, fine company!

    Last year, as our 22-yr-old AC unit was making loud noises during the on/off cycles, we started researching the replacement of our HVAC system. Wanting to gain efficiency but not have our yard dug up for a geothermal system, we decided to go with an “air to air” heat pump unit.After reviewing the brands available, the next goal was to find a trusted, local HVAC contractor. Conversations with friends lead to Save Home Heat as one such local company. Combined with online reviews, we decided to get an estimate form SHH. Due diligence on our part also led us to get an estimate form another local HVAC contractor of good regard.Our 1st interaction was with Bryan, who came to check over our current system & to recommend an air to air heat pump with gas furnace back-up. Bryan was very enthusiastic [in a good way!] and it soon became obvious that he was also very knowledgeable.Online research indicated that for these types of heat pumps, sizing is very important [bigger is not better!] Of the two company reps we interviewed, Bryan was the only one to use what are known as “Manual J” calculations. The other rep simply used the square footage of our house obtained from the county records, which lead him to recommend a much larger [tonnage] unit. [Note: as a check on the information we had gathered from the two reps, we had our son, who works in HVAC design for commercial buildings, review the two estimates. He concluded that Bryan’s calculations were “real world” while the other estimate was oversized for our needs!]. So, we committed to having SHH install a state-of-the-art Lennox heat pump with an 80% efficient Lennox gas furnace as backup for cold weather.Our research also indicated that system installation is even more important than the brand one chooses, as the top end units are very reliable these days. In fact, I found an HVAC forum where retired installers stated that in their years of experience, most HVAC issues stem from incorrect installation/sizing. As good as our initial experience with Bryan was, the real test would be how the unit was installed. This is where SHH really shined!Over 2 days, the SHH crew did a great job at our home. Corey, the lead of the crew and a very sharp guy, made sure all the calculations for air supply/return air met specs for the system. In fact, at one point his calculations showed we were a bit short on the necessary air flow. To his credit, he took the time to review the issue with us, and we ended up cutting an extra air supply in our basement The electrician was also a fine young man who did a very neat job rearranging the breakers/wiring in our electrical panel.Our old system had a code violation with the coolant lines that entered our garage and continued to the furnace/blower area in the basement. One of the techs [Dakota] spent a good bit of time rearranging the lines and making everything meet the code. Plus, he did a great job making all the piping look good in our finished garage!So, after 2 days of hard work, we had a new system. Installed at the end of October, we now have 2 months of usage on the new system during differing conditions. The unit is energy efficient, quiet and keeps our house very toasty! We no longer have cold spots in the house. Plus, it’s so cool to realize that even at temperatures down to the low twenties, we are still pulling heat out of the air!In conclusion, we are thrilled with our decision to go with a Lennox system and are even happier with our choice of SHH as our installer. Bryan was great at getting the ball rolling. Corey, Dakota and the rest of the crew were on time, polite, respectful of our property, and did a great job at both the installation and at teaching us how to use all of the cool new tech that came with the system. Every interaction we had with the folks back at the office was positive also. We highly recommend Save Home Heat if you are considering a new HVAC system. It sure seems like everyone at this company is “rowing in the same direction”!

    After two service calls, it is my pleasure to have met Jeremy. He is a great asset to your company. He did a great job repairing the A/C and added much value as he fine-tuned our HVAC system.Hard to believe this story but while he was at my house, a cold water pipe (which had been leaking for who knows how long) burst and flooded our lower level. Jeremy said he was (also) a certified plumber and he was willing to work until the problem was solved. He checked all the hose bibs outside. No leaks. Checks all the HVAC intakes on the main level. No visible leak. Back downstairs to the lower level and Into the ceiling searching for the leak. Using shears, he cut a window through the duct and put an iPhone and flahlight into the void and recorded video. Jeremy heard water spraying. Before long he had located the leak, cut out a section of bad pipe and replaced it. All in a days work.Im sure the rest of the mitigation will not go as well.Photos and videos have been taken.

Save Home Heat had serviced my heater in Boulder, and I had been very happy with them, so I was relieved to find out that they would come down to Denver too.I reached out and they were able to fit me in the next day. Jesus called ahead, as promised, and let me know he could come early. Once he arrived, he quickly helped me get AC unit leveled out but, when we tried testing it out, it wouldn’t turn on. They show up on time (or early), get it fixed on the first trip, and are always willing to answer my questions and show me what they’re doing.

    Highly recommend. They were professional in scheduling the service (got service the next day due to cancelation). They sent an e-mail reminder and then a text when they were in route. Arrived at the beginning of the service window so I wasnt sitting around waiting for them to arrive. Once at our home, Nick was able to quickly assess a problem with the facet and found a leak in the toilet. He quickly installed the new parts. Our water bill indicated continuous use and he was able to assess the cause of that (the water filter) and reset the filter, to lower our overall water consumption.     Save Home Heat replaced our ceiling fan. The fan was 15 feet above the ground so not easy to reach. The technician gave us the quote, brought in a 12 foot ladder, worked for 3 and a half hours, figured out how to resolve all the unexpected issues which came up along the way like mounting brackets incompatible with the existing ceiling mount, charged us exactly as promised and left us with a finished working product.     Technician Daniel appeared for our appointment right at beginning of our 2-hour appointment window. Much appreciated his timeliness, jovial demeanor, and efficiency. He explained and pointed out the issues with our current 19 year old system, then explained the repair v total system replacement costs. Provided an estimate within 15 minutes and again went over pros and cons of repair v replacement costs and long-term investment. Quality company and customer service. Highly recommended without hesitation.
