    Our air conditioner broke in a heat wave and just brought my husband home from hospital. Called A&H and two very polite men were here in an hour. Joel and Said found the problem and fixed within an hour. They replaced capacitor and wires Price was good . Our house is cool again!We’re very grateful for them coming so quickly and a good repair. Some companies just tell you to get a new conditioner and costs a lotI highly recommend them!

    A &H Mechanical came to tune up our AC unit. You get a text when they are on their way. The tech was polite and friendly. He actually took his shoes off when he entered the house. Work was neat and he even watered my flowers while my garden hose was retracting! Would be happy to recommend them to my friends & family

    Lake Parsippany resident here. I did a ton of research, quotes and discussions with the local big names around this area and truthfully they were decent. However, when I spoke to Andre, he convinced me that his small-business quality of service was something worth looking into. Not only that, but this company one of the VERY few HVAC companies with a a 95%+ review rating across a few sites (I checked!) Further to that, any complaints that were posted was addressed professionally and directly by the owners. that might be a weird thing to pay attention to, but it showed to me that they cared about their reputation.. again, something the other guys did not do.Andre promised me quick a quick turnaround, fast call backs, a fair price, and quality service & install on our AC condenser and Air Handler (Full AC replacement on a 15 year old system). He and his team exactly that, at a better price than his competitors. Im happy I trusted my gut and now I have a perfect AC system.Ill report back after the summer as an update.Update Feb 2023: AC has been working well with one hiccup a few weeks after installation. The return line looked backed up and started overflowing into the pan.. only problem was the pan was not fitted properly under my attic evaporator unit, which resulted in water leaking into my kids room through the ceiling. I called Andre and he had someone come the first thing next morning to fix it - which they did. I have had zero issues since then however I did have to repair the ceiling due to several gallons of water leaking through (obviously worried about potential mold issues over my childrens head).

    We are extremely pleased with the service received. Our zoned AC system suddenly conked-out and after trouble-shooting with no results, we called on A&H due to reviews and werent let down. Easy scheduling and Joel the Technician was prompt for the appointment, friendly and walked us throughout to quickly discover the one minor problem causing the issue. Will call on this company whenever needed!UPDATE: Just had Joel out to perform the annual start-up for the winter season and he continued to render excellent customer service!

    Quick response and a good understanding of a fairly unconventional job. It took a while to find and order a replacement motor, but you certainly did it better than I could. If I have one complaint, it was In the area of responsiveness to my calls and emails. They were at times later than I would have preferred, and occasionally my queries and messages were not returned on my first call.

    My downstairs furnace wasn’t producing any heat on the first really cold day of the season. Called A&H at 8AM and spoke to Andre, the company head who promptly dispatched his repair technician to our home. After performing diagnostic tests (which were thoroughly explained) it was clear the blower motor was shot, so the technician arranged to obtain a new motor the same day which was installed and we had heat again by 4PM! Price was very reasonable for the service!

    I *highly* recommend A & H Mechanical in Boonton for your heating and air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair needs.We have an 1820s colonial; for 24 years, Ive lugged window AC units to and from the garage. This year, we finally took the plunge to install Central Air. To do it right, we needed a new furnace as well. This was NOT an easy install -- plaster walls and ceilings, tight spaces in the attic, limited and tricky access to the oldest portion of the house.Andre was the first estimate of several I received, and I knew I wanted to hire him immediately. Hes just an honest business owner and a genuinely nice guy. He and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Andre sets a high standard for A&Hs finished work, and he continued to volunteer to make adjustments until we were fully satisfied. The dual-zone HVAC system is ultra quiet, powerful, and energy efficient.I would recommend to a friend without reservation, and I will definitely use A&H again myself.

    Andre, the owner, came over within 60 minutes of my phone call. Hes right in Boonton, which was only a couple miles away from my house. He was ending the day and he said I just caught him and he came over and he fixed my natural gas hot water boiler heater, which had a water leak in it and the price was very, very reasonable. My only regret was, I didnt have enough money to pay him in cash not that that was a requirement.He fixed the whole thing inside of 70 minutes and I was very impressed with his workmanship, his honesty and his integrity, and I will use him again for all future HVAC issues, no doubt !

    Andre was contracted at my residence for both new installation of A/C System and yearly maintenance on my equipment.     Andre and his team did a great job removing an old ac unit and installing new. They completed the job in one day and cleaned up after themselves. Price was fair and in line with a few other companies I had quote out. We really liked that they are a small business and that Andre works on the jobs himself with his team. Some other companies you have one guy quote, then someone else do a job, and the owners are somewhere else. We would definitely recommend A&H.

    We came back from vacation finding a cold house since the heater stopped running. I called A&H and Andre came out to try to solve the issue. At first it seemed to be an issue of doing some cleaning. Unfortunately, that did not help, and A&H were really responsive and came to install some new parts. When that did not solve the issue, Andre and his team really took responsibility and came back to do another thorough investigation to try to find the main issue. Andre and his team really take the time to explain what they are doing. The issue got fixed to great satisfaction. Andre and his team are not only very knowledgeable, honest and customer-friendly, but they are just nice guys! I can wholeheartedly recommend this company and will definitely call on them in the future, if needed.

    We had an old heating system that wasn’t working very well when we decided to install a new one. We made a little research in our area and came across A&H. They were very professional, and the new system works great. A few months later our thermostat stopped working and Andre made time to help us solve the problem rather fast before it became a big inconvenience. He even went out of his way to lend us a thermostat while until the new one arrived. I would definitely recommend them. They are responsive and get back to you in no time. I had experience with other companies coming to the house before them, and I can tell they are definitely outstanding in all aspects. Thanks for everything !

    It was the coldest night of the year, and our oil burner suddenly stopped working - no heat or hot water! I called A&H at 7a.m., on a Saturday, and Andre was here within thirty minutes. Think about that - I live in a rural area, and Andre made it here in thirty minutes. Within two minutes of being here, he got to work on my oil burner and brought it back to life. He didn’t charge any ridiculous emergency fees. In all of our years of living here, I have never met ANYONE as professional as Andre. He left my home as neat as he found it. Explained what he was doing step by step, and was very friendly to our kids. My only complaint is that A&H sets the bar so high for how a customer should be treated, that nobody else will measure up! If you need service, call A&H!

    Couldnt be more happy with Andre and his team, Im in the plumbing and heating business but do not work in the HVAC field. A&H was recommended to me by a local supply shop.     A&H has been wonderful to work with. We first used Andre and co. when our heater was acting up in the middle of the night and were shocked that a REAL PERSON answered our call! Everyone from A&H has been informative, helpful, and friendly. We had them install our new oil boiler and they left the place spotless after working all day on the install. We had a hiccup after install and Andre and Christina responded right away and stopped by to make some adjustments to our new heating system.     Andre is a gem of a contractor. I was fortunate enough to learn of him from a home warranty company who I had a policy with when he was assigned to my job. I have since hired him on other projects. He is so good! Not only is he dependable, which is such a rarity with contractors, but he is fairly priced and knows his craft.     We just bought our first house and a week in, our furnace went. Luckily, the previous owners threw in a warranty for our appliances, including our heating system. The warranty company assigned us to A & H. Andre, the owner was extremely professional, helping us through the warranty claim process and keeping us up to date with the status. As soon as we had the green light, he scheduled our replacement and had the old one removed and the new one installed in a day. He was extremely flexible and his team was very personable. The new furnace looks great and the surrounding area is clean. I would recommend.

    I cant say enough good things about Andre and his team. Its so hard to find someone to show up, be on time, and actually fix whats wrong. After having a horrible experience with our previous company, I tried this one. What a breath of fresh air. Andre was professional, personable, and confident in his work. He is a hard worker who deserves your business! I would give 6 stars if I could.The air conditioning unit broke in our 3 month olds room and temperatures shot up to 90 in early May, making the nursery unusable. Even though his schedule was packed, Andre squeezed us in. His wife, who scheduled the appointment, was kind and sensitive to my concerns about the baby. He was here the next day and discovered a problem with the unit that our previous company had missed. He even guaranteed his work for the year. Its hard to beat that kind of service!

    My central air system bit the dust during the heat wave at the end of June. Needed to replace my whole system. Andre came by when promised and quoted me a very competitive price. he took the time to explain the different systems he uses and the pros and cons of each. Called him the next day and scheduled the work. Installers showed up on time and completed the job within 6-7 hours which was right on the money. They did a great job. Very neat and careful. You can tell they really care about the job they do. System is working great. Looking to use them for my heating needs also.

    My original 30 yr old HVAC unit stopped blowing cold air in late August, so I began to search for a quality company. Im normally very thorough and read all the reviews. For A&H, I found some very good testimonials so I gave them a call. I spoke with Andre, one of the owners, and he was willing to come out right away to look at my problem. At first we were hopeful it was just a clogged pipe for the condensation pump, and Andre cleaned it. Unfortunately that didnt solve the problem and after some inspection, found that the unit was leaking coolant. Andre took the time to discuss options with me and explaining the government regulations regarding the new refrigerant. Fixing the leak and then filling with the old refrigerant, which has shot up in price thanks to the new regulation, didnt make financial sense, so I realized I would need to replace the unit. Andre gave me a good price, but like I said, Im thorough. I called around and asked for estimates and in the end, A&H had the best combination of price and customer service, so I went with them. We ended up paying a little more to replace the furnace too, as we would need to replace the coils anyway with the new type of HVAC unit. Andre and his team spent the whole day removing the old units and installing the new. They cleaned up after themselves and were very satisfied.Thanks Andre and while I hope I dont need to call him anymore, I wont hesitate to contact A&H in the future if needed.

    I have used these guys 3 times in the last year, and it has always been a fantastic experience. We used them for an AC issue, a gas line repair, and just recently a plumbing issue.     Andre just left and I couldnt wait a minute to write my review. Our AC went out this morning on one of the hottest days of the summer. Our usual AC company said it would be tomorrow. I called Adre and while on the phone with him he told me what to do to get the line defrosted and said hed be by in a few hours once the ice melted. He came by, put some freon in the system and were back in business. He was exceptionally nice, helped me understand the problem and when the unit should be tested (our usual vendor tested it but didnt do so when it was hot outside). Andre is my man from now on. When we get a new unit, hell install it. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

    I had to get 2 entire A/C condensers and air handlers changed out. Andre was super easy to schedule and showed up on time , explained everything thoroughly, was honest and straight with recommendations and answering questions I had. (dont discount this! Ive had experience with many HVAC companies that you cant get a hold of, or dont show up when they say they will, or try to upsell you every thing in their entire inventory and make you drive off the lot with a porsche when all you need is an accord)The project itself was over the course of 2 separate days, the project was completed on time and within scope and within the estimates that were given.I wouldnt hesitate to call Andre and his team again for any of my HVAC needs.

    Andre has come to our rescue twice within the last month and we are thrilled with the service he provides! Just today, we had to call to arrange for new gas and water valves to be put in for kitchen appliance installation.     They came quickly after I called to tell them my hot water heater was leaking. They came assessed the problem and came the next day to replace the unit. They were punctual professional and did a great job. I have a 3 year old so getting hot water back as soon as possible was a priority and they came through. Would recommend them to anyone.When it rains it pours. Last week I had to have my hot water heater replaced by A&H Mechanical Services. Saturday evening I smelled gas and heard the leak behind my stove. NJNG came and found the leak and shut the gas off to the stove. Turns out the previous owner installed the gas line using flex pipe through the floor which is extremely illegal and dangerous. Andre and George came out and what should have been a routine job turned into a much harder job because of the way the work was initially done by the previous owner. 2 and a half hours later of cutting, drilling, and fabricating, I have a working stove and gas line. I said it on my last review and I will reiterate, I would recommend A&H Mechanical Services to any and everyone. Great guys that do great work.
