    Courtesy sent Nick out to diagnose a slow kitchen drain. After a thorough inspection of the plumbing system and diagnosis of the issue he recommended the appropriate solution and took care of the issue all in the same visit. He was very personable, friendly and polite in addition to being quite knowledgeable and experienced. It was a pleasure meeting Nick and working with Courtesy.

    I had originally left a three-star review. I had said the pros of this company were that they were professional, they were very timely, they were clean and conscious of the fact they were working in my home.I needed a gas valve replaced and the issue I had was that I was charged several hundred dollars for the technician who came out to tell me he was unable to do the task.I then had a second company come out who was able to do the task.Im changing my reviews to five stars now because the owner personally called me and refunded all of my money. The owner was understanding, accountable, polite, and genuine. Things you dont see often these days. So even though I didnt get the results I wanted the owner made sure to make things right.You can never expect people to be perfect, but in todays day and age its very refreshing to come across a company thats honest and accountable.

    I took a chance on them to get a 2nd estimate and ended up learn more about my drain issue. Dave was very knowledgeable and offered an option to save tearing up my dadā€™s new driveway too.     Justin was my plumber and he was supergreat, we spoke with him and Alyssa after speaking with two other plumbing companies after buying a home and inheriting some exhausting and existing plumbing issues, Justin was the first one to remediate the immediate issue and letting us know a reasonable timeline to do approach the rest of the work. 10/10 experience, felt like my problem was actually heard and addressed and that we werenā€™t just being taken advantage of. Definitely will be using them again and requesting Justin in the future.

    We needed to move a gas pipe about a foot so I called Courtesy Plumbing based on an excellent recommendation from our HVAC company. Since we were in a time crunch for completion of the project, and several other plumbing companies couldnt help out for a good month, I was surprised when Courtesy could send someone out later that day, after listening to our struggles at getting back into our home following a lithium-ion battery fire 8 months ago. When Mickey arrived, I told him what we needed and he quickly went to work, trying to rectify the situation. He took this job very seriously but came up with a solution in a few minutes. I tagged along as he went from kitchen to basement several times. Pretty soon, he drilled a new hole in the flooring behind a cabinet in the kitchen and threaded the pipe through the floor and into the cabinet for the new cooktop. Our rebuilding contractor wanted $1,200 for the project but Courtesy changed me less than 1/3 of that for the same thing. I like Mickey and am impressed by his work and problem-solving abilities, so much so that I asked him to return the following day to correct a leak in one of our toilets. Would I hire Courtesy and Mickey again? You bet!

    I called Courtesy late in the afternoon on Friday. The young woman who answered was very nice and professional. She asked about having someone come out Saturday morning between 8 -10 am. I received a text Saturday morning that Justin S.was on his way. Arriving as scheduled, Justin was very friendly and resolved my issue without hesitation. The service call was very reasonably priced. He explained the possible causes, what would need to be done if it happens again, including quotes. He demonstrated his knowledge, honesty and certainly gained my trust. He did not try to upsell me on something I didnt need. He was so friendly, he felt like someone Ive known for a long time.     Early last Wednesday morning we found that our 16 year old water heater was leaking badly. I had to shut off the main water valve to stop the leaking. Used them several times now.Referred to me by another person (plumbing/electric- he did it all) who didnā€™t have the time to fix a leaky pipe (it was summer and he had a lot of ACs to work on).I had a friend over while he worked and she then hired him too.     New Review:Called Courtesy to detect the source of a ceiling water leak. Justin arrived promptly and was able to quickly identify the source of the leak (upstairs toilet), replace the corroded wax ring and re-install the toilet using the CORRECT extended wax ring and bolts that my general contractor neglected to do on our bathroom renovation a few years back.     Review from 08/30/24: I called on Thursday evening and was able to schedule a service call for Friday (08/30/24). Received a text that Dave, the Service Tech, was on his way. First, I would like to say it was nice that there was a picture of the person who was going to be showing up at our home. Dave was on time. (I was lucky that it was at the beginning of my given time window.) He was very friendly and explained what the situation was and told me what our option would be. We ended up, last minute, having Dave install a new kitchen faucet for us.I always recommend Courtesy Plumbing (Bolingbrook) when anyone asks for plumbing recommendations. I have been using this company for more than ten years!(Previous post follows) I called on a Friday afternoon to see about availability and a guesstimate for a small project. Even though I could not be seen until the next day, mine was not an emergency and I was fine with it. We agreed on a 3-5 pm Saturday time slot and Matt was there at 3 pm sharp. He was very nice, quick, and yes....courteous! He helped answer some questions I had and I totally appreciated it. I appreciated not feeling like I was being bled dry with the pricing.     Very pleased with courtesy plumbing - we had sump pump issues that caused flooding in basement. We called first thing in morning and Anthony come out that same afternoon and was able to replace our sump pump very quickly. He came back another day to replace our back up sump pump.     Weā€™re lucky that we ended up dealing with Courtesy Plumbing Services. I observed Nick and Steveā€™s total dedication in their hours of work to clear up the blockage in our 45 year old sewer lateral pipeline using combinations of rotter-rooting and hydraulic jetting processes. When I saw them used a pipe borescope viewing system to make sure that the main sewer line was finally cleared up of scales and debris, I knew that I was dealing with the right people. They also warranted their work for 1 year and advised us on many ways to prevent and reduce same problems from occurring again in the future, I have great confidence with this company and probably call them back again someday.

    Called Courtesy Plumbing yesterday. Scheduled plumbing work for today. Rhonda was very helpful scheduling us for 8-10 am. Dave showed up at 8 am. (American Water also showed up and shut off water to an ever so slight drip). Dave changed out the water main along with the outside water spicket. Dave was very knowledgeable and professional. Another plumber from the company stopped by with a device since the under the sink main couldnt be sweated due to slight dripping. It was $$$ but worth it. I chose Courtesy Plumbing due to their quick/efficient service years ago when I had a a different plumbing problem.

    Frankie Moll is a heaven sent. He is truly an answer to intense prayer! He is a true professional who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the job is done right!     These guys do a great job and the price is fair. They are polite and arrive within the time window given. They are my plumber and have been for years now.     Weā€™ve used Courtesy many times for our plumbing needs. We appreciate their family based business. Nick cleared the kitchen sink drain obstruction after I tried myself with my smaller snake. I thought the charge would run around $200 for this simple procedure, but it ran about $150 above that which is rather high. Iā€™ve asked for the $35 website coupon to be applied which will help with the total cost. Waiting for owner Mickey to get that done.

    My toilet was flushing weird today. So I called these guys to come and take a look. Ronnie had to rod the line as there was a plugged line. He was quick and efficient. Its not the first time Ive needed them with a 53 year old home. Iveused other plumbers, but never again. Courtesy Plumbers always know what to do immediately. Ive even had to use them on a Saturday night. Thank goodness for their 24 hour service. In 53 years, these guys are truly THE BEST!

    I know I keep leaving posts on how great Courtesy Plumbing is. I have used them once again, and have done an outstanding job on redoing my sump pump.     A few years ago our favorite plumber did something bad to my wife and I, he retired!It is very hard to find a good honest plumber. Our search is now over! We called Courtesy Plumbing over to unclog our sewer line. It had backed up into our toilet and bathtub. Jason was sent over and he arrived about the time he was expected to. He assessed the situation. He had me walk with him along the line so I would better understand the problem as he explained it. Although the price was a little higher than I expected (before he gave as a quote) that was fine with me. He was sent out sent the same day which we desperately needed. He was very courteous and extremely good at what he did. He also cleaned up the area we worked in. Courtesy Plumbing is now our regular plumbing company. We will hire them no matter how big or how small the job.

Offered suggestions and gave recommendations on resetting the toilet myself without being too pushy about upselling a service. Second time using them and 10/10 would use (but hopefully wonā€™t need for awhile) again. Reasonable pricing with using their estimates towards the price of service. Highly recommend!

    What a fantastic company. We panicked when we thought our ejector pump stopped working in a our home that we recently bought and gave them a call. Frank was over in a few hours on a Saturday.In the meantime, we realized that the pump was indeed working. We let Frank know that, when he arrived, but he took a look anywayAfter 30 minutes of testing (and thoroughly educating myself on the everything ejector pump), he determined that our pump was perfectly fine and fairly new (within 3 years old). His recommendation was to do nothing and then went on to access our sump pump. He found that to be functioning just fine and offered info on the brand as well.The grand total for his time spent helping me with my non issues was nothing. Apparently, they offer free assessments and dont use that time to sell folks stuff they dont need. Truly, refreshing.I have some minor plumbing work to do in my house, regarding connecting a disconnected wet bar sink, and there is no doubt that I will be contacting them when the time comes.Col. 3:23, indeed.

    Thank you very much to Nick at Courtesy Plumbing for a fantastic job this morning! Like most companies, we were given a two-hour window for when he would arrive.     Frankie came out on a Sunday to replace our broken hot water heater--he is a master plumber and true professional!     We called Courtesy Plumbing late last night for pricing on roding our main sewer line. She gave an estimate over the phone and had someone out first thing in the morning for us. Frankie was the employee who came and he was so nice and made us feel comfortable. He took care of it and was so respectful. My other half came in shocked saying how a little mess got on our siding and how Frankie had made sure to wipe it off clean. We have this done every 2 years and never had someone take the time to make sure everything was cleaned up like that for us.     Frankie from Courtesy Plumbing is the best! We had a sump pump fail this morning, and searched for a company with good reviews. Within an hour, Frankie was at our house to replace the sump pump. He was friendly and very knowledgable. He even helped us with our humidifier which turned out to be a simple fix, but he took the time to help.     Now a days there are so many terrible contractors out there, but these guys are a wonderful exception. 6 months after I moved into my first home with my future wife our sump pump failed and we got water in the basement. I felt lost because I was new to the area and didnt know anyone to ask for advice. I found courtesy in the phone book and called them in my hour of need. They sent Frankie out right away and I instantly felt comfortable with him. He was honest, and to the point. He didnt sell me the most expensive system or tell me I needed a million things. He told me what he trusts and what he would install in his own home. There were 2 occasions where a minor component failed and it was covered immediately under warranty no questions asked.Since then we also had a sewer main fail in the dead of winter and again Frankie came to the rescue. We had to replace a pipe and it was not cheap but at least I had the piece of mind knowing it was done right and we wouldnt have to worry about it again. Needless to say as long as I live here in Romeoville there is only one phone call I will make for all things plumbing related. Thank you courtesy.
