    An IMPECCABLE EXPERIENCE : I built a new steel garage on my property in July 2023 & needed electric service to install a garage door opener & lighting. I got 5 different estimates. Mr. Electric quoted 6 different options I could use. I contacted Columbus Zoning dept for the application that best served the codes for my area & scheduled the installation. They showed up on time, it was a 3 day job. Tyler Brown was the service technician assigned to the project. His work was first rate, explanations & information regarding the process phenomenal & his customer service exceeded his young age years. On 9/11/23 the city inspector arrived & lauded the quality of the work signing off on the installation. The only negative aspect to this job was one of the now former employees indicated I shouldve been charged more for the size of the project. I brought the inappropriate comment to Tylers attention. He went to his manager & the individual was relieved of his duties. As of 9/12/2023 my overall experience w/ Mr. Electric & Tyler Browns was impeccable.

    Brandon did a superb job installing some new smoke/CO detectors for me.     We just moved into a new house and found out our electrical outlet for our dryer was not working. Tyler came out a few days later and checked the breaker box for us and discovered that the box for that outlet was taken out to make room for other electrical additions since the previous owners had a gas dryer and didnā€™t need it. He was able to get it put back in and the panel rearranged to make everything fit without having to get a new panel or revert back to a gas dryer. Tyler was very professional, knowledgeable, and got everything done very quickly. He did a great job and I would recommend Mr. Electric.

    The customer service was exceptional; from scheduling (which they were able to pencil me in same day) to Ryan, the engineer, who diagnosed the issue as a faulty breaker box that needed replaced. Ryan was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and stayed to ensure everything was fully operational once the new box was installed. Mr. Electric of Columbus is a great company.

    Electrician (Scott) was friendly, on time and identified the problem really quickly. He was clear about what the issue was and how much it would cost. Also was patient and helpful when we called about my home warranty coverage. The only reason Iā€™d give a 4 star versus 5 is because when Iā€™d initially called to set up an appointment the employee on the phone mentioned a ā€œfree estimateā€. I shouldā€™ve asked for them to clarify thatā€¦ because all the other electricians I called mentioned a charge for coming out to your home up front (and because nothingā€™s ever free).Right off the bat you have to sign and agree to pay for them to run diagnostics.Iā€™m guessing that if theyā€™re already at your house, theyā€™re banking on you not sending them away because you just want the issue fixed. So if you call, just be sure to ask about ALL the charges up front for them to come and assess the situation.Overall a great experience with the tech who came to my house. Just wasnā€™t happy about the initial communication.

    This was a remarkable recovery effort by Mr Electric. They missed my original appointment and sent a technician when I wasnā€™t available later in the evening. I spoke with the technician and he was very sorry about the situation and told me he would have someone at the house the next morning. The tech arrived the next morning as promised and completed the work in less than 30min charging a fair price. Recommend if a tech gets stuck and canā€™t make the scheduled appointment time to call and communicate the delay. I ended up calling the office and was told I needed to reschedule for the next day. There needs to be proactive communication from Mr Electric when there are delays.

He was VERY patient, and did all he could to help with the problem. Brandon apologized to me even though it was our card that caused the problem. He is a very nice and very professional young man!     I hired Mr. Electric to take a look at my electric panel. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very out-of-date unit that needed immediate updating along with some grounding work that was necessary for outside my home. Mr. Electric was very speedy to get me scheduled with service the next business day. However, the technician they sent had very little sense of urgency. The technician was supposed to arrive sharply at 9am but did not end up arriving until 9:30 and did not start this very long job until closer to 10am. Although the technician was very cordial and down-to-earth, I never really got a true estimate of how long this job was going to take. Throughout the entire day, I did not get a time update. Mr. Electric did great work to bring my electric panel and outside grounding up to code, however, I would have definitely appreciated better communication about the time frame of the job and a technician with a little more haste. I would recommend them for any future electrical work at your home, however, be prepared with specific questions about job completion time frames.

Itā€™s always seems like it is so hard to try and have a professional come to your home to help with any projects you canā€™t do on your own. But then I started off through messaging via Angies List and received a call from their call center / customer support - set up a callback to get a quote via phone. The next phone call I received was from Mike Carte (Manager) whom listened to the request for a quote, got me a ballpark quote, and provided a high overview on the following steps needed for the 200 amp panel box replacement - including potential timeframe for completion. After a quick site visit, Mike took care of setting up the remainder including the permit. A couple days later Scott Pinto (Technician) arrived and within 3 hours completed the job - replacing the box, clean-up, and ensuring all connections were up/running. The following day there was one more visit for inspection. Overall, I received plenty communications via email and phone (mobile) from Mr Electric to keep me posted on each step. Great service, fair pricing ($1920 parts/labor/permit), and great communication.Knocked one star due to the initial call which in most cases consumers / customers need an guesstimate quote to help them decide if they should proceed (sometimes to even determine if it is feasible within their budget).

I would recommend these professionals to family, friends, and use again myself. They accomplished a large job (swapping out an entire panel), encountered a mice situation I did not know I had (& were very professional in how they told me and handled that) and did it all with a smile, nice conversation, and a great attitude. The job itself looks great, nice and clean and they cleaned up after themselves which is greatly appreciated! Literally cannot say enough positive things about our experience, I hope that the company continues to treat these men well so that they stay happy employees.     I had kind of a mixed experience with Mr. Electric. I honestly choose them because of there online reputation for a whole home generator purchase and install. The Intel initial consultation went well. Everything was explained in good detail and I felt comfortable in making the purchase.After making the purchase I was told that my generator should be in around 2 to 3 weeks. I am a person who likes to stay in the loop with things so I called for a status update on the second week and the sales agent I had been working with seemed to be giving me lots of attitude for calling to check in. I was basically told dont call us we will call you when it comes in.It came in about 6 weeks, and they scheduled the install quickly. The technicians who came out for the install seemed very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, after the install i was told the generator was defective and that they needed to put in a warranty work request with the supplier. The supplier came out a few days later and told me, the generator itself is fine it was just not installed properly. I was told the transfer switch had been installed backwards and they were unable to restore any power to my house until the switch was replaced.The tech from Mr Electric, sprinted off to try to find parts on a Friday to fix the issue that was created by his technicians. He was able to get the issue resolved and the power in general working in tandem after about an hour.Overall, Im happy that everything is finally in a good working state, I just feel like communication between Mr Electric staff and myself could have been better.

    A very knowledgeable respectful young man ED showed up by 8am , after speaking to CS as they responded to my late night online chat for help.I did not check OnTime because I felt they arrived way sooner than expected!Mr Electric literally saved my life and the lives of my husband and fur baby!!I would definitely recommend!!
