Highly recommend Rost Construction! When our water heater broke damaging the floor in two adjacent rooms, Jakob quickly came out to provide an estimate and proposed work plan. He fit us into the schedule, and within a week, we had beautiful new floors (which also were newly leveled). It was a one-person job, and the individual who completed it was highly professional and detail-oriented and he ensured the area was kept as clean as possible throughout the job. I would not hesitate to call on Rost Construction again!

Rost Construction is the best in town! My century old duplex (needing a near-gut reno) came with unique challenges, but Jakob and his team had great ideas with an impressively quick turnaround, despite persistent supply chain and labor shortages. Their design and install helped maximize my ROI, and ensuring the highest rent possible. Some work actually came in BELOW estimate, with a commitment not only to high build quality, but to prompt and impeccable customer service.These guys are rockstars! Will definitely be using again. Just hoping Jakob doesn’t retire anytime soon!

Rost helped us transform a small bedroom into a nursery. They opened up a wall to create a new entryway connected to our master bedroom and came up with an innovative solution for a doorway with a discrepancy in floor height between the two spaces. Great pricing, quality work, and extremely professional. Highly recommend and we plan on using them for future renovations.

Rost Construction is great to work with. They are extremely reliable, professional and committed to doing a quality job. Rost helped us install a 70x35 wood and wire fence around our community garden on the West Side, working with a group of our volunteers. With their expertise and manpower, we were able to get the fence installed in 2 days and it looks great! Weve received a lot of positive compliments from neighbors, and are so pleased with how the project turned out.

Highly recommend ROST for your construction needs. Jacob responded promptly and arrived at our home to discuss our needs (new floor) and provided an estimate. Very reasonable price. He explained what was needed for the job & got us scheduled quickly. Dustin did a great job, cleaned up thoroughly when was done. I will be using ROST for other jobs. Very professional. I contacted many construction companies in the area for estimates on a bathroom renovation job and found Rost Construction to be the most professional, responsive and reasonably priced. Jakob was very busy with many clients but he promptly supplied an estimate right away and agreed to get me on the schedule for about a month out. As soon as the date arrived the Rost crew arrived on time and ready to work. They were even willing to put in extra time on the weekend to make sure the job was completed within the week so as not to leave me hanging with an unfinished project. I would highly recommend using Rost.

Jake Rost, the owner (a very handsome man by the way) arranged for immediate emergency repair of siding that blew off my house. His repairmen were excellent and they did a superb job. Jake returned to review the further repairs that need to be made and is helping us with an attached three season room. He offered many tips and advice and I feel confident in hiring his company to handle all the work needed. I will happily write another review when the work is completed.

Our family had a great experience with Rost Construction. Jacob and his crew removed two rotted and leaking skylights from our family room, re-sheathed, and re-shingled the roof. Painless experience for a reasonable price. They do great work and they cleaned up so well, you wouldnt even know they were there ripping off shingles. I have found it difficult to find a contractor in the Binghamton area to actually show up for estimates and perform good quality work, but Rost Construction will have my projects around the house from here on out.

Hired Rost Construction to completely renovate a bathroom located in an older farm house. They did a terrific job. They installed all new plumbing, added a new shower, redid the electric, built storage shelving, tiled the entire bathroom and installed all the fixtures. I own a commercial office building in Binghamton and I asked Rost Construction for an estimate. Although they were busy with work they agreed. Their detailed estimate was between one-half and one-third of verbal estimates I received from other local construction companies. For a variety of reasons I did not need to proceed with the work, but would happily choose them if I did need work done. Jakob Rost and his company are professional, responsive and knowledgeable people!

My wife Lou Ellen & I have been tenants of Jakobs for 11 years now. Recently, his workers came to take measurements for three separate windows that needed replacement. His office Manager Sarah arranged a time, & they were very prompt. They took the time to get very precise measurements. When they came back with the proper windows, Sarah said they would probably be there most of the day, but they were done in three hours! We are very happy with the results, since the new windows look great inside the existing old frames & sills since they had taken such precise measurements.Thank you, Jakob!

I’m a contractor in Queens, NY, and recently purchased an old nunnery in Binghamton that had been sitting empty for a few years. I needed a local contractor to help me turn it into student housing with 28 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, etc. Rost Construction was the perfect choice. They have not only done great work but have also been a valuable resource in connecting me with other contractors necessary to handle all the different aspects of a big project. I give Rost Construction my best recommendations.

We are so thankful and happy that Rost Construction could take on the repair of our church parsonage that was damaged by a car this summer...Jacob moved mountains to work our job into his very full schedule that was booked ahead for months, bc he knew repairs were essential for safety reasons and before cold weather ...a family of 5 children live there... Rost is lead certified, and took care of any abatement issues, kept the cost of extensive repairs to what church insurance gave us, always communicated with the family, as well as the church trustees, very caring and courteous people..I would HIGHLY recommend Rost Construction to anyone...quality workmanship, good price...I could go on and on!!

We are so very pleased, Jakob and his team are very professional, friendly and accommodating... we had to stay in a hotel for two weeks while they renovated our home, he kept in constant contact, answered all my questions and concerns while being away from my home and even checked and put up my mail. When we stopped over to see how the house was coming along they were very friendly, always working hard and answered all my questions and concerns. They were very meticulous about their work and even went above and beyond to make sure things were to perfection, they left no stone unturned and my house was cleaned up professionally from top to bottom when they were done.
