Very impressed with Jeff’s efficiency and communication. His team came the same day we called and fixed all our issues, in addition to adding some convenience outlets I requested. They came to our house after a move and immediately fixed some electrical issues we were having with our lights, breakers, etc. and even did some elective stuff my wife asked for on the spot.The next day we had a separate issue, and they came out that day, fixed the problem immediately and didn’t even charge us.Awesome people and experience!

Jeff and Woody at Elk Ridge operate one of those rare companies that a person can never say enough good things about. While you may end up paying a bit more then other companies we live in an age where you get what you pay for and I’d gladly hand over a few extra dollars for this quality of service. They have 5 star reviews across the board for a reason.

Very professional, friendly and honest in their assessment. Was able to fix a breaker problem quickly and let me know if I had any issues to give them a call. I cant say enough about Elk Ridge Electric. I called to see if they were available for an EV Charger installation. Jeff responded quickly and was at my home the next day. He was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clear that he was an expert in my situation. A couple of days later, Robbie arrived to perform the installation. He arrived a few minutes early and was very professional. He conducted the work in around 2 hours, cleaned his work area, and left it better than he found it. His work was perfect and looked outstanding. The rates were fair, but I would have paid much more for the professionalism, punctuality, and level of service. If you need an electrician in the Billings area, please use Elk Ridge. I know I will.

I have used Elk Ridge a few times now for home remodeling projects. It is sometimes difficult to find a contractor that you trust to do the work, and also to allow in your home when you are away. I cant say enough about Jeff and those that work for him. All of the work that has ever been completed has been done as Ive asked, and has actually surpassed my expectations. Jeffs expertise and knowledge was appreciated getting the right number of can lights in a large open room, I am happy that I listened to him. I only have compliments for Elk Ridge, I am sure happy I found them and prefer to use them over anybody else.

Jeff and his team are absolutely amazing! Very responsive, punctual, professional, and above all, honest! We decided late in our project to defer to the professionals, and within a few days we had a quote and were on the schedule to get everything done. Woody and Alan arrived right on time and Robbie and Jace came to help: All of the gentlemen were kind, courteous, precessional and very knowledgeable. Weve used Elk Ridge Electric two times now, and I cant imagine working with another electrician. First off, they return your calls (which was refreshing as new home owners!) and we set up a time to review what we would like to have done.Jeff came over to look at our few projects - adding a couple outlets outside, repairing/replacing a few outlets inside the house, and adding a new outlet on a wall. He gave us a very reasonable quote and we got on the schedule the next week.Robbie was our electrician and was fantastic - he was great to chat with, very informative, and he got the work done to perfection. We couldnt imagine how well the outlets we added outside would help with our electrical needs, nor could we imagine how well the outlet that went above the over-the-range microwave would look when installed properly.If you live in the Billings area, theres no better place to call than Elk Ridge Electric.

These guys came out to my home once when I thought I had lost power in a room, turned out just a tripped breaker but it was not easy for me to tell on the breaker panel. Because they were so kind to me that day I called them again when I started noticing a hot electric smell in my babies room. Ended up changing out all the outlets as well as getting advice on trying to make sure other dangers are cleared up like restricted airflow in dryer vent hose.

Elk ridge electric is the most reliable, friendly and professional service we have ever had!jeff came by this morning after i called with him about busted outlet that triggered the heat to turn off. he came over within an hours time, fixed the outlet, had the parts to repair and was so kind. he had mentioned a couple big things they had going on in the office today, much bigger than a broken outlet, and he still made time to come by our house and help us out!i cannot recommend elk ridge electric enough, they’re the best in town! thank you jeff!

I learned about Jeff at Elk Ridge Electric through a friend. Jeff came out and looked at our job, which consisted of numerous electrical issues in our 20+ year old home. When he and his employee came out a few weeks later to do the work, they arrived on time and they were very competent and efficient. The job required one more trip out to our home, 10 miles out of town, to wrap it up but Jeff made sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. Jeff and Woody were professional, friendly, and trustworthy. I will definitely call Elk Ridge Electric again should we need more work done in the future.

I had my first experience with Jeff today. I called Jeff and within 30 minutes he was at my home, just like he said he would be. He talked with me over the phone doing a little trouble shooting, and because of his many years of being an electrician, he had a pretty good idea what the problem was. Jeff came to our home and did exactly what he said he was going to do over the phone. Within an hour he pin pointed the issue and had is resolved. I would recommend Jeff and his company to anyone. He does what he says, and talked with you while he is doing his job, no hidden gimmicks, just a honest contractor.

Had a slight issue with my water heater. No hot water. On instinct I called a plumber but it turned out to be an electrical issue. I had known Jeff for several years from working in management at Home Depot and he was the first and only electrician that came to mind. Jeff had a full day but squeezed us in and got us hot water again. I love the great customer service and the fact that he called back right away to get us in. Elk Ridge Electric has done a couple of projects for us, and we will definitely use them again. Jeff, the owner, strives to create a partnership with his clients. He is very knowledgeable, and he is very careful with his work and educates you on what he is doing and why. He is dependable. He follows through and inspires trust.We a very old house with upgraded electricity. However, we have experienced some problems recently and needed to upgrade to a new level and invest in new fixtures. (Fixtures were bought separately but Jeff installed them). Jeff was very attentive to this project and we are very satisfied with the results. Jeff has a special expertise in light bulbs, and he observed that we had light bulbs with a variety of kelvin ratings. This did not look uniform and did not align with what we needed for our own comfort. We felt we got even more value when he could advise us on what light bulbs we needed to meet our needs, and then buy and change the bulbs. His advice on buying a fan/light combo for one of our rooms was also invaluable. He helped us avoid a mistake. We bought a fan but had no idea what to look for or what we wanted. We ended up returning what we purchased and buying another model, based on questions he asked about what we wanted and sharing some ideas with us. Jeff does not recommend brands but he helps his client think through what they want and what to consider when making their decision. He then does a very good job at doing what is needed - troubleshooting problems, installing new fixtures, upgrading or expanding electrical systems, etc. Above all, he does not overcommit and shows up when he says he will - or calls to let you know if he is delayed. In summary, he is very knowledgeable, he is competent, and he is dependable.

When you typically are dealing with electrical issues, you need someones assistance promptly. I called several electricians in town, and Jeff was the only one who got back to me as quickly as he did. Not only did he try and walk me through the problem over the phone, but when we realized the problem was a little more difficult than we initially thought. He came over and fixed the problem AFTER HOURS the same day! We live in an older home, and our electrical was pretty dated. It looked as if maybe people had come along over the years, and it just caused a ripple effect of problems. Not only was Jeff able to identify the problem, but he also fixed other things that could of became an issue down the road. He made me feel confident that our home was safe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I can’t give enough praise to Cadon at Elk Ridge electric! First off, I got an appointment right away! Cadon was friendly, timely and did more than enough to fix my wiring problems. He gave me many options and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He was quick and efficient in getting the job done and did it while giving me tips on what I should do if I want to try and replace my outlets myself in the future (I definitely think I will leave it to the professionals next time). Prior to calling Elk Ridge Electric (ERE), I had called two other companies. One company never returned the call. The second company answered the phone and promised to call me back within a few minutes. Two days later that company had not called back. I was born and raised in Billings, but moved out of the state in my early 20s. I came back to Montana two years ago to care for a parent. Since moving back to the Billings area, Im dismayed by the lack of customer service in Billings. Mediocre service appears to be the norm. Frustrating. I made an inquiry with ERE via email about getting help with an electrical issue. Jeff(ERE owner) was prompt in contacting me, and he was able to get an electrician out to my home that afternoon. I live 20 miles outside Billings. Woody was quick to diagnose the problem and fix the issue. Woody was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would strongly recommend Elk Ridge Electric. I would give 10 stars!!!

Top Notch Experience!I just moved to Billings from Atlanta. We had a couple of items from our inspection on our house that needed an electrician, and I had a couple of crazy ideas. I called 4 electricians, and Elk Ridge Electric was the only one that called me back and showed up.Jeff showed up on time for our quote appointment, and he took his time to walk through the items I needed. My crazy items....he was very gracious and said that they were possible, but would cost a great deal of money. He was very open and honest about what it would take to do various things to enable me to make the decision.For the items I chose, he sent Cadon to do the work. Cadon was so professional and respectful! First thing, he was 7 minutes early to the appointment. Then, he asked me first thing where he should take off his shoes. Im not picky about that, but I know some people are. He walked through the items with me, and he kept me posted along the way. He made sure to show me the work, and asked if I was happy with how things looked. I WAS! He also cleaned up immaculately. He was a really pleasant gentleman, and he even offered suggestions on some of my other crazy home improvement ideas.I will always use this company for my electrical work!

Jeff is an amazing electrician and business owner! He was the electrician that wired our brand new home, and he put a lot of care and personal detail into the house. He finished his work when he said he would, even coming into work on finishing the project at 6am on a Saturday! We recently experienced an odd issue with a breaker in the house, we called Jeff at 7:30am and he was waiting in my driveway when I came back from dropping my daughter off at school at 8:15!
