Werkheiser is fantastic! I live in Hanover Township and quite a few people in Hanover recommended them - we used them when we first moved into our house 2 years ago. Since then we’ve used them MULTIPLE times for multiple projects- adding fans with lights and switches to all rooms, new electrical box in our basement, upgrading all our outlet covers, putting in new thermostats, etc etc etc. We have always used them and will continue to use them- they don’t price gouge, and they’re fair, honest, quick, and pleasant to work with! We love werkheiser and will continue to recommend them.

I can’t say enough about Werkheiser’s personnel:Jeff (owner), Ried (customer relations) and Field Electrcians-Chris, Steve, Zach and Jake. I call them my “A” Team! Let them know what you need and they can tackle any issues, problems or installations with fair cost. They are very respectful, courteous, resourceful and so helpful. We’re remodeling our basement and adding a half bath. They installed all the recessed lighting with a dimmer switch, moved the dryer receptacle, installed lighting in our basement closet, installed new ceiling fans in the kitchen and a bedroom, installed 2 new outside receptacles with inside switches, installed our new 65” smart TV, which they had to move the thermostat over on a wall we wanted with no wires showing along with the adjustable wall mount, replaced our existing recessed lighting in the kitchen with upgraded ones, replaced broken light switches in the kitchen, installed a recessed light in the half bath with a dimmer switch, and just recently installed a Ring doorbell with a Show. My “A” Team is always on time or even early, they always call ahead to make sure the time is alright. If you need anything electrical or electronically done I highly recommend you call and ask for the “A” Team at Werkheiser Electric.

These guys were awesome. With the most recent store on 6/26 I had lost power and called Werkheiser electric in the morning. I had a branch fall and it fell on some power lines and ripped the power box off of the side of my house. I called Werkheiser, and with everything going on Phil Werkheiser came out, did the estimate and had workers at my house working within an hour. Phil was a nice guy and up front and worked with me on price. They did a great job and with the help of ppl had my power going that. I have already recommended them to other neighbors that STILL do not have power. Im glad I used them because now I have an electrician moving forward.

EDIT 7/2024: Be sure to get a clear, accurate quote before hiring. Weve used their services many times and have been thoroughly satisfied with fair prices, however, we had them replace 2 Ring lights and add a cover to our outdoor outlet and they charged us over $700 for this work! About a year ago we had them replace 2 outdoor outlets and that only cost $200. I was very upset at the huge difference in price and it is making me question whether to use them next time or not, when we felt we were treated fairly before. One of us has been out of work for a while, so I made sure to tell them we needed to keep the price low and asked for a quote. I was expecting something close to $200 like before, and surely not more than $500. This has put us in a very tight spot financially. Deducting a star from my review because I feel we were way overcharged for this work.I highly recommend Werkheiser electric. We began using their services a few months ago when our previous electrician took another job and close his business. They were recommended by a neighbor on Nextdoor who went to high school with one of the electricians. Yesterday, I had what I thought was an emergency electrical situation. It was Sunday, and I didnt see an emergency number listed on their site, so I replied to an email Phil and their general email address were copied on, and Phil called me 5 minutes later. He arrived at our home 5 minutes after that. Thankfully the issue was due to sun scorch on the PVC box for our electrical main and not from an electrical issue. I really appreciated Phils help yesterday. Werkheiser Electric will be our go-to electric company going forward. They did great work the first time we hired them as well.

They had a fair price and completed the work in a highly professional manner. Their entire crew was efficient and skilled. Outstanding professionalism and service. Crew showed up on-time and performed exceptional-quality work exactly to specifications, QCd their work to ensure a proper installation, and left the house looking as good as when they arrived. As a bonus, all of the professionals in my home were relaxed and friendly. I wont call anyone else for my future electrical needs. Edit: Oh, and they came in $400 under our agreed quote. They could have easily left that money in and Id have paid it unquestioningly, never knowing that the job had been a little easier than theyd planned. Instead, they gave me a nice Christmas surprise with a high-character move.

We just had a small job that needed to be done at our son’s apartment. I told them there was no rush and to just let us know when they had an opening. Within the next few days they called and had an electrician over to install a new overhead light fixture. It was just a small job but I appreciate them getting us on the schedule. I would highly recommend Werkheiser Electric a million times over to anyone who wants to deal with honest, kind, dedicated and hard working people. I needed a ceiling fan reinstallation complete with an electrical permit. After being overcharged by numerous other companies on Thumbtack and Angi plus other private companies (their permit charges ranged from $125-$400!), I almost gave up. Then I spoke with Reid or Phil (my apologies for forgetting which of you gentlemen I spoke with first) and was told that they charged for the permit and only the permit ($44.50!). We scheduled a Service Call and I immediately told Phil that regardless of the quote, I was going to hire them because of their honesty. The quote that I received was the best one and Steve and Kadaar did a fantastic job with the reinstall...and dealing with my loudmouthed Yorkie, Breezy. I cannot thank you all enough and promise to use you again should the need arise. I will also recommend you to anyone who needs electrical work done right!!!
