    Our kitchen sink had a blockage and water was backing up into the sink over the weekend. This is our first house and we have never had an experience with a plumbing company before. We called here Monday morning and they sent guys out an hour and a half later. Brian and Logan were very nice and professional. They ended up needing to do a bit more than just snaking out the pipe and they explained it all to us and how much everything would cost. They were all finished after about an hour and fixed us all up. The price for service was great and we got a deal for being first time customers! We will be going to them for all our future needs and will be recommending them to all our friends and family! Thanks again Brian and Logan!

    Absolutely amazing guys!!! We bought a house in 2023 and the previous owner was flushing BABY WIPES down the toilets constantly so when we moved in it was so clogged and the basement flooded they came over in less than 24 hours and snaked everything and cleared it! Now again currently weā€™re having the same issue not as bad though since we donā€™t flush wipes and again quick to come out less than 24 hours and there here working on getting it unclogged again! Super amazing company and I have nothing but good things to say!!

    Samā€™s guys put in a new line for a shower, fixed the drain, and installed a new shut off for my toilet. The guys did an excellent job and cleaned up the bathroom after they finished. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them again. Iā€™d post pics but my bathroom is in the middle of a remodel.

    Owner was quick to come out and check an issue that ended up not being related to repairs the company had made two days before. He even took the time to call the city and have them come out the same day to repair a water meter gasket. Im new to hiring professionals and there is certainly a learning curve to making sure you have documentation when provided quotes, but in the end everything was completed successfully and I am extremely grateful!

    I had called another place who charged me 300 dollars to plunge my drain. I was so frustrated because they didnt get the clog out of the shower drain, but yet told me to just replace the pipe. I called Sams- they answered the first time I called, they were very professional, and had outstanding customer service- thanks to their honesty, I did not have to replace the pipe and they augered it, got the pipe clear and it is working better than when we purchased the house a few years ago. They were so reasonable too. I will only use Sams from now on. Jeff who came out was super knowledgeable and got the job done at a very reasonable cost! Thank you SO MUCH.

    I called them on a fairly snowy day and described how my bathtub would not drain even after several plunging attempts. I didnt expect a same day appointment, but the gentleman on the phone got me an appointment in 2 hours.     Sams sewer & drain service was an absolute savior to me. We had an unexpected plumbing problem with our toilet and were panicked to find the drain in our basement overflowing with water. I called Sam later in the evening and he had a crew out to me within minutes. Sam was very polite, professional and understanding of our situation and had his guys out to us in a timely manner. The crew that arrived (2 guys) were also very professional and did not hesitate to take care of business. After inspecting the problem they knew exactly what needed to be done and did not waste any time for our issue to be solved.     I had an absolutely awesome experience with cody and logan. They came out to investigate a flooding problem. I had and when they left we thought we had everything under control. Unfortunately the next morning. I had a flood again and they immediately came right back out diagnosed the problem and completed the job.Those guys were very professional and I had a great experience.     Shane, was the young man that came out to look and fix my fathers water issue in the basement. My fathers perimeter drain and sewer need to be cleaned out. He explained to me what the problem, which was the disposable wipes and calcium build up. He then gave me a quote to fix it. I explained my father was on a fixed income and not sure if he could afford the service. But then, Shane told me they offer a senior citizens discount. That afforded my father the opportunity to use their service. Shane and his partner were very knowledgeable and professional as well as courteous. THANK YOU.     We had a basement full of sewage, not just high water but the waste itself was a lot. Sam did an awesome job and everything was clean and sanitized. Still smelling good from the detergent.     I had an emergency water pipe break in my basement. I called Sam and he was over to my house very promptly, he assessed the issue and was able to solve/fix my problem within 20 minutes. It required a replacement to a section of pipe in a very tight space. It was pretty impressive how fast he was able to replace the section of pipe and have water flowing through my house again! Very reasonable labor rate and materials cost. Highly recommend Sam for all your plumbing needs.

    On the evening of Friday October 28, 2022 an unknown subject flushed a couple of items down our toilet. After a suspect line-up we narrowed our suspect pool down to one of two five year olds, twins to be exact. After some interrogation we determined more than one thing had been flushed, including a nail polish bottle.First Mommy plunged it (super gross by the way) and then used the auger (just as gross) and still no flush. This had turned into a time sensitive matter with three kids and a husband on various schedules of office use.I found Sams online and spoke with them. They had Shane out here in less than an hour. In even less time he found the object(s) causing all the trouble. Shane was super nice and informative. Also very affordable which was such a relief.

    Called Sam for an old pipe drain issue I had with my basement sink. They came out same day at a time that worked best for me. Bailed the water out of my sink and cleaned up the mess.     Ive had issues with my bathtub not draining properly for years. I expected it just needed a good unclogging, but turns out the trap was in desperate need of replacement. They replaced it and had my tub draining perfectly in no time. They had to remove some of the ceiling boards in the basement to get to it and I could not even tell they had been touched as well! Great service!

    Two days ago we found out a pipe rotted out under are house we called Sams sewer&Drain. He answered the phone right away after hrs told us he could be over in 30minutes. Sam and his son came over and looked at it and gave us a good price. The guys got the job done it was a hard one had to dig to septic box and replace pipe. They had it done in one day and the price was half of what others charge. What a life saver and excellant job done!!

    Logan and Brandon came out at quitting time, and despite a long day they stayed until our big drainage pipe out to the sewer was clear, which only took them about 45 minutes because they worked hard. They pulled out several feet of roots but kept at it until the line was open. They also applied Root X to address the root problem, and then lastly they plugged the clean out valve which a previous plumber had broken and then left open. I will NEVER call anybody else but Sam and his sons for our plumbing problems. Thank you guys!

    Since we bought our house in 2019, our faucet has been dripping. Over time, it turned from a drip to a constant stream of hot water. Plumber after Plumber have told us replacing the part on the faucet was not possible, because the part is no longer made. All 3 previous plumbers told me that the only way we could replace the faucet was to rip up the wall.Yesterday, after 4 years of listening to the sound of that stream of water, I couldnā€™t take it anymore. I called a parts place in Bay City, and Sam happened to be there. After explaining the situation and the part we were trying to locate that isnā€™t made anymore, he mentioned the situation to Sam. Who thought he could help. So, The man at the store put me in contact with Sam and he came over to look at the sink.ā€œSure enough,ā€ he said, ā€œI can replace that.ā€Today, less than 24 hours later, Sam came back and did what every other plumber told me was not possible- he replaced my faucet. Without having to dig up the walls.They use dripping water as torture in war, and I believe the dripping of my sink was slowly affecting my mental health over the last few years of it dripping constantly. If I was having a bad day, the sound of that drip would send me into a spiral. At night, I could hear it dripping FROM MY BED. I was truly going crazy. Not to mention, having a constant stream of water coming from your sink means your paying for all that water.I now- finally- do not have a dripping sink. And I am at peace.Sam the repairman is the best! I WILL be calling him over any of the previous plumbers we have used locally.To some, it might just be repairing a faucet. But to me, this was truly restoring my peace. Thanks so much, Sam!

    Some initial problems with the techs, that caused a bigger problem with my sewer than I started with. When Sam showed up himself, he was able to identify the issue and actually fix it. Not a great experience initially but it got better once he was personally involved. Id recommend, but make sure youre happy with the work done.     In October my sister purchased a home in Bay City, after she moved in and spent the little money she had on new furniture and other things to make the house her home, the sewer started to backup into her basement. I live in Texas so I was only able to help by calling companies in Michigan that I looked up on the internet. I contacted a large sewer and plumbing company and asked for an estimate, they called me back and explained that my sister would need to take down her deck on the house in order for them to get machinery in to dig and fix the problem and the job itself would be extremely expensive. I called SAMS and spoke to the owner who asked for the address and went right over and looked into the problem. Sam called me and explained that he could get the job done without removing the deck and at a very reasonable rate. SAMS also has waited for full payment while my sister has applied for help with the bill from the state of Michigan. Do I recommend this company? Hell yes! Sam is also a great business man who knows how to talk to his clients, shows up when he tells you they will be there and does a wonderful job! They cleaned up after they were done and even replaced the boards on her deck that they needed to remove. If you have a plumbing or sewer issue SAMS is the company to call.
