Zach was wonderful to work with. He did an incredible job installing new tile in our tub alcove. He quickly answered any questions we had. The job was done in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself each day when finished, which was amazing! We are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. We will 100% be using him again for future projects and have already, without hesitation recommended him to our friends and colleagues. His work ethic and workmanship are top notch!

Without a doubt, Zack did one of the best installation and repair jobs we have done in our home. Vinyl flooring installation and trim molding pieces were beautifully finished. Zack was prompt, knowledgeable, hard-working, and professional in every aspect. I would hire him again in a heartbeat for any future jobs we need accomplished.

I highly recommend Zack Minarik, owner of A Cut Above Carpentry. I was in a bit of a situation when his wife Brittany replied to my cry for help on facebook. Our kitchen renovation was 90% complete and the original contractor had quit. I dreaded trying to find someone who would give the last details the attention they deserved. Amazingly, I only made one call. Brittany quickly provided me with contact info from prior customers, proof of liability insurance for their company and scheduled a consultation with Zack. Zack is a breath of fresh air, his work ethic is top notch. He reviewed the status of the project in a professional and thorough manner. His attention to detail, thoroughness, cleanliness and finish carpentry skills were very appreciated and certainly show in my beautiful kitchen.

Zack is awesome. We were in a bit of an emergency - fence piece blew down and our neighbors dogs are good dogs but big and barky so we need to have that fence in place. Zack came over as soon as he was able and had everything fixed by end of day. Also did a repair on a piece that was damaged before and a quick porch front floor fix since he had time. We feel safe to have our little dog and visiting children out in the back yard again. Will hire A Cut Above again without a second thought!

Zack did the build out and finishing work for a fireplace for us. He is a great communicator and has a very high attention to detail. I highly recommend Zach for your home repair and update needs. I needed to repair and replace all of the trim from my home. Zach was professional, timely and thorough. He was extremely helpful in deciding what needed to be done to repair the outside trim of my house and then kept me apprised of the project every step of the way. I will definitely use Zach again.

A Cut Above Carpentry is aptly named. Zack Minarik, the owner, was always on time, responsive to our questions and concerns, and polite. He offered helpful suggestions. Every day he cleaned up after finishing his work. His resourcefulness was evident by cleverly installing 2 problematic medicine cabinets and a vanity into walls that were not square. His attention to detail could be seen in his excellent drywall repairs, painting and installation of luxury vinyl flooring. We would certainly employ him for any future projects. All in all, we highly recommend the company.
