    Hi Lite Electric is an excellent company with electricians that are courteous, professional, and thorough in the work that they do. Including pre-and post engagement with the customer. PS they clean up when they leave the job site !And the management sends you a text message to let you know when they will be arriving and a map showing you their location as they are travel to your location.I highly recommend this company and their electricians! You won’t be Disappointed in any way shape or form. I’m looking forward to bringing them back next spring to upgrade my outside light fixtures.And I am loving my new modern design dining room light fixture !

    Very professional. Came in diagnosed trouble causing issues with light connections out in kitchen, dining room and back patio porch light. Resolved issue by running new line to connect power to each of those areas as well as remedy area that caused the disconnect. He also changed out my front porch light fixture to a new light fixture, as no light connection was there. This resolved my front porch light issue and he ensured connection worked. Cleaned up all areas and made sure areas worked was aesthetically neat and intact! Very pleased with thorough quality and quick service. Highly recommend.

    Our AC and fridge lost power so i needed some emergency help to get them back on.The person I worked with to set up the appointment did well, and the technician arrived in a timely fashion and was able to identify the issue quickly. I was prewarned of a nearly $400 emergency appointment fee; I get it, its the weekend, its short notice, immediate, I understand. What I was not prewarned about until the tech arrived was that the fee for investigating the issue (before labor/materials if it came to that) was nearly double that amount. The issue turned out to be the utilitys problem, but there isnt a way we could have found that out with a professionals help, and as far as I know, it was not the sort of issue that the utility would be able to remotely detect.Maybe its no ones fault, but being out a thousand dollars for 10 minutes of diagnostics really hurts.I stress that the people were courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt, I have no issues in that respect. The fees are excruciating for what my situation turned out to be.EDIT: I was double charged, a fee upfront and the same fee on the invoice. They both resolved the issue and worked with me on it, much appreciated.

    My outdoor Christmas decorations kept tripping the GFCI, or whatever thats called. Austin from Hi-Lite was able to come up with a solution for me, plus fix a couple other electrical problems I had. I also REALLY loved that there was no upselling. Absolutely recommend ❤️

    Hi lite electric just completed a two day job at my daughter’s house in Lockport Illinois. There was storm damage from a huge tree that hit the house and pulled down the power lines and destroyed the power mast and electrical service. A local electrician said he couldn’t handle the job. Hi lite was a recommended contractor on google. They did a fabulous job. They send you notice you can track when they are enroute and their eta. They arrived on the minute. They competed the job on time for a fair price. I world definitely hire them again.

    Let me tell you why I would 1,000,000% recommend them!In March I had an electrical fire in my basement. It could have been very bad, but a pvc pipe carrying water was touching the burning venting material and two small holes were created. The water burst out and put the fire out. Well, how did this happen? Our electrician Jeff worked relentlessly for hours - spanning two days! The second day the owner of HI-LITE, Joe Albert, came along also. I was so impressed by their knowledge and fervent curiosity as to how this fire started. This is what they found out: when the basement was finished, before we lived in it, the electrical panel was jerry rigged to keep the electricity on in the full bath. This electrified the can light. The silver venting material for the fan was laying on top of it and caught fire. Jeff said he was amazed it hadnt happened before! They also found some other electrical issues created by the the shoddy workmanship of the basement electrician. Jeff was 100% determined to make my home safe, and he did! So grateful for the kindness they showed me in an extremely stressful time. With something like this you dont want to feel uncertain about the electrical repairs being made. Scary stuff. But I 1,000,000% trust HI-LITE and feel safe in my home!December 11, 2024Just had Austin here to do some rewiring for my disposal & new UV RO system. He is an example of why this business is awesome! He was kind and knew what he was doing. I felt comfortable through the whole experience. Im so glad I have a business I can trust and not worry about. Ive been dealing with a lot of unreliable, and even dishonest, businesses since the fire. So trust is immensely important. Good job Austin!

    I had to share the exceptional service I received with Hi Lite. I and my neighbor were having a significant issue with our shared meter. Not only did someone come out immediately after my call, but they took the lead working with the City of Batavia coordinating joint inspections, hunting down a hard to find meter, as well as working with my neighbor and I to make this go as smooth as possible.The team kept everyone up to date, and on task. Even after the work was completed and paid for, I received an email from Mike letting me know that the downspout had to be removed to install the meter, and that he planned on swinging by the property to get a temporary fix for that, since rain was expected.Truly, this is a company that cares about their customers.     We hired Hi-Lite Electric for a variety of residential tasks from running in 3 new circuits in the kitchen and garage to installing all new dimmers in numerous rooms. Hung a light fixture on our 9 ft ceiling. I only needed to move a table 3 feet out of his way. He even let me run to Home Depot to get higher quality lightbulbs than the ones in the kit.We had no trouble using our own parts and he patiently explained everything I need to know at each step. No wall damage anywhere. Cleaned up in every room. Showed up right on time. Final cost was right on estimate. I added an item to the order and they came back the next day (on time) to finish that job, too.A+. 5 stars. Were so happy with them that were having them back in the next few weeks to put in some overhead lights in our front room, because when you find a trustworthy electrician, you see new projects in every room!

    I have nothing but good things to say about this company. We had an issue when installing a new hot tub with our existing wiring and with below freezing weather forecasted overnight with water already in the tub, we were worried the pipes would freeze and we would lose the hot tub to frozen pipes. Due to this occuring later in the evening, we were worried we were not going to get same day service but once I placed the service call, they had a technician at our house in less than 20 minutes! I have NEVER gotten faster service from a service company in my life. The technician Jake was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and was able to fix our issue very quickly and was done in under a half hour. Pricing was very reasonable and I would definitely reccomend this company for all your electrical needs! They will definitely be on my list for all my future electrical needs!

    I just completed what many would consider a pretty major remodeling project.     I hired Hi-Lite to handle a three-phase small home remodeling project, in a historic one hundred year old craftsman bungalow home. We had a few different Hi-Lite crews come by for each phase, but they were all amazing. Misael handled the full aluminum conduit installation throughout the whole basement, we also had indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, wall switches, new outlets, and a ring doorbell installed. Hi-Lite was great all-round. Mike was excellent at getting us scheduled and answering any questions we had about the project scope, and the attention to detail was exceptional. The installation of all work was neat, properly done, and quickly completed. It is also worth mentioning that I had bid this project out to a few local electrical contractors, and Hi-Lites quote was very competitive, pricing wise.     I had Hi-Lite perform a ton of work at my home, and had the pleasure of collaborating with several wonderful electricians from there over a period of about a week. Its a true collaboration, they want to know how I want to live in my home, where I wanted lights to dim, where I wanted new lights installed, even which light switch goes where so things are intuitive. They then bring their experience to make it all happen and inform me on options that I didnt even know existed. From moving outlets to installing ceiling fans and dining room light fixtures, to replacing old can lights with new LED trim, they do it all and do it with class. Exceptionally great communication along the way. I get a text when they are on their way and pricing is clear and upfront. They performed some electrical panel work as well, had some breakers replaced, a new box put in, nothing is too complex for them. With this can-do attitude, exceptional service and quality product, Ill be a repeat customer. Excited to expand my smart lighting system too, this thing is amazing!
