    Jarod and Rico of ProMaster Home Repair did a fantastic job of saving our back screen porch, which was in danger of collapsing because of shaky supporting posts. They notched the connections from the two big new posts to the upper porch, and they placed them firmly in metal bases on the concrete slab. Their excellent work included detecting and dealing with a live wire to a dead light fixture (now safely enclosed in a metal can above the middle support on the back side of the porch). I switched off the power to the basement and first floor, and it took them a couple of hours, but it was well worth it. I recommend them very highly!NOTE: The four photos taken when the leaves were green and foliage was luxuriant are “BEFORE” shots, so you can see how precarious the porch was, with a corner post that was bowed and balancing on just two prongs. The photos taken today (December 6, 2024) show the great work that Jarod and Rico did.

    Fred, Mark & the rest of the crew did an excellent job on my new deck & screened porch. They were prompt, very precision, & navigated around the well under the porch with ease. They even created a ramp for my senior dog who could not do the new steps! I recommend these guys to anyone looking for a beautiful, quality outdoor space.

    Dale from ProMaster Home Repair installed a large screen Full Motion TV mount and Sonos Arc. He was great! Very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and we worked together to get the mounting job done. I supplied and cut the wood, he did the rest. I would highly recommend Dale (Mason, OH area) and the company for your Home repair & DIY needs.

    I very seldom write reviews unless I am very satisfied. Dale and Alejandro did a fantastic job for me. Dale was meticulous and both he and Alejandro were very professional. They also were able to think on their feet and solve a difficult job. I had a two heavy chandeliers removed . Dining room chandelier box was moved with flawless drywall repair. Large two story foyer heavy chandelier removed with a chandelier lift installed in the attic and with a new crystal chandelier replaced . They had to use scaffolding the pre existing large chandelier down. Not a common request and they did a great job. Also a significantly lower price than my electricians quote and repaired the drywall in the ceiling which the electrician was going to leave to me. Job finished one and a half days without a hitch. I would highly recommend these two professionals.

    Zach and Jarod installed a ceiling fan and light for us today. We did not have existing electricity to that spot in the ceiling so they also had to complete that part of the job by going up in the attic. In addition, they had to add a switch.They were very professional, communicated with me and went above and beyond to solve problems that came up on the job. Zach and Jarod both have a positive attitude, and they are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable having them in our home!! They used drop cloths to protect our floor and cleaned up when the job was complete. They were even very nice to our foster kitty that wanted to help!I am very pleased with the work and would have them come back again!

    Sean, Adam, and the team did an incredible job on our basement renovation! We wanted to turn our basement into a guest space — and the main challenge was using the limited footprint of the half bathroom and turning it into a 3/4 bathroom. When Adam saw the space, he didn’t immediately say no (like so many other contractors had), and the results are even better than I had imagined.Not only did they work with us on our budget, but they showed up on time every morning and were so communicative when something needed to change or be altered in some way.I’m not exaggerating when I say I won’t hire anyone else for projects around the house. This company is the absolute real deal.

    Top Notch company. Good communications and very knowledgeable craftsman. I did think it was pricy but after what I saw it took to do the job, it was worth it. I had already wasted time and money on 2 other contractors and a 3rd that didnt even show up. Fixing the complex locking system and replacing parts was still cheaper than replacing the doors. Fred was awesome, extremely competent, showed up on time and took the time needed to figure it out and working perfectly.

    After much online research, I contacted ProMaster Home Repair & Handyman to schedule a time for an estimate for a decking to be built as the foundation for an 8x10 foot shed, the resin shed to be unboxed and put together in place, three 4x4s added to the backyard patio for better stability, and clean up of all the boxes etc. Mark was great to work with for the estimate. The two men that came to do the work, Jeff and Gabe, were fantastic. They were both very professional, on time, didnt waste time, their work was superb, and they were nice humans. I have more projects coming up and look forward to contacting ProMaster again!

    A chunk of cement was broken from a corner of the house. Sean not only repair corner with cement but he identified the reason for the problem and repaired that too.He did the job that that he was hired for but went farther and fixed the root cause of the problem.I think that is outstanding.     I used ProMaster to rebuild my large 40 x 20 deck last month. I couldnt have been happier with the job they did. From the first meeting with Mark to give us an estimate through the building process with Mark, Jeff and crew they always exceeded my expectations and did a fantastic job. They were able to work around a very heavy metal gazebo on the deck and a lot of landscaping around the deck and didnt damage any of it. All of the crew was friendly, courteous and hard working, always showing up on time each day and cleaning up after the job. They went above and beyond the contracted work and we will definitely be using them again in the future for other projects.

They are good at contacting you ahead of time to schedule a time that works with you rather than simply assigning you a 4 hour block that they show up at the end of.     I contracted with ProMaster Home Repair & Handyman of Cincinnati to get some woodpecker damage repaired very high up (> 30 feet) on my house along with sanding and painting of peeling paint on fascia boards at substantial elevation as well. The persons that I interacted with at this firm were all very professional, customer oriented, and concerned with customer satisfaction frequently making certain that I was satisfied with the job being done. Now I want to discuss the actual interaction with the employee that made the repairs.The employee (Gabe) arrived at my house at about 10:20 (10 minutes early) ready to start working and make the customer happy. I escorted Gabe to the worksite at the back of my house and showed him both the woodpecker damaged fascia boards as well as the other fascia boards needing sanding and painting. Gabe leapt into action and quickly patched the woodpecker damage, sanded the fascia boards needing painting, and then took a paint chip to match paint at a paint store while the patching compound cured. Gabe later returned with color-matched paint. He then carefully sanded the patched woodpecker damage. Gabe then carefully painted the fascia boards that were sanded as well as the fascia boards that had been patched and sanded. When complete, Gabe cleaned up the worksite leaving no litter behind. He then asked me to review the work he performed and it was excellent.I highly recommend ProMaster Home Repair & Handyman of Cincinnati for home repairs and will probably have some other assignments for them. I also would like to compliment Gabe as being an excellent worker who went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction by performing excellent work. Thank you very much.

    I had water coming in through old and poorly installed decorative trim around a second story window. The job was made challenging by the access to the window being above a very slanted first story roof. Jeff came out and did an excellent job on the unique repair and no water has come in yet! He tied up some other minor repairs while he was out as well. Excellent service all around.

    In July 2021, I contracted with Promaster to refurbish and replace box gutters on my home in Oxford Ohio. They were the only contractor in the Cincinnati area that had a solution to fix box gutters. Adam (team lead) was on time and professional. They fixed the box gutters ahead of schedule and did a good job with finishing and clean up. If you have an older home with box gutters on a curved roof this appears to be a good solution without having to change the entire roof line. I can recommend pro master and Adam as honest and effective service providers.

    Window shutters were falling off my house. I called ProMaster and scheduled a service call in just a few days. My service man came on time, assessed the problem and made corrections that should last for a long time. Mark Yinger was my service man and he did an exceptional job.     Dale removed our old original box gutter and replaced with new one that matched the house perfectly, so it didn’t even need to be painted. He found that the wood behind the gutter was rotting, and he installed a small PVC board to reinforce it, without an additional charge. We will definitely use them to repair the rotted wood now, because I feel like I can truly trust him/them. Dale and his helper were actually EARLY both days they worked at our house! Very professional, polite and hardworking. Never saw either one of them even take a break. Good communicators as well. This is something I’ve had a hard time finding, so I’m really happy!

    Pro Masters are excellent. The workers were kind, patient, personable, understanding, and extremely knowledgable in what they do. They brought up questions on choices that we didn’t even know we were to know about, or ask. They were also great with follow up and returning phone calls. They were there for us from the very beginning through the end of our project, and were extremely patient when I kept changing my mind on things at the last minute. They were always on time and cleaned up perfectly at the end of each day. They always went above and beyond too!!     We had some old wood windows that we needed repaired and we had looked for some time to find someone who could do it. We were so happy to find ProMaster. The work was worth the price - the complicated repairs to our old windows were detailed and completed with care. We actually had another company out to make repairs before ProMaster and it was a disaster, which is now why I can so definitively say that ProMaster did a wonderful job. Our repairman was Chris and we (and our dogs!) felt very comfortable with him in our home. He was accommodating and responsive and did quality work.

    I am not a big fan of the fee to come out for an estimate without it being applied if hiring them. After seeing their work detail, and considering they dont subcontract, I understand why. I doubt theyll be your cheapest estimate, but I believe theyre paying fair wages for great employees with meticulous craftmanship. We had them replace a rotting cellar door and the work was quick and top-notch. Were confident enough in them that even if they cost a little more, theyll remain our go-to company to repair a previous contractors shoddy work inside our home.

    For years we have wanted to get our front door replaced, there were gaps all around it. For a quick and cheap fix we put a storm door on, but the storm door kept pulling out of the door frame (damaged wood). My husband finally found a reasonable quote and we set our appointment with Pro Master. The time of the appointment was 8:00 am, Steve showed up at 7:55. Steve was amazing! The project wasnt as simple as we thought with replacing the frame and the door. The old frame was too wide and adjustments had to be made. Steve was easy going, relaxed, and made us feel like we were in great hands. He explained what needed to be done, he went and purchased the trim and other items, and worked diligently to complete the task. He was extremely professional, and a pleasure to be around. When I apologized for keeping him so long, and having such a complicated issue, he put me at ease and said hes doing his job and that it was his pleasure. It would have been very easy to say, Nope, this project is too big (or frankly too much of a pain) but he had a great attitude and was great. I didnt expect to be so genuinely happy to have a new front door! It looks amazing, closes and seals properly, and is trimmed up to match the interior and exterior of the house.     I was not there but my wife was. She said he did an amazing job while she worked. Never bothered her, and completed the job to such an extent that she never felt interrupted form her interviews she was doing. From the completed side, the walls were flush with the rest of the house and the dust was extremely limited. Given that he did over 15 patch jobs, install a new window and take out 6 or 7 in home intercom systems, he came right on time at 8 and was done at 3. Very quick and no trash left behind. We are extremely happy with the results and the cost it took. Spot on the estimate he gave with no hidden fees or add ones. I plan to call on Pro master again when the time comes for my floors, the rest of my windows!

    I had part of the old aluminum siding on my house that was falling off. After having two other companies come out and tell me that they wouldnt be able to fix it due to how unique and old the underlayer was, I was about to give up.     We were having an exterior construction issue and didnt know who to speak with. We had tried the window people and general contractors with no luck - their answer was always just caulk. Called ProMasters and they sent Chris out to take a look. He spent a lot of time on the ladder going over the problem area and came up with 3 possibilities and suggested we start with the easiest one - caulk. He removed the old caulk and replaced. Unfortunately we had to go to plan B with some structural replacements. Also, unfortunately still had the issue. He suggested that their may be some wood issues and started taking off pieces and did find rot due to a splashing error in the original construction. He replaced the bad wood and we waited until the next big rain. Success. He returned and painted the new piece. He did a great job keeping me informed with proposals that included costs. Was flexible on his scheduling since we were in a rush. Always did a great clean-up job and came prepared to work. His is one business card I will always keep.

    I contacted ProMaster Home Repair primarily because I had been burned in the past with fly-by-night service providers. I had several major plumbing problems (non-standard toilet flushers, cracked PVC going to two outdoor spigots), some drywall and tiling problems on walls and ceiling, and a deck that needed work ASAP. The first contact was courteous, professional, and friendly, and much to my surprise they were very competitive with their pricing.Don and John came out initially to do all of the indoor work, and they were quick, thorough, professional, and friendly, which was important to me since my family was in the house the entire time. The new tile and drywall repair look phenomenal, and Don went out of his way to find a solution for the plumbing issues.The weather did not cooperate with our initial scheduling, but ProMaster was very proactive with letting us know the changes in schedule ahead of time (thunderstorm forecasts, etc.).     I have nothing but praise for these guys. I have used them now in two different homes and had the same excellent service. They have hung lights and celing fans, assembled a baby gate to a round chair rail (not an easy task) and assembled a large outdoor covered patio for me along with several other tasks.     They removed an exterior door and frame work and replaced it with new. They also had to remove part of the floor to replace part of the sub floor because of water damage.     When we had water raining into our fireplace, ProMaster had AJ come out to work on our chimney leak. He did a great job. By sealing cracks in the crown and repointing damaged mortar he was able to stop the water from coming into our fireplace. The work was completed in the amount of time we were told to expect and we hardly even knew he was there. We would definitely call on AJ again in the future.
