Over the last several years, I have had all my painting, both indoor and outdoor, done by Sheldon & Sons. I just had some work done again recently, and as always, the work was absolutely impeccable. The workers showed up precisely on time, they covered up my floors and furniture and were so careful and respectful of my property, they were not intrusive and they left me with no mess to clean up whatsoever. The costs are very reasonable, particularly as compared to other similar companies or, for that matter, private contractors, and the office staff is always pleasant, personable and responsive. And whats most important to me is that the owner, Scott Sheldon, is honest, stands behind his work, and is always accessible if needed. It is such a worry-free pleasure to do business with this company that I dont even consider doing business with another. They have my highest recommendation.

I searched and searched for a quality contractor to remove wallpaper and paint my kitchen. After meeting with about seven contractors, I met with the President (Scott) of Sheldon and Sons. Scott provided an explanation of the process and the length of time it would take to complete the work.The painters, Sam (the leader) and team, were punctual, professional, respectful, and took pride in their work. They went above and beyond my expectation. The team was phenomenal! The crew completed the kitchen in two days and left the area neat and clean. We are in the process of scheduling our next project. We contacted Sheldon & Sons to complete some exterior paint work in order to prepare a home for settlement. We were given a prompt estimate from the company and the work was scheduled in a timely manner. My wife and I traveled from Delaware to Baltimore to meet the painters on the day the work was scheduled. The painting crew was prompt and worked diligently to get all of the work completed that day. They were very professional and made sure all of the required repairs were completed as detailed in the estimate. I would highly recommend Sheldon & Sons for your painting needs.

It was a pleasure to deal with Sheldon & Sons every step of the way. I requested an estimate for my painting project on their web site, and they arrived promptly at the scheduled date and time. They provided me with a thorough and reasonably priced proposal on the same day as their site visit. Sheldon & Sons scheduled the work within one week of my acceptance of their proposal. Amazing Service! Media Star Promotions had some trouble with dry wall cracking and Sheldon and Sons got the job done! Danny was our handyman and did a perfect job. Im the type to ask tons of questions and he didnt mind answering them for me. Danny set his area up and cleaned any messes made. He made sure everything was PERFECT before he left. Even after we saw a place that needed a bit touched up, he came right back to it and fixed it all up. Sheldon and Sons was the best decision we could have made for this job. They showed up on time and the job was done at a great speed. If I could give them 5+ starts I would. There is a before and after picture of one of our major cracks. You cant even tell there was a problem there!!! Will be using Sheldon and Sons for all work around the Media Star Promotion office!

Sheldon and Sons painted our entire second floor (3bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office and hallway) as well as our downstairs powder room and an outside building. Our house was built in 1772 so the walls were in bad shape and some window sills were rotten in spots. Sheldon and Sons were up to the challenge! They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We were amazed how much work they completed each day. The entire project was finished in 4 days! The office staff were wonderful to work with as well. They quickly set up an estimate and then scheduled the job. I highly recommend this company.

Sheldon & Sons were great! We had a hard time finding someone to power wash and stain our rooftop deck - many companies around wont do roof decks. We finally found Sheldon & Sons and were glad that we did! Everyone we encountered was great - extremely helpful and informative. Our project was delayed a bit due to the very rainy spring we had, but the office kept us updated on the status. When they came out to do the painting, Kenny and his team were friendly and polite, extremely efficient, and did an excellent job. The deck looks great!

We are Senior Citizens and must depend on contractors for repair and maintenance of our home. Over the years we have experienced both good, fair, and poor workmanship. We contracted Sheldon & Sons to have two rooms needing some repairs to the surface of the walls and repainted.The workman that Sheldon assigned to do the work in our home , I would rate as Outstanding. We used Sheldon & Sons at various times during the past year as we proceeded with home renovations. We had two bathrooms renovated and painted: most of our 2nd floor painted; and a good bit of our 1st floor painted (including repairs to walls and moldings). We were very pleased with their work, particularly with their customer service. The owner, painters, and office staff have been very helpful and cooperative. We ran into a few issues over the year, and they worked well with our general contractor and with us to satisfactorily resolve these issues. We especially enjoyed meeting Scott (owner) and working with Nancy (scheduler in the office whom we have never met but who kept in close touch with us throughout the process). Danny, the painter, was very skilled, pleasant, neat--and very patient with the many details of our projects. The staff was reliable and trustworthy; we had some work done while we were away, and they were good about keeping in touch during those times and properly securing our home. We definitely recommend Sheldon & Sons, Inc.

Hands down the best painters weve ever had and certainly wish wed found Sheldon & Sons sooner. The crew they sent worked all day, nearly ten hours, in the blazing 90 degree heat. They scraped and sanded our Terne roof until every bit of paint was gone - a feat considering there have been numerous coats since 1925. The final product was as good as it gets and made the nearly 100 year old roof look outstanding. The pricing was very fair and competitive as well, considering the work that was competed.

Sheldon & Sons did a fantastic job on my house in the Stevenson neighborhood. The house had textured ceilings and old wallpaper that had been painted over. Mike, the foreman, brought his crew to give the house a beautiful facelift. I found the crew professional, punctual and eager to please the customer. I called Sheldon & Sons to get an estimate for removing wallpaper in two bedrooms, a powder room and kitchen. The three rooms were also to be painted. After finding the estimate reasonable, I engaged the work to begin. The foreman, Sam, arrived to discuss the details with me. He obtained the primer and paint necessary after getting the information regarding color. Sams crew began the wallpaper remover with no time wasted. The two bedrooms and powder room were prepared on the first day of work. The kitchen wallpaper remover was completed on the second day. On the third and final day of work, the crew did the painting that was required. At the end of the day, the furniture etc. were replaced. I was especially pleased that the crew took extra care to protect my walls, floors, and furniture. They cleaned up each day making my living areas workable.From the very beginning of getting the estimate from Scott, working out the time schedule with Nancy, and meeting and working with Sam and his crew, this experience displayed experience and professionalism. I was very pleased and would not hesitate to use Sheldon & Sons in the future.

We are using Sheldon & Sons for 2 consecutive jobs. The first job was painting the front of my house, mailbox, and front door. I must say that Scott and Nancy were right on the ball with calling me back and getting the job scheduled. The guys that came out were punctual and very pleasant. They did a precise and clean job with the painting and answered any questions I may have had. Nancy calls every day after the job has been completed to make sure things went well and if there are any problems to let them know and they will be happy to straighten it out. All in all Ive been very pleased and look forward to Sheldon & Sons finishing the final job of painting the remainder of my home probably in the fall when its cooler.

I used Sheldon and Sons to paint my townhouse before putting it on the market. They did an excellent job painting the exterior stone (no easy task) and gave me great warranty on the work. The workers were courteous and showed up on time, which coincides with the overall good quality I expect when undergoing a major home project. The house looked great when the job was done and I have no doubt helped contribute to the speediness in which I sold my townhome.

There were a few areas where the dry wall repairs were still visible or had cracks after the paint was applied, and they offered us a discount to remedy this. Overall, great company to work with.

They communicated very well about the delays with the city permits. We love the way the house looks. They also stained our fence and back deck as well. It looks great!

Sheldon & Sons Inc. were able to accommodate our schedule and got to work almost as soon as Evan had given us the estimate. Finding a reliable painter is so hard, and to find a group as professional, timely, courteous and good at what they do is really rare. I cant recommend Sheldon and Sons highly enough. They did the job extremely well, on time and for the price they quoted. They were onsite when they said they would be and they did what they said they would do. Sheldon and Sons recently painted the front of our rowhouse in Baltimore. They did an excellent job on all fronts.Regarding the work itself, the paint job is excellent. The front of our house is formstone, which as you may know is very porous — so it soaks up a lot of paint — and shaped irregularly — so its much more difficult to work with than a flatter surface like brick.The painters took their time and the results speak for themselves. Passersby — people we dont know — have actually complimented us on the houses new look.We had good experiences with every S&S employee we dealt with. The main painters were Noah and Jose, who were both friendly and professional. They showed up on time, carefully set up drop cloths, etc., and took their time to get the job done right.Nancy, in the front office, was exceptional. We first approached S&S about this job over a year ago. For various reasons, we kept putting it off, including the need to get approvals from the neighborhood historical society. Nancy patiently stuck with us the whole time, calling to check in periodically, always friendly and helpful but never pushy. Ive never known a vendor who was so patient.I felt that their pricing was very fair. We shopped around and S&S had the best price. They also discussed options with us that could raise or lower the price, and we selected the one that worked best for us.We selected S&S based on their professionalism. We would highly recommend them based on their customer service, price, and results, which were exceptional across the board.

The estimate process was quick and easy. Scott came out, took some measurements, and responded with the estimate soon after. We changed the work order to reduce the size of the job, and they were nothing but accommodating. They scheduled the job within a couple weeks, and on the day of, the team that came to paint was on time. They worked quickly and well; finished product looks great. Except for a handful of paint specks on a glass door, which came off easily, furniture and floors were well protected.

I was so impressed with how fast they were able to get to my project. I was kind of on a time crunch, but because I didnt have any furniture in my house they were able to be flexible. Their team finished my entire house, first & second floor, two bed, 1.5 bath, in one day (8:30am-4pm).I was even able to go to work while they worked.The only things I noticed was that there was some left over painters tape on some surfaces and some paint on light switches and outlets. But nothing that wasnt a five minute personal fix.Would definitely recommend for simple interior projects.

From there you schedule with the ladies in the office who are also professional and very friendly. The painter wasOn time which is a pet peeve of time and finished the work in two days. We recently decided to freshen up several areas of our home. After we prepared a work list of the items we wanted to do we contacted Sheldon and Sons to do the work. It turned out to be four days work for two painters. The men arrived on time as scheduled and were very professional and courteous. They arrived in the morning, worked very effectively and efficiently all day, cleaned up and left at the end of the day. The experience was very good and professional. I want to specifically call out an issue where we noticed that the paint had not covered the walls in one of the rooms leaving a view of the old color. After a brief discussion with the owner, he scheduled for someone to come out and repaint the walls. Now that room looks as good as the others that the team painted.Very pleased with the professionalism and willingness to correct the issue we found.

I had unfortunate damage to a wall in my kitchen that required repair to the wall itself and then paint. Sheldon & Sons was one of three places I called for estimates. Sheldon & Sons was the lowest estimate, far below the next cheapest one. Given the very low estimate, I was hesitant about what sort of result I would get. The finished product was spectacular. The wall looks good as new. The man who did the work arrived promptly and worked quickly. The total cost was exactly what the estimate was. No hidden charges or fees. I hope to paint the interior of my home in the near future and would absolutely hire them. Sandy is the employee I dealt with and she was great. Top notch all the way around.

My wife and I hired Sheldon and Sons to paint four rooms in our house and were so pleased with the entire process. We scheduled the initial visit online and it could not have been easier. Scott arrived on time and turned a proposal around quickly. We added some items after accepting the proposal and they were very accommodating to those changes. Painting began within a week and took two days. The crew at our house was very friendly. Our foreman would text updates through out the day and was very easy to talk to.
