We just had our house insulated last month by 316 Insulation. Our home has a large walk-in crawl space which had been insulated with old fiberglass batting held-up by chicken wire. It was a mess. All of the old insulation and chicken wire was safely removed and then replaced with 3 inches of spray foam and our pipes got wrapped in insulation. The entire job took two days. I recommend not being in your home when the spray is being applied!Once completed the crawl had 6 to 9 of more clearance space (makes a big difference) along with the advantage of removing places where rodents would nest (droppings everywhere).Overall Im very pleased with 316 and their work and recommend their services. Kent (owner) and all the employees we worked with were courteous and professional. Wed work with them again.FYI.....We got bids from four different companies.

Excellent company and service! They were my third estimate for spay-foam attic insulation. They were a 1/3 of the most expensive bid and the estimator spent the most time in my attic taking pics, measurements and any other needs. All other estimators spent 45 seconds just poking their heads up. Also the installation was on time and very professional! Highly recommend!

Starting from the beginning I had a great experience getting my detached metal garage ceiling and partial wall insulated. Travis was the salesman very thorough and direct. He worked with me and tailored the work to my budget with 3 bids on the job 316 wasn’t the cheapest but the most competent.The install crew were professional and seemed excited for work a clear sign that their employer values them and takes care of them. They protected my property and spent a lot of time doing prep wrapping everything up in plastic. The foam appears to be even and sprayed cleanly.Very happy with the work

My wife and I recently hired 316 insulation to fully redo my crawl space and attic in our first home. Working with them has been outstanding and I can’t recommend them enough! The company is a family owned business and they treat you like family in the best ways. I had a few quotes in the jobs they performed and they had extremely fair pricing, great communication, and educated us on the services provided. I want to give a special shout out to Matthew one of the contractors that was at our job site every time. He was extremely professional and a very hard worker. On the last day of work they identified one area of concern and are performing a follow up inspection to verify everything is good. These people really stand by their work and what to make sure it is done properly which I respect!

Excellent work and communication throughout! The crew kept everything clean and really got into every crevice to spray down mold killer and foam seal. I have a recessed ceiling with very little access space and they got all the way in the back of the ceiling to seal around my chimney that had some big gaps and was causing all kinds of issues in my attic. I got 3 quotes and they were also the best value of the 3!

They offered financing, which is rare, and also let me reschedule for a month later. Its been a couple of months now since the insulation was installed and the results are better than expected. One of the primary reasons for adding insulation was to reduce how our house heats up during hot summer days. We have definitely reduced the use of of our AC and expect lower heating bills this winter.

In October, we were having some rodent issues because one vent had not been secured (discovered because of new deck construction). This was a hard area to reach in the crawlspace. 316 came back out and re-cleaned the crawlspace at no charge and made sure everything was ok down there! This was a HUGE relief and we so appreciated their help and immediate attention to the problem. Id recommend their work to anyone and would hire them again!

Even though they have an almost perfect rating (someone chose to leave a 1 star review because they didn’t like the way one of their employees was driving), I’d initially hesitated calling 316 Insulation because I felt I was outside of their service area. I’m so glad I called.I called on Friday, Aug 12, and they had Jamie out at 10am on the following Monday. She arrived right on time. She asked what prompted me to call and I explained that we’d replaced the roof recently and the roofers recommended we have someone come look at the insulation. Told her we had never done anything with the insulation since moving into the house in 2005. I also let her know we’d had one other contractor give us a bid.Jamie went into the attic and was back out in about 20-30 min. Our blown in insulation had obviously settled over the past 2-3 decades and, at best, had an R value of 19-22 overall. There were numerous spots with little to no insulation. One can light wasn’t IC rated so that explained why there was no insulation around it except there should have been an insulated cover over it. There other areas were where someone in the past had moved the insulation to perform work and had not put it back properly. Some of that was the roofers putting in new exhaust vent hoses for the bathrooms, but not all of it. Jamie went out to her van and about 15 min later we had a quote.The quote was less than half of the other contractor! One big thing was that the other contractor said they needed to remove all of the old insulation but Jamie didn’t think that was warranted. The roof had leaked, and it did wet some of the old insulation, but Jamie felt that it was localized so only that needed replacement. That was the only difference in work scope between the contractors. The other highly rated contractor’s quote was $7,300. 316 Insulation did the job for less than $3,000!After accepting the quote, they were able to schedule the job 2 days later on 17 Aug at 9am. Once again, they showed up right on time and went right to work. There were 2 workers; Jessie and Mathew. I think the lead was Jessie. Both were extremely polite and professional. They’d estimated the job would take 5 hours and they were literally pulling out of the driveway at 2pm. I looked through the attic after they had finished. Theyd performed all of the work exactly as promised, including a good cleanup of their work areas.Overall, I’m completely satisfied with 316 Insulation and will recommend them to friends and family. That definitely means I’d recommend them to you.

They cleaned out the old remnants of insulation and spent the morning installing new insulation and sealing our crawlspace. I went to the trouble of getting 5 quotes for my crawlspace, including cleaning out all rat messes and debris, seal (against rodents), insulate the floor joists, insulate the air ducts, new plastic, and insulate our water lines.Kents quote was 25% lower than everyone else, his communication was faster and more consistent, and his professionalism was a cut above. The other companies were fine, but Kents service was just better.Ive already recommended 316 Insulation to three people, just in case they need anything. If I had another crawlspace that needed work, Id skip the estimates and just go w/ these guys.Just in case this review sounds canned, its not. Im just a very satisfied customer, and Id love to help these guys get new customers however I can. If you go with Kent and his team, you wont regret it.

The guys showed up and got right to work. I was pleased that they laid down plastic all the way from the front door to the attic space. Including making a tube for the ladder and hose to be in so no insulation made it’s way to the carpet. They refilled all the missing insulation from the storm that was wet.Only slight negative was one of the guys deciding to take a smoke break in the driveway only 10-15 feet from the open front door. I always do appreciate companies that maintain a smoke free atmosphere both internally and externally out in front of the customer! I work with contractors all the time as a Realtor and I have to say this is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. When my house sprung a leak all of my insulation got wet underneath my home. I called a couple of companies to dry out the insulation and reinstall. I was worried as it can quickly turn out to be moldy if left unattended. The results were not good with the other insulation companies one person never called me back and the other one couldnt get back to me for a few days. When I called 316 insulation the office person was warm and friendly and was genuinely concerned about getting me taken care of. They came out that same day and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable and started the work the next day. 316 was concerned about getting the job done right away and they took care of business! You dont see that very often. I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone that I meet. You just dont see good customer service like that anymore. If you are in need of insulation among other services they perform I would definitely recommend you call them first.

My positive experience started with Janae, who answers their phone. She was so friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with. Then our experience with Kent, who came out for our estimate, was also very positive. I wasnt there but my husband said, I like this guy better than the first company because he found more stuff we need to fix. We then got our estimate in a very timely manner, which I greatly appreciated because we were crunched for time. The quote was about 40% less than the first company that gave us an estimate and the whole quote approval / scheduling process was so very well executed. I met Kent and his sister Jamie when they came out to do the work and they were extremely hard working and very attentive to details. They totally cleaned up after their work. I very highly recommend 316 Insulation, who was recommended to me by my realtor. I really like supporting small businesses and 316 Insulation is actually a family-run business. Long story short, four years ago I had insulation problems due to plumbing leaks. This past year I had a great deal of water damage in my kitchen and crawl space. I called the company Id had 4 years ago to come replace the insulation they had done 4 years ago. Left 4 messages over a period of a month. Never heard anything back from them. My son suggested I call 316 Insulation, as hed heard great things about them. I called, they made an appointment, came out the next day checked things out, gave me a bid; I accepted, I had my new insulation within a week of making the first call to them. Fabulous people to work with. Highly recommend them.

A huge THANK YOU to 316 Insulation. We had a large project that they completed for us last year that was done on time, on budget and the jobsite was left clean. They did not have the lowest bid and we paid the extra bit because the project from start to finish was done correctly. Last month, we had a major roof leak during a windstorm that required a large amount of insulation replacement and new black backing installation. Again, they came through on budget and squeezed us in so that we did not have raw wood in our recently remodeled showroom. These people are fantastic! Their pricing is more than fair and the staff is courteous and professional-thank you again.

It is rare that I am so excited about a local contractor that I feel the need to tell the world, but Kent Spies from 316 Insulation is likely top 3 contractors I have ever worked with. Not only is he on the ball, he is also reasonably priced, reliable, and does great work! On top of that, he is one of the most generous people I have met in the industry. If you need insulation work done, or your attic or crawl need some work, I HIGHLY recommend them!
