Jason and his crew built a garage with office space in our backyard this year and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! They managed to timelines and budget, listened to us and adjusted the design to meet our needs, explained options and their budget impact clearly, kept the backyard tidy while building, finished with great landscaping and the end result has transformed our space. As icing on the top, the crews they used were all highly skilled and really pleasant to have around. A retired neighbor even commented that if he goes back to work ever, he wants to work with Conscious Construction because every time he walked by they were having fun and building faster than he had seen.

Our experience working with Kelly and Jason was amazing from start to finish. From the very beginning they were so thoughtful and thorough with the planning and design process and really dedicated to designing/building us a home that truly worked for us and we would love. The construction process was also so smooth and they were open with communication the whole way through. All of their subcontractors were great too and everything was coordinated so well. They were right on with the budget and timeline, which is something that you never hear! In the end our family ended up with the our dream house and we had the pleasure of working with some truly kind and genuine humans along the way. If you are thinking about working with them just do it!

Jason, Kelly and the crew have been amazing! We are so happy with our ARU! They really took the time to work with us from design to finish. Our project was completed on time and under budget! All of the subcontractors were incredible! A special thanks to Amy for the constant attention to detail and hard work. We have loved working with Jason and Kelly and every single person on their team. They are all unfailingly friendly, happy to answer questions, masters of their craft, and great communicators. We are thrilled with the detached office they built on our property. The design is elegant, the finishing touches are beautiful, and the price was extremely reasonable. I am so happy we found them! I cannot imagine any design/build team being better. We had never had anything more than small remodels done before, and they really made the process quite enjoyable. And when they were done, they took care of all sorts of projects in our main house, again, for a very affordable price, which was wonderful, and saved us from having to interview contractors of unknown quality on our own. Conscious Construction: Consummate pros, and just plain nice folks.

Jason and Kelly created a perfect solution to a challenging backyard deck remodel. They took a lot of time to think about our aesthetic, lifestyle and structural needs and came up with a design that was better than anything we had been previously considering. They were easy to communicate with and even came in under budget! Fantastic design-build team and just all around good, responsible people. We highly recommend them!

Jason and Kelly were great to work with. While building our office/studio, they put up with up with our changing vision and particular taste. They were generous with their time and did everything they could to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Their rate was quite reasonable for such a custom job, and they went out of their way to save us money any way they could. Im very happy with the result and process. I would recommend Conscious Construction Design Build to anyone who is looking for creative design and quality construction.

Jason and his team did a great job building our cottage in Ashland. Craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen throughout our home (inside and out) and Jasons communication prior to construction and throughout the build was excellent. The house was finished on time and on budget. Also, a shout out to Kelly who was able to help us with a few design details with which we were struggling. Thanks again!

Conscious Construction is fantastic to work with. We live in town on an average size city lot and were able to build a small home for my parents in our backyard. Jason and Kelly were able to work with a small space and create a home that feels both open and spacious. They are efficient, knowledgeable and communicative. They helped walk us through the process every step of the way and there were no surprises. I truly can’t recommend Conscious Construction highly enough.

We hired Corey from Conscious Contractors to replace the front and back entry doors on our 100 year old SE PDX cottage. First, Corey helped us pick the right doors and made excellent recommendations. Then he and Shawn did a great job on the installation. Being that its a quirky old house, it was not the kind of job where you just pop a new door in and call it good. Luckily, the guys from Conscious Contractors are expert carpenters and they made the new doors fit perfect. They are beautiful and the house is way less drafty now. My wife and I would recommend Conscious Contractor without reservation!

I was lucky to work with Conscious Construction on building a new cottage and the landscaping of my multi-family rental property. Jason and Kelly took the time to site the new cottage in a manner that complemented the rest of the rentals and overall property. Before and during construction they guided me on design decisions, offering alternatives that kept the project in budget but ensured the final project exceeded expectations. The project included new utilities, and they did their best to work quickly and avoid impacts to current tenants. I had a high level of confidence in Conscious Construction, which allowed me to take care of family issues that came up without having to worry about what was happening during construction. (A luxury!). They communicated regularly about progress, any construction decisions that needed to be made, and the schedule. The final product was a fun, beautiful, well-built cottage. It was a pleasure to work with Conscious Construction and I hope I have the opportunity to do so again.
