SJO electric really help me out with the wiring. We had aluminum wires, I had problems drawing the cable amount of electricity out put. Due to the wiring being aluminum. Sjo came in and changed out the plugs and didn’t even need to pull all the wire definitely helped with affordability highly recommend to everyone!

I have used SJO on a slew of projects; remodeling, panel upgrades, additional outlets, Lighting installation, etc. They have always been very responsive, including a same day visit for an emergency at one of my rental properties. Their billing is fair and better than other bids I have received and I know that my homes will be safe, which is most important as a property owner. Ed is amazing and can figure out the best way of working with the tricky electrical Ive found in some of the older homes in Denver. I highly recommend this team.

I have used Ed and his team at SJO several times over the years. They have always been prompt and have done very professional work. Ed is very easy to discuss our projects with and offers ideas and alternatives that can save money or do the job better.We just completed a remodeling project that required the electrical work to be done in stages. SJO was alway easy to schedule and they showed up on time. This really helped with keeping the other trades on schedule. I highly recommend SJO electric.

Ed came out and was great! He didnt say I was crazy when I explained my very bizarre issues with old wires. He did figure out that it was an issue outside of my home and not internal - he called the power company and had them right in to fix it. He also had great recommendations for lighting and will be back to implement them as well.

Awesome company to do business with. I had several other companies come out to give an estimate for upgrading my service. ED came out from SJO and was the only one to point out several items that the previous estimates had missed, including needing a second grounding rod as well as a ground to the water line to meet local code. As he explained, SJOs price was slightly higher, but the other companies would most likely need to add these charges on during the install bringing their estimates in line with or above the SJO price. When the crew from SJO came out to do the work, they were quick and efficient, even going so far as to relabel the electrical panel so that I would know what breakers went with what areas of the house. I have had them back several times to do some additional work and have been more than pleased with the people and quality of service they provide. I would highly recommend SJO to anyone needing electrical work done.

Todd and his team are an invaluable resource! I contacted Todd about an issue my mother was having with a smoke detector. Someone from Todds office reached out to my mother right away. They then proceeded to rewire a smoke detector at reasonable price. They were quick and efficient!

Ed and his team are fantastic! While we were under contract for a house, he wasn’t able to come by to give us a quote in our limited time frame, but used our inspection report to provide rough estimates that we were able to use to negotiate a lower purchase price. His team replaced the knob and tube wiring in our attic, added new outlets, repositioned recessed lights, and replace our main breaker switch. They did so with very minimal demolition to the lath and plaster walls. His team was professional, quick, and friendly, and they performed their work at a fair price.

We asked for recommendations from our neighborhood HOA website when we needed electrical work done and were told about SJO. We have subsequently worked with Ed and his team to do extensive electrical work at our house on multiple occasions including installing a new electrical panel, new lights, switches, adding new circuits to add power to our garage and quite a bit more. I have worked with so many contractors over the years and SJO is one of only two that I have NOT regretted hiring. Ed has given us great advice on the work we needed done, including telling us the most cost effective ways to accomplish what we wanted to do. The team of electricians is friendly, careful in their work, always on time, performed the work properly in a timely manner and delivered what we wanted. The price has always been reasonable and well in line with what competitors charge. I feel very confident recommending SJO. I will hire them every time I need more electrical work.

I had a number of outlets and a light fixture go out at a rental house and the tenants had just had a baby so I needed to get power back on quickly. After calling a number of places and receiving estimates including convoluted charging schemes and response times on the order of days to weeks I found SJO. They had a technician who was available immediately and had reasonable rates with no emergency fee, no outrageous minimum charges and they were willing to talk through the plan to diagnose and repair in terms of what would be charged etc... The technician (Joe) was able to quickly diagnose the issue and hunt down the culprit (loose neutral wire). He kept in touch with me throughout the process so I never felt as if I was being taken advantage of. The summary: the circuit was repaired, tenants got power back, I paid a reasonable fee and SJO gained a return customer due to the efficiency and integrity of their service.

SJO Electric came to my house because I wanted them to give me an estimate to replace the entire electrical in my house (because I was previously told by someone else that it needed to be done).Todd came over and looked at my electrical system and told me the issue I was having (for which I was told I needed to rewire the whole house) wasn’t caused by my supposedly too old and bad/unsafe electrical system.He told me instead that the electrical system I have is actually good and doesn’t need to be replaced.I was really surprised at this and I can’t say how much I appreciate SJO and Todd’s expertise and time! Overall it is quite uncommon (unfortunately :( really uncommon) to find an honest electrician...now I know I can trust SJO.SJO just became my electrical company and I am certainly going to recommend SJO to anyone in need of some electric work.
