    I just finished doing a new roof because of a bad hail storm with D. Bassett Roofing. Dealing with this kind of thing and insurance is stressful. Working with Don Bassett was not stressful. Don is what you might call a straight shooter. You dont hear that term much these days but Don really is. I have worked with him for over a decade. He is an honest businessman who does good work. I dont hesitate to recommend D. Bassett Roofing & Renovation to anyone.

    I had some damage to my roof by a raccoon. I called on Don who had previously worked on my roof w/ GAF Weathered Wood in 2015 which his crew did an awesome job then, I have no doubt the repair work will be just as great… I was right. He sent out Dan that afternoon I had called and was able to schedule me in the next day. Thought I’d share the photos of the before w/ the damage and after w/ the repairs w/ the Quad Sealant to keep everything watertight. I was glad to see the shingles haven’t aged much. Thank you again for getting this completed so quickly and affordable, Don and Dan!

    Ive used D. Bassett Roofing for two separate repairs on my roof. One five years ago when a valley started to leak and recently when we started having a leak around the chimney. Both times they were fast, courteous, price competitive, and performed high quality work. Each time Mr. Bassett called and stopped by personally to see if we had any questions or concerns, and made sure we were happy before providing an invoice. Its nice to have a local company I can trust to do good work, stick by their services, and provide a personal touch to make customers know they matter.

    D. Bassett Roofing & Renovation Co. put the first roof on the house that my wife & I built in 1995 in north Arlington. We had gotten several bids back then and we found that they were the best value, most honest and most professional. Forward to today, our roof had been great in spite of Texas brutally hot summers and hailstorms, but with the accumulated hail damage over the years we decided (along with our insurance company) it was finally time to replace the 29-year-old roof! Again, we chose D. Bassett Roofing to do the work, and Im here to report that nothing has changed. We experienced the same knowledgeable, honest & experienced workmanship that we had seen back in 1995. They also worked with our insurance adjuster providing pictures and other data and even met with him personally. In addition to the new roof, D. Bassett replaced our gutters & covers, repaired several window screens and painted two rooms, and everything was completed quickly and to our satisfaction at very reasonable prices. In conclusion, my wife & I cant recommend them enough for roofing & remodeling work, so they continue to earn 5 stars in our book!

    Don managed a large remodel for us. Replaced floors, redid bathrooms, added butler pantry, paint in every room and cabinets. The entire project took about 6 months. Don Bassett has done both full roofing jobs and minor storm repairs for us for many years - he is honest and has the most competitive prices. Our most recent visit was due to a leak from the storm 12/21/ 2023. Even this close to Christmas , Cesar and Alberto showed up within an hour and put up a tarp to seal the leak. They returned the next day with the matching shingles and finished the repair. We are very impressed with the quality of their work and their attention to detail.     D.Bassett Roofing replaced my roof more than 5 years ago. Don came out himself to talk with me and put together the bid. I had some unusual items I wanted done and he had no problem incorporating them into the job. The job was done on time as promised. As all new roofs are prone to do, it had some minor issues but Don was extremely responsive in addressing them. He even went so far as to fix an issue even after the warranty expired. If you value honesty and integrity, look no further and give Don a call.

    When I noticed roof damage and granule loss I contacted three roofers for inspection. One of them was Don with D. Bassett. He was the only one who told me that I was not experiencing hail damage but rather significant blistering from a shingle defect. Instead of pushing me to file a homeowners insurance claim like the other two roofers, Don walked me through how to file a shingle defect warranty claim with the manufacturer. He walked me through next steps and the entire process with processing the warranty claim. Fast forward several months later, I received full coverage and compensation from the manufacturer for a completely new roof all because of the time and effort from Don. He helped me get this roof covered. Whats more, the quality of work was exceptional. His crew was professional and did great work. I would suggest D. Bassett for anyone who is looking for an honest roofer who is going to give you what you need, no more and no less.

    We contacted Don at D Bassett roofing because a friend had them build a cover over their back patio. Don came out, talked to us about options for our patio cover and then gave us time to think over what we wanted. We contacted him a few weeks after our discussion, he gave us a quote and the date they could start as well as what to expect on day one. The quote was written so that we knew exactly what to expect and left nothing up to interpretation.He and his crew showed up, he reviewed what we should expect on day one. The crew was professional and cleaned up ever evening before they left. During the process I decided I wanted to add an additional electrical outlet, I contacted Don to discuss and we were able to add an additional outlet to power solar shades. Even with our addition the crew finished on time and we couldnt be happier.During the process we had multiple questions and Don was always willing to answer and explain and never made us feel like our questions were unwarranted.I would definitely use D Bassett again when I am ready to do the renovation of my kitchen and bathrooms.

    D Bassett Roofing is an excellent choice for any of your roofing needs. I have used them 2 times for roof replacement because of hail. They work well with insurance and do quality work. Just recently, 3/8/21, we had a branch puncture the roof and decking. They came out right away and fixed it before any rain.

    We contracted with Don for multiple projects to refresh the exterior of the house: roofing, siding, fascia/soffit replacement, paint, and gutter replacement. His framers and roofers replaced a number of rotted wood studs and some rotted roof sheathing. He put up with multiple questions and change orders during the process without the slightest complaint, and his painter put up with a number of changes during the painting process, even going beyond the scope to fix some aesthetic issues. Don himself dropped by the job site regularly and even fixed a few issues that weren’t his responsibility. The house looks much better now, and there’s no longer holes in the roof for pests and rain to get in. I would definitely use them again if I ever had another project.

    D.Bassett Roofing and Renovation has done an incredible job on our roof/fascia/solar venting. D.Bassett helped us navigate our insurance company who were reluctant at covering the damage. He is consistent and honest. The solar vents drastically dropped the temperature in our attic. The team did an amazing job and our new roof is Stunning!

    I had my roof replaced a couple years ago and the roofers installed the incorrect vent cover for the dryer. After some time the vent became clogged with lint. Don replaced this cover with the correct vent cover and cleaned out all the lint from the duct. He was easy to work with, efficient, good installation and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend his company to others.

    Don Bassett Roofing was very professional when doing the inspection on my roof and had pointed things out that 2 other company failed to mention as well as gave a more affordable bid to do replace my roof and his crew did an excellent job with replacing the roof and th cleanup was so clean I couldnt even tell they had been here. 5 stars for Bassett Roofing. Great job guys.
