I am very pleased with the service. The first visit was short: Evan Valentine came and found out that he didnt have the right breaker. So he gave me a very reasonable cost estimate and scheduled a second visit a few days later. The next time he arrived on time and did the job quickly and thoroughly. I would highly recommend this company and Evan personally.

AJ Long did an awesome job running wires to new sconces and installing several new fixtures in our house. Mr. Long came in and set up material to keep the work area clean and was extremely efficient. He introduced his co-worker, was done quickly, cleaned up so it looked like he was never here. and with left us with perfect results. And his price was about quite a bit less than another quality electrician had quoted us for this job. Hell be getting a call from us for any future work we need done. Highly recommended!!

AJLE helped us with a very long and complicated list of electrical fixes around our 30 year old house and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend them for small or large jobs.When we moved in 3 years ago our electrical was… weird. Not unsafe, but complicated and a jumbled mess. So getting just one outlet added or swapping a light switch for a smart switch was either impossible (like they would bill me but not be able to finish the work) or get very expensive. We wanted it all fixed (no more crazy extension cords in the utility room, no more gfe going off randomly), to upgrade several items (smart switches), replace others (bathroom fans), and get a subpanel and EV 50A in the garage, along with (yes) about 10 other items. We were overwhelmed with the list and overcharged by other electricians for minor work, so we were dreading this. We called around, met with several electricians in the area, and AJLE stood out for being very knowledgeable and courteous. Not the best price, but these guys knew what they were doing and laughed but were undeterred by our project. After saving up, we scheduled them to come back.Flash forward to the end - these guys are awesome. The jobs took several days, I think longer than they anticipated, but they stuck it out and stayed focused on making it right. They worked through countless issues and when one of our requests (running cat6a) didn’t quite work (cable costs were 20x what they should be), they worked with us to let us order the cabling for them to install instead. They did such a good job that we asked them to do more, even though we were beyond our budget. And in the end, when others would have charged us a king’s ransom on how complicated everything ended up being, their charging was very reasonable and actually they stuck to their quote (we had some time and materials items). VERY professional. Just goes to prove that it pays to hire knowledge and integrity.We recommend them to our friends now and we will definitely be calling them again for anything we need.

Used AJ Long for stairway lighting that had gone out. Turns out the fixture had went kaput. My technician was Sai and I couldnt be happier. He tackled the project quickly and was able to explain exactly what was going on and how I could correct the issue myself. He also helped me scope out a future recessed lighting project and provided an extremely fair and reasonable estimate for that. Will definitely use AJ Long when the time comes or for any future electrical issues. Thanks, Sai!

Im very happy with the service I got from AJ Long Electric. My job could be classified as No Job Too Small - replacing a dual dimmer switch for a ceiling fan/light combo that was no longer working.I found the consultation process (handled via email) very easy, and the representative I worked with (Matt) was fantastic. Based on his responses, I was able to set up an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. The technician (John) showed up during the scheduled time frame, and was able to perform the repair/replacement in a very timely manner. I found their pricing to be very similar to many other electricians I spoke with ($99 for a service call and 1/2 hour). They were also willing to allow me to buy the actual switches from Lowes and install the switches (which saves me a bit of money compared to having the company supply the parts).I would highly recommend giving AJ Long a call for any electrical need.

Mr. Long was very cordial and professional. He evaluated the problem and shared his results frankly. He provided a very reasonable estimate (it was a 2nd opinion so I had another estimate for comparison) of this major repair. He made clear that repair was not absolutely required but probably eventually (prior to resale) would have to be done due to code issues. Would definitely consider him for future work.

AJ Long called me and apologized for missing a scheduled appointment and then agreed to a reschedule on the day of my choice, They were very prompt, arriving at the very beginning of the scheduled window. I needed a new line added. The associate was professional, assessed and estimated what was needed, then ran the new line then. Work was professional, installed line was a very neat installation, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended

Despite an issue with initial contact, once scheduled, the electrician came out, was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. He figured out my problem and fixed it immediately. And then he helped me install three outlets in a bedroom. Very good experience over all.

Sai is fantastic!! Based on my experience with him I would definitely use AJ Electric again, and request that they send Sai. Sai came on a home warranty call, showed up with a mask, and was incredibly respectful of the space in my home. He quickly and accurately assessed the electrical problem and explained it clearly and made sure I understood my options.
