Clay and Cullen came out to my house to change a chandelier but also ended up investigating why the attic light and electrical outlet wasn’t working. Clay found there there was an outlet that was covered by Sheetrock when the house was built. That could have ended VERY badly and we are lucky the house hadn’t caught on fire. Professionalism from start to finish! Communication was fantastic. Our technician, Clay, listened well and was able to find and fix our problem quickly. Even though it was the end of a workday, He never seemed in a hurry to finish and leave… He kept asking if there was anything else we wanted him to check out while he was there. He actually fixed a minor problem that we have had for years in just seconds. He was polite and courteous. I originally was supposed to have reliable come out to diagnose my problem and give an estimate let me say that the company reliable isn’t even close to being reliable. Gave the company a call after reliable didn’t show up between the hours of 12-5 yesterday so called genuine and glad that I did. Tyler and his assistant were able to come out the following morning. They showed up on time and were very friendly and showed me in detail what the problems were and explained everything to me that made me so I could understand what was wrong. They gave me an estimate and completed the work in about 2 hours and feel that the price was more than fair for what all needed to be done. Anybody needing work done I would highly recommend genuine as they were professional and stood by their company name unlike reliable who needs to study what that word needs out of Webster’s. Any other electrical problems I have this company will be getting my call.

The job was to evaluate and replace a circuit breaker (GFCI/AFCI) that tripped randomly. The electricians opened the breaker box, checked a couple of outlets as to whether they were on the same circuit or had another issue, and came up with suggestions. We opted to replace the breaker with an AFCI breaker only. They had to drive to another location 40 minutes away to get the other breaker. Upon return, they replaced the breaker, and sent quotes for some of their other services. Both the electricians were courteous, professional, and friendly. Yes, I would call Genuine Electric again.

Clay and Cullen did a wonderful job installing exterior dimmable lights for our deck. It enables us to play games or have ambience lighting! They also did some trouble shooting on one of our flood lights- replaced the light and everything works great. Love it!

As a female on her own, it is challenging to choose a professional and feel confident that you arent being taken advantage of by virtue of being a woman. Everything about my service call with Genuine Electric was completely professional. The owner took my service appointment. He was thorough, explained what was needed and the associated costs upfront, and gave me a quote for the work that was well within what I had researched for that type of work. It has now been about a month. Everything continues to work beautifully. I need to have additional work done and will absolutely book that work with Genuine Electric with total confidence that my electrical needs are being taken care of at a fair rate by a skilled craftsman.
