    In my view, Owen and Chris are the best contractors in the area. They are responsive, punctual, on-time, reasonably priced, and do a great job. What else could you ask for? I have known them for 15 years, and will use them again in the future.

    Highly recommend Owen and the team at Popular Contracting! They are always our first call when we have a house project - theyve helped us with everything from bathroom remodels, kitchen remodel, painting, electrical updates, refinishing hardwood floors, building a pantry, the list goes. Weve worked with them at our apartment in South Boston and most recently they completed a home renovation for us in Hanover, MA.Their work is truly beautiful and great quality - weve always been so happy with how everything comes out. Additionally, Owen is so great to work with - he really listens to what youre looking to do and hes able to follow up with great vision, plans and clear timeline/expectations. Most importantly he communicates throughout the project which is huge. Hes always finding a solution to any problems that may arise and hes an all around great guy to work with. Cannot recommend Popular Contracting enough do not hesitate - give them a call.

    Chris and his team were amazing to work with! They were able to make our dream basement come to life. It was a big project with lots of moving parts and Chris’s communication, patience, assistance, explanations and recommendations were extremely helpful! All of the workers we had here were respectful, kind and professional. We would highly recommend Chris and his team and will be using them again for future projects!

    Chris and Owen were so lovely to work with. They were kind, responsive, timely, great communicators, and did a wonderful job painting my condo in the South End (where parking is tricky). I am so happy with the results! I look forward to working with them again on home improvement/remodeling projects in the future.Ive worked with many contractors in the past and the thing I appreciated most about doing business with Chris and Owen is their honest and clear communication. That part is priceless!

    Chris and his team set out for one project, but ended up completing two. With water damage you never know what you are going to get. Popular construction delivered and happy the projects are now complete. Chris although managing many sites, was able to complete the work professionally and efficiently, all while providing good communication.

    After our condo was flooded by a burst water pipe in the unit above it, we hired Popular Contracting to repair the damage. The work consisted of replacing hardwood floors, baseboards, and drywall, followed by repainting the ceiling and walls. Co-owner Chris could not have been more helpful. In addition to providing timely estimates and progress reports, he also subcontracted some other needed work, such as cleaning carpets and drapes. The process was easy and restored apartment is as good as new.

    Chris and the team at Popular Contracting Inc were great. Needed drywall work, painting, and general repairs in my condo and they responded immediately to my request, got me an estimate, and got the project done within a couple weeks. Quality of work was solid / no complaints. Would hire them again

    We had Chris and his team put a new ceiling in our bedroom recently and we are very happy with their work. It was done in a timely manner just as Chris had told me. Weve had a number of contractors over the years and none were better than Popular Contracting. There are more things were gonna need done in the future and we wont hesitate to call them again.     We moved into our new home and had Popular Contracting come in to do a lot of wall paper removal, wall painting as well as painting and updating the hinges on our kitchen cabinets. They were incredibly professional, nice and considerate. Painting the rooms around our schedule, always cleaning up at the end of the day and adjusting to changes we made throughout the process. Well definitely work with them again on any painting or home projects that we have in the future.

    Popular Painting helped me with renovations for two condos - all interior painting, drywall and wood surfaces repair, ceilings’ repair, repairs in the bathrooms. I could not be happier with a contractor - they do an amazing job!! Starting with an accurate quote (and they never exceeded the estimates); great suggestions while following the customer’s wishes and directions; fair prices; timely and responsible, and most importantly - amazing quality of work! I highly recommend them for all projects.

They made my vision from a Pinterest picture come to life in adding in custom built-in shelving and refinishing of our fireplace. The team was punctual, fast, communicative, and impeccably clean after each work day. I cant wait to work with them again on future projects in our home and highly recommend to anyone!

    I’ve used Chris and the team at Popular Contracting on numerous jobs, both small and big and they have delivered every time. They take pride in the work they do, displaying excellent craftsmanship and also provide timely communication throughout the process (which is hard to find in this industry).I’ve had them paint shutters, build a deck with custom pool enclosure, remodel bathrooms and more. 10/10 recommended these guys.
