Jon OBrien, owner of O’Brien Construction, helped us to remodel our 1952 ranch style houses kitchen. Our dream was to keep the integrity of the house and also add a kitchen that was timeless, unique, functional and beautiful. Jon and his amazing crew and sub contractors he works with helped us achieve just that. They are true craftsmen in their trades. Their attention to detail and their ability to hear my visions and bring them to life without hesitation speaks volumes to the true artisans they are.We started talking to Jon about this project three years ago, and then two years later, and finally one year later. He never made us feel badly about the delay. When we were finally ready, Jon was always available to answer questions or stop by if we needed him to. One example of Jon’s expertise was when we wanted to use our original trim around our windows and doors. With the new drywall the space around the window and doors was going to need to be fabricated in order for it to work. I was nervous. Jon told me not to worry, so I trusted him and the results are beautiful. You would never know any changes were made. Our kitchen is exactly what we had hoped for. The special touches that Jon and his crew were able to achieve for us, from the custom tin hood, custom barn wood beams to hide electrical wires, and all the trim work made the kitchen one of a kind and just what we dreamt about. We were in contact with Jon for about a year or two before our major remodel all throughout the Covid dilemma. Right away we knew he was the “one” contractor that we wanted for our forever home. Jon was polite, communicative, fair with pricing, and honest about his estimate.We decided to hire O’Brien Construction for the rough framing of our house from the 1950’s that we mostly demolished. Working with Jon throughout our project was the best experience we’ve had with any kind of contractor. Even though our project was delayed (by no means Jon’s fault), it was totally worth the wait. Jon and his crew are not only knowledgeable, but they also have superior craftsmanship. They worked with part of our old foundation and fixed many areas that were damaged by years of neglect. My wife and I were super impressed by the rate of which they were able to finish, and the ease it was to communicate any kind of modifications we had to the original plan. Jon and his crew were polite, kept the worksite clean, and were knowledgeable with any questions for the additions we had.Even though at this moment they are not finished. We are confident that we will hire Obrien Construction for all of our project. I would recommend O’Brien Construction to anyone looking for an fair + honest contractor that has superior craftsmanship and excellent communication.

Jon and his crew recently completed a pergola at our home that is absolutely beautiful! The exceptional quality and precision of their work exceeded our expectations. A very well organized professional team of young men that will go far in the industry of quality carpentry. We will definitely be using them for other projects and highly recommend them.

Jon built our master suite addition 10 years ago and just remodeled our kitchen this year. Completely professional, expert craftsmanship, kept to the timeline and budget. You could not ask for better in a contractor. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Obrian Construction and we couldn’t be happier. Everything about the entire project went as planned. The crew were all professional and polite. I would highly recommend them to anyone. This was the second project that John has done for us and had very good experiences with both of them.
