    After a month of no heat, I called E&V to do a diagnostic, turns out my inducer fan was nothing but rusty crumbs. Tony was quick about ordering the replacement part and Matt was quick and friendly installing it and explaining everything. Definitely recommend E&V :)

    The technician Joe Greenwood was super courteous, and absolutely knew exactly what he was doing. Took the furnace apart and found a mouse nest. He then took the unit off the wall, removed the back, and found more nest debris (plus a dead mouse). He cleaned everything thoroughly, and ran it from the thermostat to make sure the furnace and blower both worked. Efficient, expert, and polite. I am impressed and relieved. Awesome, and I will ask for this technician in the future. THANK YOU!!Update, since I cant figure out how to leave a second separate review:Joe came back to put a new gasket on, and did so with cheerful efficiency and expertise, arriving with everything he needed to do the job. He then made sure the furnace and blower were both running correctly and safely before he left. I particularly liked that he explained what he was doing as he did it. Once again, he was polite, quietly confident because he knew what he was doing, and even cleaned up. Another THANK YOU for a job well done.

    I love E & V Energy. We just had an air source heat system and an air source hot water heater installed in our home. Josiah and Jesse were very knowledgeable and professional and were excellent at explaining everything to us. They were very tolerant of our numerous pets when they got in the way. Our initial contact with Nate was also a pleasure.

    I trust e and v energy for many different things at my place. In the past year, they have installed a new boiler and hot water system and a walll-mounted air conditioner. They also fixed a toilet that needed to be reseated. They did this on very short notice. I think theyre an excellent company.

    Have been dealing with E&V now for about four years. Started with installation of an underground propane tank and a furnace maintenance contract.Two years ago E&V installed a Mitsubishi AC and heat pump unit in our home. We never realized what a savings the heat pump would provide until we actually experienced it. Installation has 3 wall hung units in the house and they are very quiet and efficient. They do a great job of maintaining the temperature where they are set.Our experience with their installation and maintenance personnel has been very positive. We are happy to recommend this group to any home owner.

    Ive been an E&V customer for quite some time, and I depend on them for my propane delivery to heat my house, heat my water, fuel my stove and my whole house generator. Ive had no issue that. I have noticed the price of LP has been rising over the last couple of months, but I assume thats due to the going price. I purchased my furnace and hot water heater from them and they work flawlessly. Service has been good as well. Much better than those other guys.

    I just received my annual service inspection for my Rinnai heater.The technician did a careful and thorough inspection of the unit and explained exactly what and why he was doing the various pressure tests and inspections. He made sure he did not soil our new carpet or damage any of the antique furniture near the unit. He was extremely friendly and courteous, and was very willing to answer my questions on how to use the various computer directed options in the unit. I would rate this technician as excellent. My service from E&V has been prompt and reliable and fair. I would rate E&V as excellent and a first choice for any heating service needs.

    We switched to E&V a few years ago for our fuel oil. Automatic delivery has been flawless and the price is a little lower than we were paying. We have required repair work on our two boilers and E&V fixed them, and when a callback was required, they were very accommodating on the charges. Annual boiler cleaning/service has been well done. Would recommend them highly.

    E&V Energy put a new natural gas furnace and hot water heater in our home two years ago. As part of the installation, additional heating and cold air return ducts needed to be installed as well. We live in an old house, which made things tricky. However, the installation was completed quickly and efficiently on the date that was promised. The crew was courteous and knowledgeable and made sure everything was clean when they left. We have been very happy with all the services and products weve purchased from E&V. I would highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs.

    We started using E&V when we built our home in 1996! We have had great service all of these years. Being on automatic delivery is great. Additionally, the Service Club is a great offer to take advantage of... it has saved us a lot of money throughout the years! I highly recommend this company if you live in the Auburn, NY area.

    We have two homes on our property and have had service contracts with E&V Energy for years. They always call to schedule annual service and that alone pays for the cost. Their service tech (Matt) is wonderful at explaining everything he does and boy is he thorough. We highly recommend E&V service contracts also because if our furnace goes out we can rely on them to be here within a couple of hours. Without the service contract we would be waiting for an unknown person who is unfamiliar with our furnace.

    I purchased a furnace from E & V and following installation my wife thought she smelled a gas leak. The company immediately responded and corrected the problem well after business hours. Their service and willingness to respond to all situations has enabled me to comfortably recommend them to many of my friends. They are always courteous and very professional whenever I need them either for scheduled maintenance or if a problem arises. I do want to mention that their propane pricing is very competitive and I intend on remaining with them for a long time.

    I was looking for an affordable LP Gas company & I called the E&V Energy company in Cortland, NY. and they had just the right answers to my questions. They helped me choose the right LP gas tank which was a super great buy. The service was as advertised and more. They bent over backwards to help us. Later on we bought a new furnace and A/C from E&V and they installed them. They really know their business. E&V service is outstanding, very professional, answering all of our questions. We are more than satisfied.

    I just love the service club that E & V offers! I had my annual cleaning andinspection done today on both my furnace and hot water heater. The cost wouldhave been hard for me to come up with all at once, but the service club optionmakes it so much more affordable to keep up with maintenance and avoid costlyrepairs.     E and V Energy installed a new heating and cooling system in our home a year ago. The installation was done over 2 days, taking the time to do the job correctly and explain step by step what they were doing. We have been pleased with the system and the service - fixing a minor leak and the annual check-up of the system. All the sales and technical personnel have been professional and a pleasure to deal with.

    We started using E@V energy in August of last year when we moved into a house we are rental. We had some issues getting the propane stove up and running and they were great in getting everything taken care of and getting us settled in with our propane set up. We have been very pleased with their service and would recommend them to anybody else who are looking for a propane supplier.

Kim from the Geneva store set us up with a budget plan that is affordable and she was very polite and courteous.     I have been a customer for 30 years, and have had great service for all of them.Every year they call to set up our cleaning date, and time. They are always ontime. If they can not be ,someone calls to let us know. Every tech that comesseems to know his work very well. I worked in the natural gas industry for 35years. Working with heating and distribution of gas to homes. I do have trainingon heating systems, so that is why I say they know their work very well.     Our Mini-split AC was installed on June 11 by Doug and Joe. They did an excellent job and we are very happy with the whole process. Mike Shonk came to the hose to explain the system and how it works. He is very personable and did an excellent job with us. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about making a similar installation!

    Excellent Service, great prices on fuel oil and propane. 24 hour emergency service and great no run out guarantee. The cheapest and highest quality in Cortland County ! Experienced repair staff that maintain our equipment and do excellent installations of new equipment. We have done business with them for over 10 years and have always had nothing but great service and pricing.

    I switched from Agway because of their outrageous pricing policies about four years ago. E&V is so much better. Good prices, great service contract, and really helpful people to deal with. I am away for the winter, and they always bend over backwards to get me my service and delivery before I leave. Great company.

    With an oil furnace getting old and looking to do a serious update I called and got Ed Brown to come out and price a new propane unit as the conversation went on my wife and I were sold on the idea to also include central air. The installers did have some minor issues but were able to overcome them in a short time and we have been more than pleased with the unit and have told others about their work and how professional they are at all times.

    We have had some problems the last two years with our air conditioning. Both times E and V responded promptly and fixed the problem. They were very helpful and gave ideas so that the problem would not reoccur. We are on the service plan and receive service each year and have always been pleased by their technicians and their work.

    We originally began using E&V for just our oil and propane delivery, and over the years have added them as our maintenance service providers (on annual contracts), worked with theirs sales rep to replace our outdated oil heating system with a high tech propane/heat pump system, and worked with their installation team as they installed, fine tuned, and then diligently pursued an unusual problem through to its solution. Without exception every individual I have dealt with at E&V has been extremely courteous, professional, and proactive in assuring that we have been satisfied with their products and service. I trust E&V and would recommend them to others without reservation.

    We love using E and V for our propane and fuel oil. Their prices typically match or beat the biggest local competitor. Our credit isnt great so other companies wouldnt sell us propane even with cash-before-delivery to our own tank! Called E and V, they came right out and have been serving us ever since! Drivers are all very friendly, office staff too! Great company to do business with.

    E & V has been supplying fuel for my farm for over 30 years. When my home fuel supplier went out of business about 10 years ago I contacted E & V about home fuel delivery and service for my furnace and hot water heater. They said that home delivery would be no problem and promptly started making deliveries to my home. I joined their Service Club and pay a yearly fee that covers all annual service and emergency calls. Over the last 10 years I have had some furnace and water heater emergencies that were promptly taken care of by a call to E & V. The tech was here yesterday for the annual service and took time to explain all the work and tests that he had completed on my furnace and water heater. All of E & Vs personnel are friendly and ready to help.

    I purchased this house 2 years ago. The previous owners had E&V service contract already established. I was hesitant at first but decided to continue for the first year. They were more than helpful . They agreed to add our airconditioner onto the service plan once thay cleaned it. Whenever I have had questions E&V service department has been more than helpful and resolved all issues. I highly recommend E&V.Mary

    We have been a customer of E&V for 6 years and have generally been satisfied with their service. My only complaint is that they have a service club plan that is supposed to make you a priority for service, but that is not the case. Their deliveries are not consistent as to timeliness and we frequently have to call when they go 45 days between delivery in the winter time. Their pricing is very good, but I do not see the value in their service club plan.
