    Charles and the team at A-Z Finish Carpentry did an incredible job. Samantha, our project manager, was professional and communicative. They gave great recommendations about tradespeople to work with and where to buy supplies. The final product is everything we hoped for - our primary bathroom is now a serene oasis that feels almost twice as big as it did before. We would gladly hire A-Z again for a future project.

    We just had a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen and bathroom that we started in January. Charles at A-Z was great and communicative throughout the whole process. His guys were professional, courteous and all around great workers that pushed through the whole project. New plumbing stack, new electrical, structural reinforcements, blue board and plastering, floor and wall tile, lighting, insulation, fixtures, cabinetry and more were all done. Project took 6 weeks and even with a few hiccups and needed extras that cropped up they were able to handle it all. I love the new look and all the work done was great. Finished result is the proof. I’m impressed with everything they did and even started to quote the next couple projects with Charles to get a few other things done. I’d absolutely recommend them for any work you need done inside the house.

    Charles and his crew did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation! The kitchen was gutted and the wall removed in between the kitchen and living room. From the beginning of demo to finish was about a month and a half. It was so nice to have Charles keeping everything on schedule and organized. The whole project went smoothly with Charles at the helm! He was on top of everything and stayed in communication about the different steps, inspections, who was coming and going, etc. We’re so happy to have the open space and I love the way it came out. We’ll go to Charles in the future for our to-do list of renovations. Definitely work with him on your next home project!

    A-Z finish carpentry popped up in my search all of a sudden after I had tried contacting multiple other contractors for my kitchen/bathroom renovation. So glad they did! I sent a message asking about a quote and Charles came over same day. He had a 3D draft of the kitchen based on our specs next day. I had dozens of questions which Charles answered promptly and patiently and never dropped off the radar or pressured us into anything. The demo started exactly when it was scheduled and moved quickly. Permits were pulled on time, inspections happened on time and the crew were great! They cleaned up after every day of work and were extremely polite. They also stayed within the timeline we were quoted for. Our end results are absolutely beautiful- really exceeded my expectations and I am beyond happy with everything. A rare find in the contracting world to find someone that not only responds to your request and doesn’t disappear, but delivers amazing results in a reasonable time. Thank you so much for our beautiful new kitchen and bathroom!!!!!

    The team did an awesome job!I hired A-Z Finish in September/October 2023 to perform a renovation of my bathroom. I wanted a full replacement of my floor tile, vanity, toilet, as well as the conversion of my bathtub to a standup shower. Charles and his team were diligent, helpful, communicative, meticulous, and true professionals throughout this remodel.Specific examples that influence my review are as follows:Communication: Throughout this project Charles and his team were reachable via text or phone. Transparency in pricing as well as responsiveness throughout the project was important to me and Charles delivered. From questions to on timing to materials, Charles was quick to respond back and helped me throughout (no questions was too small or left unanswered)High quality: The team took great care not to dirty my apartment throughout the demo and put a lot of attention into the details.Trustworthy: During the project I needed to be out of the country. While I was away the team kept on schedule and could be trusted to deliver. Charles kept me informed and coordinated all necessary tasks.I would hire A-Z finishing again for future projects.

    We used A-Z for our first large (in scale and $$) home renovation project. The pricing was very fair, and the timeline they gave us for the project was met. All of the staff that came to the house were very professional and courteous.(The tile team are EXCELLENT) Having a female project lead is GENIUS. It provided me a really great avenue for asking questions. The availability of Samantha, Charles and the other sub-leads was really remarkable. I was able to reach out and get answers very quickly from all of them. I was a total novice to SO much of this, so having a friendly and responsive team was really helpful. We will absolutely use them again for future projects.

    Couldn’t rate Charles and his crew more highly. AS TWO FEMALE HOMEOWNERS WITH NO MALES PRESENT, WE FELT SAFE! I want to highlight that because it’s not usually the case and we have to keep a close eye on when we’re being taken advantage of. This was NEVER the case. We had a basement flood in a new house and found out there was mold behind drywall and we need to demolish, re-insulate, re-plaster, and paint the basement asap in the middle of winter. He showed up immediately, gave an incredibly reasonable quote, and took time answering all of our questions. His teams of workers were respectful, cleaned up so well after messy plaster work even, and were on time and communicated with us as needed.We’ve even called AZ for followup project since then. Sadly, they don’t put in retaining walls, but we probably would’ve let them give it a try if we could! See some before and after photos attached. I know it’s a messy basement but…look at those beautiful walls!

    Recently our condo bathroom was remediated due to a flood.I was searching online for a contractor with multiple positive and highly rated reviews, and I found A-Z. Honestly, you need not look any further.Charles and his crew are true craftsmen. The carpentry, plastering, the finished woodwork, the tile work are exceptional. We are thrilled with the results.Charles clearly loves what he does, and it shows. We would recommend Charles in a heartbeat.

    Charles and his team did an excellent job renovating our bathroom, replacing all our old plumbing, and widening our entryway. The bathroom initially lacked venting, which led to flies and nasty smells. A-Z was able to diagnose the issue, make a plan to solve it, and carry out that plan in a reasonable time frame. Charles let us buy the materials and advised on them which was a big help. All this was provided for a very competitive price. Were now enjoying our luxurious new bathroom. Highly recommend, and will be getting more work done by A-Z.
