    If I ever need anything plumbing related, Modern Plumbing Industries is the only company I trust. They are a courteous, fast, and honest team of high quality professional people.We have had multiple issues with a cheap Glacier Bay toilet for a while and finally decided to get it replaced. Freddy advised on a Gerber Avalanche toilet as a replacement due to their quality and longevity. He quickly scheduled this with me and just a few days later, we have a beautiful upgrade to our bathroom. Freddy was very professional, hard working, and did the job right.Thanks so much and I will be a lifelong customer to this awesome company.

    Great company to work with. We had an issue with a State hybrid water heater that was still under warranty. Our tech, Billy Reynolds, was friendly and professional and got me back up and running again with a new unit.     Not only did Modern Plumbing do a fantastic, detailed job on the remodel of my bathroom, but they have responded to many small emergency water leaks at my residence over the years. Just yesterday, we had a water main leak and their tech was here within an hour and a half from another job. He got it fixed at a much lower price than we expected. Highly recommend MP and their team!

    I recently had an issue with my AO Smith hybrid water heater, which failed after four years of use. I got in touch with Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc., as they are an AO Smith certified installer.Modern Plumbing sent their technician, Kurtis, to meet with us to discuss our replacement options. Kurtis was not just punctual but also very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure to be respectful of my home. Kurt took the time to clearly explain the replacement process, making the experience less stressful.     I saw one of Modern Plumbings pristine work vans while waiting for a red light at the same time I was looking to upgrade my water heater to propane. They helped me to go tankless. Later I learned how difficult it is to find a certified propane tech. Im extremely grateful for Devine Providence that brought me to their door.     Modern Plumbing crew and staff are the best in town. We’ve used their services on multiple occasions and have always been met with professionalism and courtesy. Thomas was the technician that worked on an urgent issue for us today. He arrived within 30 minutes of our call, explained in great detail all the work he would be doing to locate the issue and rectify it.     Modern Plumbing was recommended to us by a plumber in Volusia County where we lived previously. We used them this summer to install a laundry tub sink in the garage and did a good job. We had a toilet clog which we somewhat cleared but needed the line snaked better than we could. This toilet had been sluggish for a number of years, so had all new guts installed. Our second toilet was slowing a little so had it redone as well. Both working very efficiently now saving water on flushes. We decided to join the Modern Value Plan for future benefits and services which included a whole house inspection of plumbing & drains. We couldnt be more pleased with our service technician, Freddy Lopez. He was very personable and professional explaining everything he was doing and why, and giving helpful information along the way about other services we were thinking about having done. Freddy is definitely five stars!

    We got 4 estimates before deciding on Modern Plumbing and they were exceptional! Michael came out the 1st day to access our issues, gave us several options/estimates then worked us in the next day to complete the job. We had 2 builder grade toilets replaced that were giving lots of problems. Michael had this completed in about 2 1/2 hours, left our bathrooms immaculate and was very professional and personable. Their fees are fair and reasonable...highly recommend Modern Plumbing and Michael!

    Modern Plumbing is my go to plumbing company. I’ve been using them for a few years now and have always been very satisfied with their service. Their technicians are very professional and courteous. Billy came out most recently to solve a sewage back up issue. He explained things well, discussed the options intelligently and got the job done. He also gave me some tips on how to prevent plumbing problems in the future. The other thing I really appreciate about their service is that they dont try to sell you things you dont need and will suggest alternatives that will save you money. Plumbing aint cheap (what is anymore) but I believe their prices are fair. I also appreciate their office/scheduling staff who are very friendly, efficient and easy to work with. I will definitely be calling them again if I have another plumbing problem.

    Very impressed with this company. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Communication was great from the office and technician about arrival times. Michael was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable on how to fix our problems. Michael went out of his way to pick up the new toilet we needed at Lowe’s as it was to heavy and large for me to transport. Michael cleaned up everything after he was done. You couldn’t even tell if someone had been there working. I would recommend this company and Michael to everyone.

    Due to the storm and its conditions; we had a major water problem and the main water supply line cracked and we had water everywhere. After shutting the water off I knew exactly who to call. I called my favorite plumbing company. The staff is great. Billy came out to help us today and to restore water and install a new water main pipe line.     I had a tub installed at my house today on Friday 9/6/2024 by the cleanest and most professional installation crew led by Alfredo Lopez.     Came home from work around 6pm and noticed a leak coming from the water spigot I called me realtor and he referred Modern Plumbing, which provides 24 hour service. I called them up let them know the issue and they said a technician will get back to me shortly with a ETA. Thomas called me back right away and made it to my house within the hour. Super honest, friendly, affordable and very knowledgeable. Being a new homeowner and coming in contact with our first issue, I had other questions about plumbing needs he had no issue answering all my questions and giving me quotes for them as well.     I had a slight leak in my horse. Modern plumbing came highly recommended by a neighbor. I called and they were able to get someone out immediately. They worked with my scheduling and availability and was extremely communicative. If something earlier came up they let you know, they informed you when the techs were on the way and the office was available immediately for any call.Kurtis came out to assess the job and was great. He was kind and was very detailed as to what was needed, price and expectations of the work. He made me feel comfortable right away even explaining all the pricing options including an option with modern plumbing’s year service contract. This contract essentially paid for itself and they even applied the discount to the same day job.The day of job Kurtis was right on time with a smile on his face.     We moved into our home about 2 years ago. The home is a little older and has some issues and updates that are needed. We noticed our drains weren’t draining to well in the kitchen and decided it was time to call Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc.We were greeted by a really friendly Freddy. He asked to come check out the kitchen, we did and he instantly realized the issue was grease built up over the years. He broke down all the grease and fixed any other small issues he knew I was struggling with that was connected to the system. He didn’t hesitate to help. You could tell he cared about his customers and not only that, he spoke so nicely about the company he works for. May I also add that he was extremely knowledgeable and didn’t pretend to know what he was talking about. He did his job wonderfully while explaining everything he was going to do next.     We recently had a plumbing issue that needed attention fairly quickly. Modern Plumbing was able to send a service technician out the next day. Our service technician, Freddy, did a great job! He called to let us know he was on the way and arrived on time. Freddy listened to us explain the problem we were having and got right to work diagnosing and fixing our problem. He explained everything to us in detail. He was also professional and respectful of our property. We mentioned it was time to replace the hot water heater.     Another great experience with Modern Plumbing. Service tech Thomas Marshall was on time, professional, and clearly very experienced and courteous. Ive used Modern for 10 years from repipe to kitchen and bathrooms. Never disappointed in the quality of techs they send out to do the job. I dont normally sign up for service plans but I did today. (I asked about, I didnt get a sales pitch from Thomas). Came with a complete plumbing inspection which Thomas made time in his schedule to do and they repeat each year of plan.

    Modern Plumbing is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. They replaced our old sewage line and installed new plumbing, including trenching the entire length of our property. Within a matter of few days, all of the trenching and installation were complete. Despite this job being inherently dirty, Andrew and his team did clean and beautiful work. Each evening they stayed late to spray off any dirt that may have fallen on our driveway. They picked up all old piping and any other trash. They were communicative, knowledgeable, and flexible, taking time to answer all of our questions and making sure to do their best to accommodate our preferences.     Freddy Lopez and his partner Jonathan N. did a fantastic job of installing our new toilet. We had decided to purchase a new toilet on our own and have Modern Plumbing install it, however, it turned out that we purchased a toilet that wouldn’t fit our bathroom. So Freddy did some checking and found a toilet that would fit. He volunteered to drive down to south Orlando to get it and install it the same day. Despite a major traffic accident along the way, he and his partner were able to pick up the toilet and return to install it quickly and efficiently. When you call for an appointment they are very kind and courteous and will confirm the appointment the day prior with another call. Our first Technician, Thomas, did great work installing, bathroom sink and faucet and main shutoff valve to house. He assessed that the new kitchen sink we had purchased was defective, saving us future problems.Our Second Technician, Johnny, was able to install the new kitchen skin and faucet.     We had to do a repipe due to insurance companies dislike of polybutylene. Have to replace the plumbing in your house is not fun - its messy, disruptive, costly and time consuming. After interviewing plumbing companies and listening to recommendations from friends, we went with Modern Plumbing. We are very pleased with the result, including the nice drywall work. Our 2 story was a bit challenging and involved, but the plumbing crew finished the work in 2 days - and the county inspector came early the next morning and signed off. The drywall guy had his work cut out for him, but he was very meticulous, and you wouldnt know that drywall had been removed. No matter who you choose to do your repipe, it is a major job, but I had a great experience with Modern Plumbing. They were more reasonable than the large commercial companies. Do your homework and Im confident youll end up choosing Modern Plumbing.

    David came and did a great job. He went out of his way to complete the job with as little disturbance as possible, saving me $$ by not tearing into the sheetrock wall on the other side of the shower. He also modified the cover plate to fit around a soap dish saving me more $ as I didnt have to retile. It could have been a much easier job for him but he chose to do the right thing. Thanks David!Caleb showed up today… a year or more Since my last review. Tennant complained of a leaking toilet. Other companies charge to come Out and assess the problem. Modern does not charge. Saved me hundreds today as the toilet is fine. Seems like “user error”. Thanks Caleb, you did a great job today.Ps… Modern is the best!Another rental another issue. Thomas came out and assessed my problem quickly and professionally. We discussed the two options I had for the fix.     We had Doug come into our preschool to help with an ongoing repair that we were working on and not only was he helpful, quick, and efficient, he was also honest. He helped us work through our repair, giving us his honest opinions the entire time, and even helped us work through a separate plumbing issue that came up while he was visiting the school. They were quick to come when I needed them, and Freddie and Curtis (the two technicians who dealt with my leak) were efficient and professional.     Can’t say enough about the service we received from Modern Plumbing. Thomas initially came out for a minor concern regarding our kitchen faucet. Then we asked him about the gunk dripping from our bathroom faucets. He is a 3rd generation plumber and knew his stuff. There was no charge for this initial inspection. We decided to replace the bathroom faucets. Called Modern Plumbing back and asked for Thomas to do the install. He came out with his apprentice Isaac and they did a great job!     I had a leak in the shower faucet. Modern Plumbing was quick to send out a technician, Kurt Lankford, to detect & evaluate the problem. A time was set up for his return to resolve the issue. He showed up timely for the appointment & promptly got to work. Unfortunately, there were unexpected complications and the job took longer than anticipated, but Kurt never wavered. He persevered and fixed the problem. Kurt was very knowledgeable and always very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Modern Plumbing and Kurt Lankford for any plumbing issues.

    Modern Plumbing donated a Hot Water Heater (plus install and haul away for the old one) to a local school fundraiser.I was notified by the school that I won the Hot Water Heater on Saturday evening. By Monday morning, I already had an email from Kim at Modern Plumbing to give her a call and set up an appointment.The appointment was set for yesterday, after learning the tech was on his way to my house I had to call and reschedule, everyone I talked to was extremely kind, professional, and understanding.They rescheduled for later yesterday afternoon. I was called to be notified when the tech was on their way. They arrived shortly afterward. They were kind and professional, answered all my questions and showed me everything. Everything was well explained and we now have a new Hot Water Heater.Highly recommend.     I recently had a total home repipe, water heater installation, and faucet installation. Cody and his Modern Plumbing crew were at my house for 3 days. They were punctual, professional, courteous, and respectful. They kept me advised and made sure I understood everything being done. At the end of each day they cleaned up and swept and vacuumed the floors where they were working.     Heard about Modern Plumbing from The Tom and Dan show and the project they were doing at Toms house. Meet them at the monthly Sanford Food Trucks. I meet the owner and he told me that when they come out they many options to repairs they offer. Their technician Victor came out and quoted many options for what we wanted to do, we picked the major overhaul of all the toilets. After Victor completed the repairs, I was really happy on how it turned out. Money well spent while supporting local business. Any plumbing needs check them out.

    I called Modern Plumbing Industries for a family member and Im glad I did. Victor R. came out to the property. His professionalism, attention to detail, and making sure no potential issue gets overlooked was greatly appreciated. Having experienced the same issue with a different toilet, I was aware of what needed to be performed so to listen to the the plumber explain things and not sell something that wasnt needed was a plus.     I called one plumbing company to come out and see why one of my toilets wouldnt flush and the other one I had to plunge every so often before it would quit flushing. They told me I needed a whole house sewer replacement and quoted me $32,000 to do it. Took us awhile to get a loan for that and when we finally got it we called the company and they stated they no longer do those kind of jobs. This sent me on a quest to find another plumbing company. After doing alot of research I decided to go with Modern Plumbing. I am so glad I did. The very first guy that game out to check things out was very nice and found what he believed to be wrong. He was compassionate to our situation and what we paid already to othe plumbers for their assessment. He scheduled a guy John and Kevin to come out for a look to get their opinion. After spending a long time and being very thorough they informed me I did not need a whole house sewer repair. Just repair in the half bath. Needless to say we were so relieved to hear this good news. John and Kevin and the crew were so nice and proffesional and we were so pleased with the quality of their work. After this we decided to have some remodeling done in the bathrooms and Kevin was our guy for this throughout the whole project. What a great guy. He treated us with so much kindness and patience. His work was as if he would have been working on his own house. I had his number and was even able to text him when buying things for the remodel to get his expertise, sometimes on his own time. Then there is the owner Joe. He was also great. Always worked with me on scheduling to my liking and patient with all my questions and quotes I requested. I am sure there are other companies that are cheaper and I know for a fact there are others now that will work off of commissions and try to sell you a whole house sewer repair for 32,000 when it is not needed. But as for Modern Plumbing we were so happy with their work on the repair of our bathrooms and the remodeling and the sinks they installed and the hybrid hot water heater and all the other work that goes with it and felt the pricing was fair. We have found the company we will continue to use for any future plumbing needs. Thanks so much Kevin, John, Joe and all the other guys and ladies in the office that helped along the way.     My wife and I had our old water heater dir on us and called mondern plumbing, our technician Freddie came out the following day to evaluate, told us we needed a new system. Was able to confirm and get us on the schedule the following week in the morning. Now we have hot water is it is working better than ever.     I always use Modern Plumbing anytime I have an issue. Recently I purchased replacement faucets and drains for all my bathrooms in the house, thinking I could handle the job myself. (Yeah, ok.) I didn’t get far, I couldn’t get the drain off the first one. The builders of my home had decided to make them a permanent fixture in the house with pipe dope. Enter Modern Plumbing and Freddy! He was awesome, thorough, and incredibly professional. He truly was an angel for me because he wasn’t annoyed whatsoever with my very loud and energetic Goldendoodle. He was so patient while painstakingly cutting off every drain (yes all 4 had to be cut off) and replacing with the new ones.     2024 Update: My hot water heater died yesterday and I called Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc. They put me on the list to have someone come to my house as soon as possible. In about 3 hours Johnathan called to say he was on his way to my house. He came and installed a new 50 gallon hot water heater for me. It wasnt an easy job because the old hot water heater had been in use for many years and was full of gunk. Plus all the pipes had to be redone to accommodate the new hot water heater. Johnathan did a wonderful job and was very friendly and professional answering all my questions. Everything is working great and I have plenty of hot water now. Thank you Johnathan and all the great folks at Modern Plumbing Industries, IncI have used Modern Plumbing Industries, Inc. since 2012 and they are always professional, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating to their customers needs and situation. Recently i had a toilet and sink in the master bathroom replaced. Jason was the plumber that came to complete the installation. He did a wonderful job and was kind and caring throughout. I really like the chair height toilet and deeper sink that he carefully installed. Plus, the new faucet works and looks great.     I’ve worked with Modern on several occasions and they’ve never disappointed. Mike, Kurtis and Freddy are great. They’ve replaced hose bibs at a fraction of the cost from prior plumbers, and recently they installed all new plumbing after having new counters installed.     Freddy came out to fix a main water leak leading into our home just today .To make a long story short he went far beyond what we expected in service .His honest approach to the issue and quick resolution to it made our day .We thought the home needed an immediate repiping , but for now it’s not the case .I’ve dealt with many plumbers over my 30 years living in Florida - he’s the best hands down .

    We always had good experience in the past. But just had such a great experience I had to write a review! After getting 4 bids we went with Modern because of good past experiences. We hired them to re-route our drain line to the sewer which meant digging up yard (side and front) cutting through driveway and having a pump/ lift station put in. Everyone was so professional and super pleasant and thorough and youd think this was impossible but they were very neat. Special shout out to Mikey Wilson, who seemed to run the job and kept me informed all along the way as well as Johnathan Rodriguez and Tyler Graves. Oh and Vinny Rosa who came out originally to do the proposal and also kept me informed. At one point there were 7 guys here and all were great! We are so happy to be able to do laundry in our own home again and use the dishwasher without water coming up through the floor. A big thank you to everyone and sorry if I missed anyone. In a time when it seems customer service has become a low priority - if everyone is offering the same repairs or products and pricing - then the only thing that makes you stand out is customer service! And Modern is a perfect example of this.

    Today was my second time using Modern Plumbing. The first was for a leaking natural gas line to my dryer. The second was for my toilet that was not flushing well. The techs were Wyatt for the first and Freddie for the second. Both times they were right on time, so kind, listened to me explain the issues we were having, and identified and fixed the problems with ease. The pricing has also been extremely reasonable and both times actually less than what I was expecting.
