    We built our first custom home with J&J and while it can be daunting we absolutely had an amazing experience. From start, designing the home with Mike was so much fun and he gave amazing and helpful feedback. He listened to the designs we wanted and implemented them beautifully. Jim also had so much experience and was helpful giving feedback on our choices and great suggestions. We loved building with Ramon, who was so great guiding us through the entire process and even a year afterwards with follow up. It has truly been a pleasure building with this team and would 100% do it again.

    J & J built a custom home for us in Oakland Park. We are extremely happy with our home and the quality of work. J & J worked with us throughout the process and allowed us to do things that we wanted in the home.The supervisor Ramon, was exceptionally patient and dedicated to the process and insured that what we wanted was achieved whenever possible. Ramon is very knowledgeable in construction and very gracious with the customer. He made the experience very pleasant.Additionally it was great working with Jim on the contract and with Shawn for all contract changes.We would definitely recommend J&J to build the home you desire.

    J & J Built a custom home for me in Oakland Park. This was my first experience buying and building a custom home and I have to say I couldnt be happier. There is A LOT of planning and decision making that goes into your custom home but J & J does a fantastic job laying out the steps , scheduling your meetings with subcontractors (e.g. Cabinets, lights, tile, etc) and ultimately delivering the exact home you want. We built during the very challenging time of Covid where labor shortages and supply chain delays were heavy, but J & J and in particular my project manager Ramon always stayed on top of everything and was always a quick text or phone call away to answer any questions. Some of the details I really appreciate is the custom cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, frameless showers and much more. Every challenge I threw at them they solved. At the end of the day Im living my dream home thanks to J & J and Ive noticed that all the best looking houses in our neighborhood seem to be built by J & J. I would highly recommend them.

    My husband & I have just moved into a beautiful new home built by J&J Building LLC. I have heard many people say that building a custon home can be a nightmare. Our experience has been anything but... From the beginning J&J have not only been honest & professional, but also very friendly & helpful in guiding me through this process that I had previously no experience with. They allowed me to have several meetings with Realtor Ann Miller & owners Jim Costello & Jerry Miller & Architect Michael Morrissey who took our wants & needs & designed us a very unique home that goes beyond our expectations. Thanks to Shawn Dennis who kept me straight on all the money matters. I also want to thank the ladies in the office especially Dena Castro who answered my many questions & repeatedly explained all the paperwork, draws, interest ....what it all was for & what I needed to do.I expecially want to compliment & truly thank my Job Supervisor Ramon Castro. He is the Superist of Job Supervisors! He walked me through each step of this build. He was always available to take my calls, meet at the contruction site, explain what was involved in the next step of the build & what I needed to pick out, who I needed to meet with next. He was very helpful, polite, friendly in his guidance. He was always willing to do the extra things that were not officially under his job description. He & his son Christopher put up a front porch swing, hooked up our new TVs, cable boxes, program our new garage door openers.... Ramon I dont under stand how this works, what is this for? It was always Ill be right over Mrs.Yamber.Weve been in the house about a week now & Ramon stopped by to make sure things were going well & told me that he & Christopher would be back later to put together some new furniture & a few other things. Ramon definitely made this 1st time Custom Home owners experience most pleasant.I highly recommend J&J Building for building great homes & being willing to go the extra miles in making their clients Dream Homes become a reality! Honestly, I hope to remain friends with these wonderful people!

    Wow – what a fantastic custom home building experience. JJ is like a family and that includes EVERY person we interacted with at JJ. The architect Mike is the best of the best and can take your vision and nail it while also ensuring that everyday living components are integrated into the final design. Shawn has got to be one of the best GC Managers you could ever work with. Your main point of contact will be your project manager/home builder. We had the pleasure of having Ramon fill this role for us. I do not know how Ramon does it? He went so far beyond any expectation I had for a PM, and I consider him a friend for life.All of this goes back to Jerry and Jim because they have made this not just a building company but a family of remarkable people who care……….and I cannot leave out that the building material quality and workmanship are second to none. We have lived in the house for almost a year now, and I am still noticing details they did that were over and above what one would expect.

    My wife and I have built / renovated over five homes during the course of your 30-years together and J & J Building is one of the best contracting firms weve worked with. We love our home. The quality of the construction, the attention to detail, and the attentiveness to our needs was second to none. I want to especially give a shout-out to Ramon Castro, our building supervisor, for his professionalism, courtesy, and detailed knowledge of our job and its requirements and to Shawn Dennis, Jim Costello, Jerry Miller, Mike Morrisey, Jenn Vanasdale, and the other team-members at J & J Building for making our house a home.

    This is a great construction company! I built a custom home in Oakland and could not be happier with the results. They were attentive and stayed on schedule despite some lot slope issues. The attention to detail and customer service were great. I would definitely use them again.

    Building with J& J Building has been a delight. They are very good at what they do and deliver what they promise. We have been in our custom build home for three months and we are very happy we chose Jim Costello and his team. Jim is an excellent listener and he and his team were able to turn our thoughts into a gorgeous home. They made the design process fun and easy. Mike Morrissey, J&J Buildings architect, listened to what we wanted and walked the lot with us. The result was a custom design that delivered exactly what we wanted. Then the J&J team headed by Shawn Dennis and Ramon Castro took over and delivered a beautiful well constructed finished home.
