I can say with no hesitation that I highly recommend Otter Brook Carpentry and will definitely reach out to them again when I have more projects to complete. After an informative discussion with Austin about the work I needed done and a very reasonable quote, the crew showed up right on time and jumped into the work. They were a polite, friendly, and hard-working team. At the end of the job, everything was cleaned up beautifully and the outcome looks really, really nice!

Austin built a mudroom addition on our home and was incredibly skilled, professional and detail oriented through the whole process, from estimate to completion and cleanup. He clearly communicated with us along the way about his timeline and what aspects of the project would be done when, and the quality of the finished product exceeded our expectations. He worked in a very clean manner, and was enjoyable to have working on our home each day. I cant recommend him enough.

Austin was professional, prompt, and highly skilled at his craft. The drywall repairs throughout the house were much needed and improve the overall feel of our home. In addition, we have had difficulties with rot behind our window boxes for years, and Austin was able to replace rotting wood, re-side the house, and create new brackets to hang the boxes. He used a 3D printer to make new brackets in a manner that is innovative and is sure to withstand the elements. Austin is attentive to details and mindful when cleaning up each day after work. We appreciate his hard work ethic and can-do attitude!

Austin is a talented carpenter, reliable, inventive, offers recommendations on how to do things better, shows up when he says he will (or earlier), leaves the area cleaner than when he starts a job, has reasonable rates for very high quality work, and has a very engaging personality. He re-built a deck that was ten feet off the ground, and had no problem with it. He also did a super job replacing some damaged siding which required him to move heavy stone steps; built a simple rig overnight to do it. Nice guy to be around. I look forward to working with him again.

Excellent experience, communication, execution, finished work were all exceptional. He was here for the better part of a week and you would have never known we were having exterior trim work done, the space was left without a trace each day, and he arrived exactly as he said he would daily. He was approachable and knowledgeable and I would trust him with any work we have to do. I cannot recommend him enough.

I have hired Otter Brook Carpentry for two separate jobs. Austin is professional, timely, and very reasonable in the current market. He is capable of a wide range of projects from roughing in, to finish work. Austin has done work on properties dating back to the 1880’s for me and no challenge is too big for him. I cannot say enough good things about Otter Brook Carpentry. If you have a project that needs doing, there is no one better.

I hired Otterbrook Carpentry for a small house renovation project. Austin did excellent work and he was a pleasure to work with. Good communication, good craftsmanship, and good eye for detail.
