    Highly recommend NJ Custom Painting & Home Improvement. We were referred to them by another business for our small home painting/repair job we had to do for resale purposes. It was probably not the biggest job or the most desirable since Jose had to come in and finish what another paint company just up and started and didnt ever return to finish. We were in a time crunch and needed the job done quickly. Jose and 2 of his guys came in one Saturday and knocked it all out in 1 day. They covered furniture up with plastic and their work was flawless and looked amazing! The price was affordable on top of everything!     We have been so impressed with Jose and his crew. They’ve done an excellent job on the interior of our home; this required extensive prep work prior to actually painting. Each day they cleaned up after themselves leaving a livable space. The icing on the cake is the cleaning lady who comes and does a deep clean when the job is finished. These guys are really great. The quality of their application is flawless. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

    Jose and his crew have done several high level jobs for my family. He and his team go above and beyond to produce excellent quality work. They painted the entire 4200sqft interior of my house in under 10 days. They stained my deck and fence. Lastly, they painted/ refinished my cabinets. I even called them for an emergency drywall repair. They treated my home like their own. It was a smooth and effortless process. I highly recommend this company for their great pricing and quick/skilled work. Highly, highly recommend.

    Jose and his crew painted the interior of my parent’s house including removal of wallpaper. The pride in their work shows. They protected the hardwood floors and their work was so neat.     In all our years of dealing with renovations, we have never had a better experience than with NJ Custom Painting! From beginning to end of project, they were extremely prompt, friendly, but business-like, organized, prepared, polite, and helpful. We received an accurate and fair estimate, followed by a written proposal within the first day. We were given the option of buying our own paint or having brought to us. On the days of the project, the team showed up on time and went beyond our expectations and beyond what was in the contract. When they saw something that needed to be taken care of, they did it. They were very careful with our property and protected our furniture and other belongings thoroughly. Floors and cabinets were covered, and even our pets were shown consideration. The skill of the painters is the best we have ever seen. The preparation of the walls before painting was meticulous. When the job was completed, a very competent, thorough person came to clean up, and this was absolutely a fantastic feature of their service. We simply cannot say enough

    They did such an amazing job! I recently bought a 1930’s house which needed some extra loving. There were plenty of cracks and uneven wall textures throughout. Jose and his team were able to come in almost immediately and get started meticulously repairing the walls before carefully painting. The were able to complete the entire house in just one week. I was highly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to go with them again the next time I need to paint!

    NJ painting came to our house immediately after I explained that we needed some emergency drywall repairs; they showed up the same day to provide a quote. We had them also paint a large sunroom and not only were they super responsive, their work was outstanding! The drywall is completely even and NJ painting went above and beyond by fixing a number of issues, i.e. caulking cracks in the windows, fixing nail pops, etc. that we hadn’t realized were there. The team worked fast, they made sure to keep our furniture clean and the paint job is flawless. We will definitely be using NJ Painting in the future.

    NJ Custom Painting recently stained the exterior of our home. It’s a challenge of a job because it’s a three story house with cedar shakes over a first story stone riding. Therefore care had to be taken to keep any spray or drips off the stone. I have stained the house 3 times and can attest to the challenge.Jose’s crew did a wonderful job of protecting anything that was not going to be stained, including the bushes, the sidewalks, windows and even the gutters.The job was done was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them for my next job.

    This company is not only extremely knowledgeable, but they’re also honest. I’ve gotten so used to other companies trying to overcharge me that I’ve been an avid DIYer since I bought my own home.     NJ Custom Paint has done a fantastic job for us on multiple projects. We first hired them to paint the interior of one of our homes. They did such an amazing job and we quickly learned they can do much lore than just painting. We’ve used them for carpentry, framing, flooring and some small electrical projects.     What a fantastic experience! He came out to give me a quote and no ghosting. I actually received a quote. The crew showed up early to stain our two decks.     Wow! Hire him NOW! Like yesterday! :) Punctual, REASONABLE price, quality work, easy to work and kind!Let me start at the beginning. I found this company from FB recommendations on a local page. I had him and another company give an estimate and he by far beat the other quote. The wait time for starting was only 5 days away and he was have a written, emailed estimate which included all services that the estimate would cover. I will say that we discussed a few different options and his expertise was appreciated as my basement layout is odd with many walls. Before coming, he contacted asking if the space had an outdoor entrance, so that they could come and go from there (which goes it did and was very helpful in the long run!) Now, fast forward to the day of work. He and his employee showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and unloaded all the materials they would need (they used all of their brushes and equipment- all I had to provide was the paint! I will say that we had a slight misunderstanding on an extra wall to be painted, but I had messed up on my end when looking at the quote. He said it could most likely be done but they’d need to see how much time it took before giving the price for the extra space. I understood and told him to go forward with it if they had time.In the long run, they not only finished the (extra) job, but patched some holes and used primer on one section (also not on the original quote) AND painted the baseboard to make it appear fresh!When I asked him about the final payment, he said they could still do it for the same price he had quoted (even though I knew it was my fault!) I told him that was too kind, but I was writing the payment for more. If I had to give a rating on a scale of 1-10, I’d give him a 12! :D Outstanding work, outstanding price AND outstanding customer service! Will definitely be using in the future!
