    From the beginning, Royce, the sales manager came to our house and explained everything about the Kohler generator. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions and concerns. It was several months before we would be ready for installation and Royce stayed in touch and assured us that everything would still be the same. However, once everything was set, and we had the gas meter upgraded, the installation, inspection, and connection were done extremely well, timely and professionally. Justin and Brad were very personable and knowledgeable about everything regarding the generator, codes, equipment etc. They collaborated and worked well with the other contractors on site, as we had/have a lot going on at the time: egress window and patio installation. Unfortunately, we had to have the generator installed backwards so the exhaust faced away from the house, but to install on the other side would not have worked, so, it’s okay. Afterwards , Justin explained everything about how the generator works, maintenance, and follow ups. We are so very pleased with our new generator and have peace of mind in case of an outage, (which we experience quite often in our area). We need a generator so that the sump pump doesn’t stop like it did last year and we flooded and for health reasons; oxygen, heart monitors, etc. Thank you so much CRG! Everyone whom I encountered was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend CRG Electric!

    I always do thorough research before starting any home project, and for years, I’ve considered installing a generator. I’ve discussed the costs and practicality with neighbors, many of whom have had mixed experiences with different companies. After experiencing numerous power outages growing up (and now), where we constantly had to monitor the sump pump to avoid flooding, I knew I didn’t want the same worries as a homeowner. Now that I have a generator, I no longer have to stress about power outages or my sump pump. I have peace of mind knowing my home is protected, especially with the increase in outages.After speaking with a few companies, I decided to go with CRG for my generator installation. They provide free estimates, and when Royce came out to assess my home, he spent a considerable amount of time explaining the entire process. He walked me through installation options, potential placements, and even gave me a heads-up about a necessary gas meter upgrade. While the quote was a bit higher than I initially expected, a family member had a generator installed by them and was extremely impressed with the install, so much so it made me want to choose them. It was hard for me to pull the trigger but after the install was complete I questioned why I didn’t do it sooner. Let’s be honest—quality doesn’t come cheap! CRG might not be the bargain bin option, but trust me, they’re worth every penny and then some. If you’re hesitating because of the price, don’t! Their work is so good, you’ll feel like you got a steal.Royce was incredibly patient, answering all my questions and ensuring I was comfortable with every step. My installation date was set (after DTE upgraded my gas meter) and on day one, Justin and Brandon arrived promptly. Both were phenomenal throughout the installation. They were extremely professional, and walked me through every step of the process with patience and clarity. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and the quality of their work was nothing short of amazing. They treated my home with the utmost respect, and their meticulous approach left me feeling confident that I had made the right choice. The installation was flawless, and their dedication truly set a high standard.From start to finish, the CRG team was respectful, diligent, and truly went above and beyond.     CRG sent a tech to do routine maintenance on our standby generator. In the course of doing a very thorough inspection of the generator and the transfer switch, Thomas discovered that a lightning strike had burned out a circuit board.     I had my service pulled off my house due to the ice storm in February. My initial electrician called me at the last minute and cancelled my service call due to staffing issues. CRG Electrical was recommended by my siding contractor and were very quick to fit me into their schedule. When Tyler and Dominic showed up, they had my service repaired within a few hours and the siding contractors were able to complete their repairs around the service line.     Our experience with CRG Electric has been nothing but positive. Chuck came to our home to determine what needed to be done and help us choose the correct generator.     We are very happy with our experience with CRG. Having decided to get a whole house generator, we set up appointments with two companies.Chuck from CRG was the first estimate.     I had a great experience with this company. Theyre really kind and compassionate! I am disabled, and live a sedentary lifestyle. I was getting a home standby generator. The employee himself suggested I try going through my insurance company, as it is a medical necessity. Thats exactly what I did! They knew it would take longer to get paid, but that didnt matter. They promised a 1 day installation and thats exactly what they did. And they are now paid in full via my insurance company. They really made me feel like family!     I was stumped. Ive done my own electrical work for many years, but had three outlets that were running at 80V. I couldnt identify the problem. The young man from CRG that stopped by had a set method for tracking down the issue and was done fixing it in a matter of minutes. Id been puzzling over it for over 10 days. VERY impressive.     01/09/2025 – I wanted to let everyone know what an amazing and professional company CRG Electric is. We have had them do work for us in the past and on this most recent job, they did not disappoint. Brandon and Aiden were out between Christmas and New Years. They were both very professional and personable. They did all the contracted work and were flexible with the changes and additions we made after the job was started. We will continue to use CRG for any contracted electrical work we need done in the future. Very highly recommend!!

    Its a good company. Our house seems to be in a spot that always loses power. But not anymore! We really needed this service and it is a relief knowing we can count on them. I cannot give them 5 stars because their invoice for the yearly service is tricky. It gives a false total in at least 2 spots and never prints what the real total is if you are paying by cash or check. Only one sentence says you can avoid the 4% credit card charge if you pay by cash or check. You have to read the invoice very carefully, find the two charges you really owe and add them up yourself if you pay by check. And what makes it worse -- they actually say if you pay the 4% charge by mistake THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. I wrote to them last year, explaining how deceptive this is, and how it makes them look bad, but they have not changed a thing. They do not send a clear bill with the total if you pay by check.
