    This was the first time getting new floors as a home owner. Chance and Finn made this so painless and easy. Our floors came out perfect. The carpet crew followed behind them and were in and out in 4 hours. Unbelieveable. Wood flooring for the kitchen, dining room and bathroom. Carpet for living room, hallway and 3 bedrooms. So quick.

    With how frustrating and time-consuming it can be to track down contractors to do work these days it is so refreshing when you finally find a new go-to company for whatever task you need done. After my experience with Wichita Wood Floor Specialists, I feel like I have found my go-to company for anything to do with hardwood floors. After another contractor had left me hanging on the job with an approaching deadline, I made the call to Wichita Wood Floor. Within hours I received a call to set up my appointment and the very next day Dave arrived to measure my house and prepare my estimate. He did an excellent job explaining the process from start to finish that would achieve the finished look I was after. Later that day, I received the estimate online and accepted the bid and scheduled a day for the work to begin 5 days later. Their technicians Chance and Fion showed up to the jobsite every day on time ready to get to work. They were extremely personable and professional with great attention to detail. Thanks to their hard work the floors turned out great. My floors are 1-1/4” red oak I wanted a very light natural look. After sanding we utilized the Bona Red Out to neutralize the natural pinks and red tones of the red oak floor. The floors were then sealed with Bona’s NaturalSeal and two coats of Bona Traffic HD in a matte finish. I cannot say enough good things about working with Wichita Wood Floor Specialists. The whole process from start to finish was very simple and every person on their team from start to finish was very prompt, professional and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to do business again with them and highly recommend them for anything hardwood floor related.

    I highly recommend Wichita Wood Floor Specialists! Our project was to refinish the 30 year-old natural color kitchen floor, correct the splits in the finish between boards, and to match the color of the 1950s wood floors in the rest of the house.     If youre wondering who to choose to refinish your floors, I strongly suggest you move Wichita Wood Floor Specialists to the very top of your list.The knowledge, professionalism, quality craftsmanship, and friendly Kansas values of this business are remarkable and stand above the rest.They helped me make decisions about which cure to get, helped me color match the stairs, made smart and affordable recommendations when they encountered unexpected issues, finished the project EARLY (when does that happen?), and then days after everything was finished, Dave ran out here on a Friday afternoon to help me move my refrigerator back so I wouldnt scratch my floors up.We are dealing with water damage repairs and have dealt with a plethora of vendors/contractors. This group is top tier. I could not recommend them more.PS my floors came out spectacularly well. I guess thats important to mention too. After our installer flaked Dave stepped up, got us scheduled, and his guys Earin & Paul did a fantastic job.     We had the pleasure of having WWFS come in and sand and refinish our old wood floors that were in really bad shape and needed some replacement slats.Chance, Fionn and Tyler owned it.     Love it! Love it! Love it! So here’s the deal... I met David and his wife Robin (Owners) before I left for two weeks to visit my family out east. My 101 year old quartersawn oak floors looked horrible. When I walked in the front door after being away...absolutely immaculate!     We had about 1,000 sq feet of wood floors in very rough shape, including about half that was pre-finished. The guys were very professional and did an excellent job with the refinish. I was very surprised how much better the pre-finished looked once they were done. They had to patch-in a bunch of flooring. You cant tell where they did so. And (most surprising) there was very little dust to clean up after all the sanding.I highly recommend Wichita Wood Floor Specialists!

    Great experience from start to finish. Cody and Chance are true craftsman. Floors finish and stain came out beautiful and old floor stains and issues were all dealt with. Transitions and quarter round all great and match wonderfully with seventy year old trim. Even had a little billing mishap and the office was gracious and handled it very well. Cant recommend them enough!

Huge difference in appearance from the 14-year-old cherry wood floors.     I interviewed a few different companies to address the issues with my floors, and WWFS was by far the most knowledgeable and the most professional. They were always quick to answer my questions and help me pick the best options for my house. The previous stain on the floor had been done by the last owners of the house, and it was definitely a DIY result. There was a lot of stain on baseboards, and shoeprints embedded in the finished result. I was worried it may not all come up and look the way it should since we were going with a much lighter color. Austin and Daniel were the ones working on my house and they did an AMAZING job! They were so nice, and they were on time every single day. They texted me picture updates and made sure I was comfortable with every decision before moving forward. I couldnt recommend a better duo!     I cannot say enough about Wichita Wood Floor Specialists! We moved here from out of state and needed so much help with our big remodel project we had just bought. We called them because of their good reviews, but we had no idea what we were getting into. Dave came and looked at our home for new wood floors and mentioned they do not look for full remodels but can do them. What life savers they were! He set us up with their design specialist Summer and they ended up doing our painting, tile flooring, carpet and wood flooring. Their prices were sooo reasonable and did everything they could to make our budget work. Their service was absolutely top notch! They stand by their work and their installers. They were prompt and communicated so well through the product shipping waiting game and got us in as soon as our product was delivered. We had one hiccup, and they were so prompt to fix it, it didnt really seem like a hiccup. I would use them again and again.     WWFS was easy to work with. Dave personally came out to our home with some samples from emails that we sent on our particular style and wants. He took all his measurements and Robin provided us a fast quote that included sales of certain products they knew that we were interested in. They did everything we could ever have wanted from help picking out what style of wood flooring to go with our home, informative on the entire process on ordering product & scheduling the install. WWFS followed through on everything they said theyd do and Dave and Robin even personally delivered & unloaded our flooring the week before the install so it would acclimate to our home. Their installation crew was very professional, punctual and respectful to our home from demo day until completion. We love our real wood floors and wished we wouldve done it years ago. It adds such value to our home.

    We had WWFS refinish and plank our old, out dated, scratched up oak floors. We cannot express how happy we are with their work! Kevin and Paul were amazing to work with. They were on time every day and never left any messes (we typically expect to see messes because we were used to that with all our other contractors). They also finished their work when they said they were going to finish (we havent experienced that with any other contractor). Our floors look amazing!     We had 3 different companies give us a quote on refinishing our hardwood floors. WWFS were the most professional and informative of all the companies that gave us a quote. They were professional, and efficient when doing the work. Beautiful work when they were finished. Not too long after that we had them refinish the hardwood floors on a 2nd house we were selling.     These folks are the best! We had a long term project on an older home. Dave and Robin were great to work with. I was skeptical at first because the floors looked beyond repair to me, and I have never had a wood floor. We had to replace the kitchen floor and patch other areas as well. Despite some unexpected obstacles, the work was completed well before our deadline.     Friendly and helpful staff. We had shopped a multitude of flooring stores for prefinished wood flooring products and decided to compare their prices to the other stores since we knew they carried the manufacturer of the flooring we had chosen. We had also used them to refinish a floor in our rental house that were very satisfied with and wanted to give them the opportunity to give us an estimate. After meeting with Jesse and having answered all of his probing questions and getting more insight into the pluses and minuses of the myriad of choices, we determined that a custom oak floor was what met our needs. We found out that it didnt cost much more than the prefinished product and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

    These guys are fantastic! I have a friend who used them so I asked him if he like them. He told me that Id have nothing to worry about if I used them, and he was 100% correct. They are very professional, they arrive every time when they say theyll be there, they return all phone calls and their finished work looks amazing! I had my veneer oak floors refinished and they look brand new! I also had 3 floorboards that were dinted and they took it upon themselves to replace the boards, even though I told them not to worry about it! I simply couldnt be happier with these guys and this company. I will certainly call them again the next time I need floor work done.

    Monica and I had a friend recommend Wichita Wood Floor Specialists, and we went in with one idea on what we wanted, and before long we went a totally different direction. Jesse, Rachel and Monica were all a great help, and worked with our schedule to make it best for us.The actual work, we had a large area of oak cut out, carpet pulled out of two rooms, and then we had Castle Combe pre-finished floors installed. Kevin and Paul were magnificent; they cleaned up after themselves, went out of there way to take care of our concerns, and were pleasant and respectful.WWFS scheduled a week to complete the job, and they were finished in 3 1/2 days, and now we have them coming back to do another room in the same material.Theres no need to look anywhere else, because everyone that is a part of this small business wants to make sure that you are a happy and satisfied customer.

    What a great group of people to work with at Wichita Wood Floor Specialists. Dave, Robin, Summer, and Craig took their time to help educate us. We did not feel rushed to make a decision. We took home samples to “live” with, and after much research, Q&A calls, and in person visits, we decided on the product that ultimately needed to survive our busy, dirty, rowdy, four-legged, wet, and furry lifestyle. We wanted to be able to install and forget about our new floors. We had low maintenance requirements, and a desire of our floors to help hide the mess of life. Dave and his crew helped us find our perfect floor match. It is perfect. We couldn’t be happier. Kevin, Cody, and Chance did our new engineered wood floor install and we really enjoyed getting to know each of them and having these gentlemen in our home.     I had them clean wood floors in my living, dining and bedroom last year for an employee party. I gave them a challenge by showing them a white towel and asked if after they cleaned the floors I could wipe this white towel across the floor and it would still be white? Their answer was yes and the results proved it. They will be cleaning my wood floors again this year.

    I used WWFS to restore the second story bedroom straight grain fir wood floors in my 1910 Craftsman Bungalow. They arrived on schedule and had the work completed in less than a week. My floors were a mess with paint, stains, gouges, etc. They now look brand new and I couldnt be more pleased with the crew of Lance and Carlos - great ambassadors for the company. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Im sure Ill be using them in the future on other projects! (and they didnt leave a mess)

    We had Wichita Wood Floor Specialists install new hardwood flooring as well as sand and seal flooring that was installed when the house was built. The results are a stunning new floor throughout. Dave was professional and responsive. Robin did a great job scheduling around some planned travel on our part and communicating any adjustments. The installers were professional craftsmen who are proud of their work and the company they work for. There have been a few small areas that needed touched up; the follow up and work was done quickly and we have no issues. I would highly recommend this business.

    We were delighted with Jesses design suggestion for adding highlights of walnut strips in our white oak flooring to make an attractive floor design frame around our hearth, and additional walnut accent detail at the top of our basement stairs.Rachel was always available to answer questions about preserving and protecting the quality finish on our new oak floors. She and Jesse and their installers have a lot of knowledge and experience in both installation and maintenance of both natural woods and engineered floor coverings.Kevin and Paul, our installers, were always on time, worked hard, were careful, and cleaned up well after each days work. In addition to taking pride in their work, these two men provided great suggestions, and were dedicated to installing a beautiful floor that we will always be proud of.Finally, we have saved up for more than a year in order to be prepared to pay for this luxury, and now we know that it was definitely worth the wait!

    Jesse & Rachel Sample worked patiently with me several months in advance of the work to be done on my floors to pick out to best shade of stain. He came out and did several samples of colors so I could best pick what suited us. Then, they did a fantastic job getting rid of the old carpet, sanding down my existing floors, and staining it a beautiful color. Then the shiny part!! Our dining room, living room, and hallways look stunning. The transitions to the other rooms off these main rooms were made to fit each doorway (which were all different). I half expected to come home to a powder residue mess over everything, but the place was left tidy and clean for our return. Best decision ever!
