    Chris and Casie were great to work with on our two house additions. We had 3 different contractors come out and discuss plans. When Chris came out we had an immediate rapport with him. He began measuring and offering various options and solutions to our project. None of the others did anything but give us packets of information. For example, for our proposed Sunroom he suggested a cost saving 3 season with added insulation which we ended up using all 4 seasons. Another example is scissor trusses for the master suite to give me the high ceilings I wanted. He also showed us pictures on his phone of similar projects his team completed. He submitted a rough estimate within a week! For these reasons we chose Tri-County Builders.Chris and Casie visited a few more times during the process of creating the contract estimate. We signed just before Covid with a tentative break ground date several months out. Navigating all the uncertainty surrounding the Covid response didn’t phase the team, or at least we didn’t notice any disruptions.At every stage Chris and Casie were available and responsive. Their team was respectful and did good work. Every inspection passed with comments from inspectors like “they know what they’re doing”. It’s been a year since completion and we have been extremely happy with the results.Once we’re prepared to build our 2.5 car garage we will be contracting Chris and Casie (Tri-County Builders).We highly recommend Tri-County Builders.

    I reached out to Tri-County Builders, LLC looking for a general contractor to address a water damage issue that was impacting our garage door frame.Chris was very responsive and came out to inspect the issue and provided a very reasonable estimate based on what we could see without tearing into anything within the next week.After agreeing to the estimate Chris had Nick and Mike come out and starting digging into the problem. This is where we found out how serious the problem was. Nick and Mike had to stop work and call in Chris to review the damage. As with any job like this, you never know whats going on behind the scenes until you get to that point.Chris came out and looked at the issue under the siding which was impacting the primary support for the garage. Him, Nick and Mike developed a game plan on materials and what it would take to correct the issue and work was paused while a new estimate was drawn up.I had the new estimate within a couple days and of course it was higher than originally planned which was expected. We agreed to move forward with the project and Nick and Mike were back out to get the issue resolved as soon as the supplies were delivered.The finale of the project took two days to completed and you cant even tell they were here after the job was completed. Chris, Nick and Mike all maintained constant communication about what was going on and what they were doing throughout the duration of the project. They were open and honest about their thoughts on what should be done to fix the issue but accounted for mine as well.This was a great group of guys to work with and they will definitely be my go to general contractors in the future for sure. I will highly recommend them for this type of work should the need arise.Thanks for everything Tri-County Builders, LLC! Hopefully I wont require your services again anytime soon but if I do, youll be the first company I call.

    Tri County recently worked on the exterior of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and the work crew was fantastic—professional, skilled, and attentive to detail. When they finished, our yard and home were spotless, as if they’d never even been here. Highly recommend!

    We received a few quotes from a few different contractors. Tri County came in reasonable and both, Chris and Casie were upfront and honest about the process. All of our questions were addressed promptly and we are happy with our tub/shower remodel.Everyone on their team was great! 🙂We will definitely use this for our future projects!!

    Chris was the third contractor I interviewed for the job. Not only was his quote the lowest but he seemed to have the most thorough knowledge of every facet that the job would entail. He was referred by Cabinets express from whom I purchased my entire kitchen for 1/3 of the cost of a competing bid. Chris brought in an fabricator and electrician that also delivered perfection in their craft. The team worked everyday until the job was done and helped me with some manly things around the house. 1 month for a 400 sq/ft kitchen and bath top to bottom 30k. On 6 separate occasions I called him in the evening or on the weekend and he answered every single time. Every suggestion Chris Team made was Spot-on!

    I was very pleased with the quality and workmanship of Tri-County Builders. We hired them to replace a staircase, and leaned on them for a vision to improved the curb appeal. Chris was quick to meet with me to discuss my vision and budget, and returned a quote quickly. They were very busy at the time, and he was upfront about this with the proposed timeline which allowed me to plan. When my job came up in their schedule, they were on time with materials delivery and work started promptly. I was impressed with the communication throughout the build, and the craftsman really took the time to attend to each detail in the project. I was beyond pleased with the final product, and will not hesitate to use them again, as well as refer them to clients I have that need home remodeling or residential building projects completed.     Tri-County Builders did an amazing job on our kitchen (renovated due to water damage). They completed their work in a timely and professional manner.     Chris and his crew installed new vinyl flooring - they were on time and on budget. It was not an easy install but it looks fantastic!     This was a big investment for us and the guys did a great job. Due to things during this hard economic times, the job started later than we thought. Communication could have been better as to when job was going to realistically be done.Had 2 Trex decks built and replacement of fascia on house from cedar to Hardie cement boards. Also had new gutters via Green Oak gutters.Job finished by Tri-County end of October. Gutters installed end of December. Everything came out beautifully and we cant wait to enjoy our new decks in coming months when weather gets nice.

    Chris and Casie are great communicators and very professional. We did two complete bathroom remodels and are very happy with the results. They were very adaptive to changes we made and offered suggestions that we ended up taking. Dave did the majority of the work and he’s a fantastic, skilled worker.     This company is most extraordinary. The workman ship is perfection. Bobby and Kevan replaced dry wall and paneling after my basement was flooded. And also did some plumbing and electrical work. I recommend them to anyone who has this need.

    Tri-County has built our family a beautiful addition to our home. This was a long process that involved working with an architect, figuring out our needs, and lots of planning. To add complexity to our project one of our family members providing input into the project was located out of state. Chris and Casie did a wonderful job communicating with everyone involved, even out of state in different time zones. All of the logistics and building permits were expertly managed. The building crew was professional and I am impressed with the skill each trade brought to our vision.This was a significant project with lots of moving parts, once we got started I was pleased to see that the project moved along with little friction.We are very happy with how the addition turned out, the space is beautiful and well built. I will not hesitate to recommend Tri-County builders to others. We look forward to working with them for any future building projects and remodels.

    We used Tri-County Builders for a kitchen remodel. Everyone within their organization was professional, courteous and communicated on a regular basis. Chris came out multiple times to check in and ensure that work was done the way we wanted it. Andrew and Dave did our flooring and installed our new cabinets and island. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Casie checked in to make sure we knew the process and didn’t let us forget any details.     We worked with Tri County for the past year. They transformed our basement into a place that my family prefers to the original part of our house! As part of the renovation they added a beautiful bathroom and guest bedroom/office. They have doubled the size of our home by making everything into living space! They also enclosed our side porch and made a sunroom. We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out!!Tri County arranged everything! They had an architect to draw the plans, and scheduled: plumbers, electrician, drywallers, painters and someone to install an egress window. Their carpenter and everyone on staff is amazing!! Everyone is so professional and easy to work with. Chris and Casie, the owners, are very communicative and a joy to work with.We have already recommended them to friends and neighbors and will definitely continue to recommend Tri County to anyone who asks!

    Tri-County Builders created a kitchen and upgraded a bathroom for me and I am delighted with both. Ive lived with them for over a month and everything works perfectly. Chris, his employees and all his sub-contractors were friendly, respectful and did excellent quality work. The project included new plumbing and electrical work and we passed all inspections with no questions. The bathroom tile and kitchen granite countertop are almost works of art. They also created a wood post and repaired some hardwood flooring and stained them to match the existing wood. Youd never know it wasnt always there. Best of all, though, is Chris communication not only with me but with his team. I always knew what was happening next and when, and if I told any of them something. they all knew the next day. I highly recommend them.

    In the midst of the COVID pandemic, we hired Tri-County Builders to demo existing flat roof on our garage, re-route our natural gas service line, install a Gabel roof to match our house, re-sheet and side the garage structure, make repairs to an interior garage wall which had water damage, and replace existing electrical services. We are delighted with the finished product. Through the process Chris and Casie kept us informed of product deliveries, inspector visits, specialist subcontractors, and schedules, in general. Communications were up-front, clear, and thorough - no surprises. The construction Crew was professional and engaging taking the time to address any and all questions I had during the project. We will definitely consider Tri-County for our future remodeling projects, and will recommend to others.

    Tri-County did a deck reface for me and did an amazing job, I couldnt be happier. The work was done with great detail and efficiently. They actually started the job earlier then expected and didnt miss a beat. They made sure to obtain the Trex decking amount needed for the project during a shortage in lumber. I was very happy with their honesty in not adding in any additional costs to the original quote. I will for sure be using Tri-County for any needed jobs moving forward and highly recommend them.

    We asked for quotes and met with about 8 contractors/companies for a kitchen extension and primary bathroom remodel. Not only was Tri-County Builders (TCB) the most reasonably priced, but Chris was very honest about the process from the start and we got along great with him. Before even signing with TCB, we asked Chris several questions over the course of a few weeks as we were seeking the other quotes and he patiently answered each one (and continued to do so at every stage of the the process). I cant say enough good things about the teams patience! Even the crew doing the work were awesome at answering questions and explaining anything we didnt understand.The process itself had a few hiccups, which every project of this size is bound to have, but Chris and Casie were good about keeping us informed, or if I called to inquire what was coming up, they answered honestly. Other than material selections, we came in on budget (per what the quote stated). Casie was great about letting us know how much extra materials would be and confirmed we wanted to proceed with them before buying.TCB was also wonderful with pulling all of the permits and scheduling inspections (all but one passed with flying colors and the one that didnt was for a silly reason that was easily rectified), so that was a huge relief as the home owner.Our new spaces are absolutely gorgeous and well built. Even though the process took a bit longer than we all expected, I would do it all over again to get to live in this space!

    After reviewing several contractors and businesses in the Ann Arbor, Brighton and Dexter area, it was difficult to not receive a quote that was (1) greater than what I considered reasonable, or (2) a no-bid because the business was too small to remodel a kitchen. I came across Tri-county builders when looking online once again for candidates, and their company seems perfect.Tri-countys website stated that they specialized in remodels, but capable of rebuilding entire rooms if needed. I met with them, and I accepted their bid.Tri-county laid out the steps required and timeline to complete my kitchen remodel. They were reasonably priced, and responsive to all of my questions.I would recommend them to anyone (and have already mentioned them to my co-workers and friends).My job was a complete kitchen remodel (tear down everything and rebuild). Tri-county essentially rebuilt my kitchen, replaced all appliances, and modified the layout to add a new pantry.I am very pleased with the final result, and very happy with Tri-countys continued support after the project was complete to make sure there were no concerns.

    Hired them to take apart a built-in TV shelf in the basement, fix some wall damage caused by an old leak, and prime a bathroom. I got the estimate back within a few days.     Any one looking for high-quality work at middle of the road pricing, then this is the company. Chris and his team recently finished a bathroom remodel for me. It was a bit of an emergency situation for us but Chris was able to act quickly while calmly walking me through every step that needed to be done. Grant and Collin did the work and did an incredible job to say the least. The kept the house clean and orderly during the construction. They met or beat timelines and we’re all able to make quick, thoughtful decisions when necessary. After this experience, they’ll be doing my other bathroom and the kitchen and I won’t waste my time getting other quotes. Again, top notch results without the top notch price point.
