    We hired Giant Siding to do a major job at our house. We needed stucco stripped and siding as the replacement. From the initial call with Perry, to the preliminary work decisions with the office staff, and finally the work with Chris and his amazing team, we could not be happier. The communication was constant but not overwhelming. The crew was always on time, worked through the entire day and cleaned up the property every evening before they left.     We used Giant for residing of our house. Their quote was HALF of what another local competition came in at. The team showed up promptly at 8:00 am each day and worked hard all day long till quitting time at 6pm. In the process we ran into a few structural issues that Giant priced fairly and got the problem fixed extremely quickly. We had the work done while our kids were home on Easter break and the guys could not have been more patient with the kids playing outdoors etc. The team was very friendly and true masters of their craft!!! The outcome was way past our expectations! Our roof needs replacing and Giant will start next week as well as build a new deck for us! We HIGHLY recommend Giant.

    We were so pleased with the work Perry and the team at Giant Siding & Windows did on our home. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Given we contacted them in April, all of our sales calls were done on Zoom but Perry was seamless in his use of the technology and it felt no different than a face-to-face meeting. The project started on time, completed on time and on budget. His team was professional and was able to adapt on the spot to our requests, including a change to the custom lattice work. Given our house is older, they experienced a few structural issues that they were able to resolve with no disruption to the overall project. Giant is Westchester Countys only Elite Preferred James Hardie installer. After working with Giant, we can see why! Highly recommended!

    We recently purchased a house in Westchester, and knew we wanted to refresh the outside. After meeting with a few different siding and roofing companies we decided to go with Giant Siding. Perry is an expert when it comes to the business and knew how to help us narrow down some colors and what combinations worked with the James Hardie colors we were leaning toward. It’s hard to make such a big decision using a tiny sample so Perry was able to share some pictures of previous jobs and locations to see different color siding and roofs, which truly helped with our indecision. Perry was also very helpful in giving us some insight on other things we could do to our house to help make it look the way we wanted and tossed some ideas out that we hadn’t even thought of. We ordered a color that was back ordered a couple months, but the whole team was helpful when keeping us up to date on timeline and when teams would be able to come in and do our roof and come through after for the siding. Chris was our project manager and was great through the process, constantly checking and making sure we got certain things done before the crew got on property. He visited the site everyday for a walk through when the project got started and asked if we needed anything while here. He was very thorough and always kept us up to date on start and finishing expectations. The crews we had were amazing, the roof took a day with about 8 people working from start to finish. The siding team was great, all friendly, and hard working and got the job done in about 10 days. All in all we got lucky with not having any issues to account for when they started the project, but if anything would have popped up Chris would have been the first to let us know. We really enjoyed working with Giant, Perry and Chris. All very professional, helpful, and patient as we made this big decision. It has come out beautifully, and we’ve already gotten a lot of nice compliments from our neighbors on the job. Would definitely refer them in the future.

    UPDATE (12/7/23): Giant recently came out and mounted the doorbell and flagpole. They did a great job on our house and were very happy with the final product.________________________________First, I want to acknowledge that Giant Siding initially did a good job on our house. However, its regrettable that I have to write this negative review due to an incomplete job that has persisted for two months.The crew spent two weeks meticulously installing siding, but they forgot the simple task of remounting our Ring doorbell and flagpole, which remains unresolved despite numerous requests. The owner has made promises, but nothing has been done.Despite the owners recent apology and promise of completion, the job is still unfinished. The lesson weve learned is not to release final payment until all work is done. Giant Siding left us with an incomplete project, and they have not followed through on their commitments.It truly is a shame as, if not for from this issue, this would have been a much different review.

Perry and his team have been working together for years and its clear to see they have the talent and experience that produce extremely high quality results. They are not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. We could not be more pleased with their work and after hiring them to replace a roof and install new Hardie Board siding we would recommend this company to anyone for pretty much any roof and siding job one might have. Perry especially was easy to get in touch with and always made himself available for any questions, comments, concerns before, during and after the project was complete.

    We recently contracted with Giant Siding and Windows to completely tear down our dilapidated wood clapboard siding and replace it with James Hardy siding. It was a big project, and we were nervous about choosing the right vendor as how many times do you reside your house? If this review helps allay anyone’s fears about choosing Giant, then I am happy to write this.We solicited three quotes for our siding and from a pricing perspective all three were very similar in total cost. What was very different about Giant though, which at first caught us off guard but in hindsight set them apart from their competitors, was Giant’s application of technology into their bidding process. It was completely unique and in my mind a differentiator. We needed to download an app onto our phone, take pictures of our house from set angles which then gets uploaded to Giant and provides exact dimensions and measurements for material needs. It also allows the owner to provide a 3D model of what our home will look like, choosing the siding materials right in the application. It is during this working session that the owner also reviews the siding process in detail with you and reviews all of the requirements they will meet to ensure your James Hardy siding is warranty compliant. This part of the process was very smooth and greatly contributed to us choosing Giant for our project.After signing our contract, we were having some work done to our home which precluded Giant from starting right away. They were able to accommodate our schedule and start work 5 months after our contract date to ensure our previous projects completed on time. We appreciated that flexibility.Once the work started, the team was here every day from project start to completion. They were all super professional, paid very close attention to detail and were happy to answer any questions or make small adjustments to the process along the way. There was extensive sheathing damage to our home which Perry also worked with us on from a pricing perspective.The end result of the project was a complete transformation of the look of our home which is now protected from the elements for many years to come. We have had many neighbors compliment the finished product which all credit should go to Giant and their team. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have siding done on their home.

    We had Giant install vinyl siding, and after a bit of time, the siding started to melt from the reflection from our neighbors window. Apparently this is a thing that can happen! Once we remediated the reflection issue, Giant replaced the damaged siding free of charge. Thank you for the generous and helpful service!

    Giant completed our new siding project. Weve gotten many complements from our neighbors. Perrys team Mellie, Christian, Eddie, Alonso and Juan were very professional, courteous, hard working. Dan the project manager was very helpful and also very courteous as was Laurie the office manager. Overall, the siding project came out very well and we are very happy with the Hardie Board. As with any contractor, we needed to be present, ask questions and made sure that they were providing us with options -- even if they costed us some more money -- on how to deal with certain situations. Like all contractors these days, they are very busy so my only critique is that Perry or his Forman were present more often even though his team is very good. Advice: be sure that they temporarily re-fasten any downspouts that they had to temporarily loosen before they head out over the weekend in case it rains; be sure to talk through work that will need to be done after they leave (e.g., repair stucco loosened in the work; mortar pointing around existing chimney to ensure proper seal between new siding elements, etc.) not in Giants scope so that you can budget up front; get new fixtures like lights and mailboxes before work begins.

    We have just completed a huge job with Giant siding and windows. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with Perry and his team of extremely professional workers. Our experience started with meeting perry. He explained everything, his promise and devotion to quality is unparalleled. Job was completed a 1 day before the contracted stated. No corners were cut. Foreman, tony was on site each and every day. The work was extremely clean. My wife was worried about the plants around the house and these guys were able to work around and managed not to break a single branch of the plants.     If you are looking to get your siding done on your house these guys are great. The owner is local and takes a lot of pride in his family owned business. The price was reasonable. He worked with us on the price and he also has financing through Wells Fargo so you can pay it off in a years time.The quality of the work was exceptional. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our house by our neighbors and did not get one complaint about them while they were working (we live in a development with a lot of houses in our proximity).Here are some other highlights:-returned calls ASAP-workers were respectful of property (cleaned up and packed up each night)-high quality materials-finished on time even with delay in delivery of materials-owner came by daily to check on progress and to answer any questions or concerns-foreman was intuitive when it came to the details that we may not have thought of, so there were improvements along the way that made a big difference

    Giant was first contractor on my new house that quoted and held a price. The workers put in good long days and held to original timeframe quoted for the job. Any questions were answered timely. Everything that was not done but i thought should be was taken care of. They left my property almost as of they were never there.     We had a great experience with Giant. We had our siding replaced in 2011, and the siding stood up to Hurricanes Irene and Sandy (they also left us with PLENTY of extra siding when they completed the job). One month later after our siding was completed, we discovered that an exterior outlet no longer worked. They sent an electrician out, and even after we realized that the outlet failure wasnt their fault (the outlets wiring had disintegrated) they didnt charge us. When one piece of siding fell out last month, Perry fixed that for us at no charge within the week. When we told our neighbors that we were about to replace our siding, they had warned us about the stray siding nails that would litter our property. But we havent found any stray siding nails at all! Were very pleased with the final product, and we would recommend Giant with no reservations.

    Giant did a good job and I’ve received many compliments by neighbors and friends….However I was away on business when the job was done and upon my return, I noticed that there were absolutely not vents in the soffits on the front or back of the house. There were numerous soffit vents prior to having the job done meaning that they were necessary. Not a house on my street or the surrounding streets that have been resided are without soffit vents..I called and spoke to Perry Hayes a week ago and he said he would talk to the installers. I have received no answer to date and I called to remind him I’m still waiting. Placed a call after hours last night looking for a date when this would be corrected figuring i ‘d get a call today, Saturday.. STILL WAITING !Poor reflection on their customer service to fix anProblem issue created by the installer.Bob L

    I highly recommend Giant Siding & Windows for any of your siding and roofing needs. I initially chose this company because they were one of the preferred vendors of James Hardie. But other than being a preferred vendor, the owner Perry was completely honest and transparent about the entire process. I have never seen a contractor walk through every detail of the process even before the project started. Once the project was underway, it was managed very well by their project manager Cameron who was onsite and available everyday to give status updates throughout. They were always reachable if you had a question, any time of the day. Most importantly they honored and committed to their timelines and ensured the project was done in an expeditious manner without sacrificing quality. Giant Siding is very professional, respectful and attentive to each and every detail and I can’t rave enough on happy I am with the completion of the siding project. My house looks brand new and I will definitely be using them in the future for roofing needs. I highly recommend this company and you will be more than satisfied!

    Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️is not enough!This company was A++!We search long and hard to find a company that would do a really good professional job on our house. We interviewed many contracting companies but Giant stood out among the rest. What sold us on Giant firstly was Perry! He was very transparent about the procedure, so patient and accommodating. He explained the procedure, answered a million questions. Upon request he gave us addresses of houses that Giant had done in Westchester so we could see how a completed house would look. When we requested to speak to some of the homeowners, he made that possible as well.The materials for the construction as well as the dumpster and the Porta potty arrived on time and were removed in a timely manner at the end of the job.. His crew was excellent! They worked extremely hard. They were very polite and respectful. Perry and Cameron from Giant were always available to answer our questions and came around as the work proceeded.
