I hired Midwest Construction fix, strip, and stain my wood deck recently and I am thoroughly impressed with the job they did. I worked with John and it was a great experience from start to finish. He took the necessary information and emailed me a detailed estimate within a couple business days, laying out each individual task and cost. The best part is that Midwest never deviated from that number, and there were no hidden fees tacked on at any point. What I signed up for is what I paid, and it was a very fair number.Their overall work was amazing, you cant even tell that the replaced boards and posts arent part of the original deck. They did a great job of blending it in with the existing wood and it looks fantastic. Considering I needed custom woodwork done too on the posts, that says a lot about the level of craftsmanship I received.If you have anything that needs to be done to your home, I recommend giving them a call first! Chris at Midwest was one of three contractors we reached out to after we discovered water damage in our basement. A claim was filed with our insurance company.With his help the estimate got thru our insurance company in one day.Again with his help we were approved for more monies than approved by the insurance adjuster.Once started, over the course of the project we had his electrician show up, demo team, cabinet man, granite contractor, flooring people, painters. and content movers and the project was completed on time. No project over runs do to his errors only upgrades my wife and i chose to pursueEverything went seamlessly and if there was an unforeseen activity it was addressed expeditiously.His workers and office staff were kind and professional.A great choice

Had our roof replaced, quoted at a very far price. Got the job done in two days was right on schedule. Garbage was removed quickly and clean up was remarkable, and they didnt leave anything behind. The roof looks amazing! My husband and I WILL be back to work with Midwest Construction for home remodeling.
