    CPS has been very responsive in general and they make an effort to get things done in a timely manner. The one area which has been a little uneven is that different technicians have more or less experience and sometimes they don’t communicate with us about their progress. It would be nice if there was more transparency in the invoice about parts cost vs labor, but we think that overall their pricing is competitive. We recommend CPS without hesitation.

    Samuel from CPS came out to evaluate a problem we were having with our four year-old mini split system that was installed by another company. He was professional, knowledgeable, and provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong. After the visit, Alicia in the CPS office was a joy to speak with and a fair quote was provided that day. CPS was quickly able to send Samuel back with Paul and CJ to make repairs and bring our system back up to working order using the proper techniques and materials. All three of these technicians were excellent and a pleasure to work with. After our experience with the previous company and not receiving a reliable finished product or any measure of positive customer service, we are delighted to now call CPS our HVAC company of choice. They earned it and are truly experts in their trade and take great pride in their craftsmanship.

    HVAC experience reviewA month ago, the outside unit of our homes (Grafton, MA)air conditioner stopped working. Many HVAC technicians determined that the condenser of the AC unit had died and the unit was using R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer legal in Massachusetts. Consequently, I received several quotes ranging from 12k to 30k dollars for replacing the whole system. In addition, none of the recommendations met the existing system, so I contacted one more company. Their response led me to contact the Carrier dealer since the old system was a Carrier unit. On July 22, Danny from CPS Corporation (Comfort Product Specialist, Westborough, MA) visited the unit. I tried to share previous diagnoses with him, but he didnt seem interested. After taking a few pictures of model numbers, he left. After an hour, he emailed me a new quotation, which was perfect for my budget. On July 25, Joshua, Curtis, and Paul, technicians from CPS HVAC, came to install a Carrier system. Throughout the day, they worked with a great deal of precision and skill. A pair of electricians came to correct the circuit breaker and outlet location codes that had changed over the years, and they did an excellent job. It is my opinion that additional charges may arise soon, but I am ready to pay them if they do. The end result was that they just charged me what they promised and said they had prepared those issues in advance. As far as service integrity is concerned, Danny truly represents CPS. Moreover, Joshua and Curtis are the companys greatest assets, as I am awestruck by the quality of work they perform. Furthermore, those guys are not just a great asset of CPS Corporation, but also a building block for creating a mature environment in Massachusetts.

Apparently my heating system, of three years old, was put in by a builder, and really did a botched job.     Inspections by CPS personnel have kept our roof-top heating and cooling unit in tip-top shape with annual inspections since we moved to the Boston area. When our air-conditioning condenser eventually failed in 2023 after 15 years, CPS installed a replacement unit thats even more effective than our previous model. Peace of mind is hard to come by these days, but CPS service and expertise always come through! We also decided to move ahead before winter with a replacement for our home heating system, which was installed this month and will provide reliable service for years to come.

I don’t recall who the technician winterized it but he was not even aware that I had a radiant floor heating system. It needs to be bled every fall and that wasn’t done. T that subsequently charged over $300 again. For this reason, I probably will not use you again next year.

Beautifully installed two boilers, great care was taken over the routing of the plumbing, they spent time troubleshooting a very old hydronic system through a 100,000sqft health club getting everything back up and running on schedule and with great communication.     I was quite impressed with the two service guys, Danny B. and MarkD., plus with Melissa from the Marlboro CPS office who was so helpful in setting up an appointment with CPS as soon as possible to service my cooling unit. The service men who were outstandingly professional. They were thorough about examining the unit. As they did this, they not only explained but showed me exactly why the unit wasnt working properly.     Found this place by accident when we moved into a new house and they were using CPS for the HVAC needs. I figured they were local and seemed like great reviews so we went ahead and called them again. Their quality is top-notch and we have only had one small issue with one of their techs (he forgot to turn the A/C unit back on and we had no idea so we thought the whole thing was shot on a super hot Spring day - I flipped the switch after hours of looking everything else over and we cleared that up) but outside of that its been a pleasure. Miguel came to my house this morning to fix a leak we discovered after this past weekend of warm weather and I cant say enough about how nice he is. He is always warm with his greetings and even says hello to my kids! He explains the situation well and offers quick fixes not making me waits weeks to have a fix. I called this morning at 9AM and Miguel was here by 10:15AM (not sure about you, but even the police dont come that fast in some towns :) and found my leak in 10 minutes. Had a new pipe installed quick and the costs were super reasonable. I have used a lot of local companies since moving back to the metrowest and havent had great luck so Im delighted that CPS is making my home ownership easier!
