    Berkshire Heating and Air has been a great service provider. When our old water heater failed in January, they came out the same day to evaluate the issue. They had a new one installed in two days! Today the technician was out this morning, right at the scheduled time of the appointment. Jason was courteous and efficient. When he finished the job, he explained what annual service tasks were performed. We continue to be very happy customers.

    Came home from work on a 20° evening to find my house ice cold and furnace not working. Called for emergency dispatch and spoke with Tim. After gathering some info he said, Ill see you shortly. 10 minutes later dude shows up with his Home Depot bucket and went right to work. 20 minutes after that our system was working perfectly. Tim was very kind, personable, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He even offered advice on our old water heater. We decided to pay in full for a 2 year service agreement which gets you a lot of perks and is very affordable. Regular maintenance, priority dispatch, reduced cost parts and whatnot. A very good deal for these older New England homes. I was a little embarrassed about the cleanliness of our kitchen, but a true professional Tim was, he said not a word 🤪 10/10 would recommend calling Berkshire Heating & Air. Your NEIGHBOR just did!” dont quit your day job, Josh. 😉

    This review is long overdue. We have nothing but great things to say about Berkshire Heating & Air Conditioning (BHAC). Several years ago, we purchased our home in Westfield, MA, and another company installed our new furnace and central air conditioner. Soon after the installation, they quit providing annual maintenance. Thank goodness they referred us to BHAC! Our only regret is that BHAC didn’t also install the appliances, but that was our fault for not finding the best company.Using BHAC’s monthly payment plan, we signed up for annual maintenance for both the furnace and air conditioner. The cost is reasonable, and the automatic monthly payment makes it easy and even more affordable.At BHAC we’ve received skilled phone service from Nancy and Kathy. They are great communicators, providing clear information, answering questions, scheduling our appointments and even giving recommendations on other good service providers. Just friendly good customer care! Thank you, Nancy & Kathy!Jason Boulia was our first Service Tech for both the furnace and air conditioner. He is amazing. He takes the time to look everything over and identify any issues. Unfortunately, due to poor installation of the furnace, we had a few leaks and problems that were causing corrosion and mold. Jason talked us through everything and fixed the problem or identified that it was under warranty with the original installer. We’re sure he saved us lots of money further down the road. During our first spring air conditioner maintenance, he was very informative about its condition and proper maintenance. He did a great job cleaning it. Thank you, Jason!Keith Bilton, Plumber, provided a home-plumbing inspection and gave us an estimate for renovating our bathroom plumbing. He’s knowledgeable and communicates well.     I would like to say thank you so much for your service and time. My furnace is old, but they took the time to clean and service it. Their staff is top-notch and get you all set quickly as possible. Their techs know their stuff. I would highly recommend them to have them work on your ac or heating!

    This morning at 8:00 a.m. I called Berkshire. My air conditioning went out over the weekend. The call center told me that someone would be here between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. today. At 12:45 the technician, Tim, called and said he would be at my house at about 1:00 p.m.. he showed up very professionally introduced himself. I explained what happened. He went right to my air conditioning condenser and had it fixed within 15 minutes. I was very impressed by his knowledge, he wasnt even bothered by me standing there. Trying to learn more about my AC unit and asking him questions. Tim was outstanding!I will use Berkshire again in the fall for my furnace Tune-up and recommend them to my own clients.

    Previously I had used another heating company who had installed my furnace. A year after installation, I had numerous problems. One thing after another happened. They were not very attentive & so I decided to contact Berkshire this year. Several of my neighbors use Berkshire & now I know why. They give excellent service.

    Very happy with Berkshire. I called yesterday, after having no heat for 2 days and they fit me in today. Our tech was Sean and he did a great job. Friendly and courteous. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. Didnt get charged an arm and a leg, I felt the price was very fair and less than I thought. I would definitely recommend them.

    My boiler needed to be replaced. I called Berkshire and they made an appointment for Doug Macy to come out and assess my situation. He was on time, professional, and quick to provide a quote along with financing option. We completed the application over the phone and had an installation set for two weeks later. Tim and Scott did great work and had everything completed in one day. My new system is working well and I am very pleased.

    We had a mini split system installed by them, we absolutely love the system and theyve done a good job with maintenance and customer service. Only issue I could complain about is the sales rep made it seem like we would be eligible for a state rebate when we got the system but it was not eligible for that. Also were recommended several people to them who ended up getting systems installed but we only got thefinders feethey advertise once. Even though they kept telling my mother that we would get it for referring her and her getting a system installed we never got it

    Berkshire Heating & Air today installed a mini split in my sunroom in Longmeadow. Steve and Brian, the installers, were top notch. Great guys who worked really hard making it perfect. Bob the electrician was super helpful too and gave me some great advice. Pricing was excellent and to have the entire process from ordering to installation done in a week was simply remarkable. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Most recently on the yearly A/C system start up and cleaning that was performed by Jason, he was very professional, on time and courteous. We have an old boiler that quit working in the dead cold of winter and they had a highly skilled and friendly technician, Andrew, out to our house very fast and they were able to quickly diagnose and get parts and get our heat back up and running!     We had a great experience with Richard Simmons! He arrived at a great time ready to help us with our furnace. Upon arriving he realized our furnace was deemed working but only running on low flame only and as confused as we all were about the situation he looked further and found that the problem had to do with the installation of the wiring our furnace which was newer and wouldnt go to into stage two heating. Installed by Girard that were no help to us and told us they were only doing mini splits now and were no longer currently doing furnaces and air conditioning and that they would not be helping us. So needless to say it was amazing that Richard had found the issue! He went right to work on it and had our tenant with heat after so much trouble trying to find the issue when another company that we hired that could not find it and we had previously paid for and found nothing. amazing job! Highly recommend Richard/Berkshire Heating & Air Conditioning! They know what they are doing!

    I had another heating company install a furnace pump some 6 years ago only to learn that it was improperly installed, did not match/ properly fit my furnace and over the past year it became increasingly unreliable. This time I called in Berkshire Heating, and my technician was Brandon who is incredibly professional, showed me exactly what was previously done wrong, and in detail what needed to be fixed.     Ran into issue with another company called Berkshire, within 20 minutes had plumber at my house. Due to design of my house they were unable to find a water heater to fit without moving my furnace or cutting into my bathroom so they ordered a part we werent originally going to do. Was told between 1-4 the next day, at 105 at my door.Chrissy the service manager was great to deal with, Scott the plumber was very friendly polite and helpful .Would absolutely call Berkshire for any service i need in the future

    We had a great experience working with the Berkshire installation crews installing our central air conditioning unit. They worked efficiently and kept the house clean while they worked. The Lennox system was installed on June 1, 2016 in two days and has worked great. Their prices were competitive against others if not better for the total system equipment. After they left I had an issue which caused water to leak onto my basement floor, approx. 2 hours later. I called, after hours, and an emergency tech arrived that night. He made an adjustment and the problem was fixed. The next morning I was contacted by the main office as a follow up.

    Berkshire Heating and Cooling service tech Benny Flores, brought my furnace back to life after Pioneer Heating and Cooling pronounced it DOA. A Pioneer tech. came over and he seemed completely baffled by the extended heating system i have, he couldnt get the heat to go on after basically cleaning the site glass, refilling the boiler, and checking the system pressure, said the burners were rusted and need to be replaced.SOI called Home Solutions/Columbia Gas and they sent over Benny Flores from Berkshire Heating. Benny was amazing. He knew exactly what kind of extended heating system I have, and he was not only able to quickly diagnose the problem, he actually removed the tubes, cleaned them out and did addl fine tuning and fixed the system!He was also completely professional, super informative and wore a mask the whole time, Next time I need Heating system repair or maintenance im calling Berkshire and requesting Benny!

    One of the best experiences with Any company I have ever used and I am 60 years old. I Called Berkshire Heating & AC because they were one of two companies recommended by the manufacturer of the Heil furnace I have. I called them at 3pm on a Friday afternoon because water was leaking out of a condensate pump onto my cellar floor until I had to shut the furnace off. The technician showed up a 4:30pm, actually had a replacement pump in his truck and the repair was completed within an hour at a very reasonable charge. I would strongly recommend this company to everyone.

    Jason recently serviced my two air-conditioning units. Not only did he do a thorough inspection, but he discovered that they air did not seem to be circulating properly and discovered that the registers were not installed properly which was blocking the vents and returns. He took the time to check everyone throughout the entire house and corrected the problem. He also noticed that a gutter extension near the condensers was bent and water was pooling within it, which he emptied out. Kudos to Jason for being so thorough and conscientious!Larry G

    First time customer of Berkshire heating. My oil boiler had bit the dust and needed to be replaced. Called up Berkshire and they had Doug the comfort advisor to my house the same day he checked my old system out and give me a estimate for replacement with natural gas system. The price was very fair and Tim who did the install was a great guy very well mannered and professional. He answered all my questions and explained everything to me. Also want to thank Tims crew for their kindness and the excellent job the had done.From start to finish of the boiler replacement it went so smooth. Very pleased and impressed with the service that I received.

    Berkshire heating and air conditioning was quick to come out and give us a quote to replace our gas furnace and hot water heater. We have a unique set-up in our home, and the person that came out to do the quote (Doug) took the time to run through what our different options were, and answered my numerous questions about each one. Our technicians, Rich and Jim, were on-time, professional, and cleaned up the work areas entirely. They were able to complete the job in the time quoted, and made sure the systems were running properly before leaving. I cant speak to the longevity of the systems installed, but so far we are very happy with the service we received in replacing both units.

    Routine dervce call. The tech benny, was friendly couteous and knowledgeable. He took his time assessing the furnace and replaced a part i knew was going. Since my furnace is tired and needs to ultimately be replaced, he referred me to their sales department. Their salesnan brian, responded in a timely fashion and laid out financing and payment options, as well as rebates that are available. Bottom line i,m getting a new furnace for 0% financing and a rebate and 10 year warranty on parts and 5 years on service. This will ultimately cost about 3000. Not bad for a system that will be good for 25 years.will let you know how the installation goes
