Let me start with the fact that they do FREE estimates, who doesnt love free. I was contact by Damon who came and did the measurements and send me the work estimate. I want to mention that Damon was very flexible when he came back the same day to speak to my husband who wasnt home at the time of Damon first visit. Once there was an agreement, the work was performed within a week.We are very satisfied with the job done by Hartford Fence Company, the professionalism of the workers, and the respect they showed to my property. I recommend HFC for your fence needs.

Very happy I went with Jordan and Hartford Fence Company. From the very beginning he was upfront and honest about the the process and pricing start to finish. While I called many other companies about fencing, Jordan was the only one who showed up when they said they would. Others showed up late or just didn’t! (I had 3 companies no call/no show on my scheduled appointment dates/times that THEY set up for me!) He gave me many options to choose from and didn’t try and push one or the other on me to choose. Jordan kept in touch with me while I was still getting other quotes and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. His crew that worked on my project was professional and courteous and left my yard looking as clean as it did before they got here, looks even better with the new fence! The fence looks amazing, added value and privacy to our house. Good quality. Fair Price. Very Prompt Service.We adopted a rescue dog. While our electric fence had worked very well for retrievers we had had since pups, we thought the training process would be traumatic for a rescue, so we opted to fence in our yard. In the past, we had used another well-respected fence company that had always done good work. That other company could not get to our home for months. So we called Hartford Fence. We had an estimate within days. The fence was installed within a week of our accepting the estimate.

As far as I am concerned, Hartford Fence Company is the ONLY fence company! We did our due diligence when searching for a fence contractor and HFC was extremely competitive with both pricing and timing. Where other companies were quoting 4-6 weeks for install, they offered one-day installation the following week.Damon was wonderful to work with and even came out to our property a second time when we decided to alter our original plan. He was patient, prompt and put me at ease during all touchpoints, and was on-site for our first measure and on the morning of our install.Jordan was equally wonderful to work with. He was on-site the day of our install and went above and beyond to get our job completed on time (I’m still in shock they completed our yard in a day). WOW! I just rounded to corner on my street and squealed with excitement at the sight of my new fence! I felt like I was on an HGTV show. After a couple of years of putting lipstick on a pig and trying to pretty up my rotting fence, I called Jordan and his team. We met and he recommended the best options to compliment my style of house, and showed me examples in the showroom and on his phone. He was so great and honest. Imagine my surprise when I met Abi and his crew this morning, and came home to the completed project! They were very professional and meticulous. I swear even the dirt looks shinier. I loved working with HFC, their communication was wonderful, and the finished product speaks for itself. My only regret would be not calling sooner!

I cannot say enough good things about Hartford Fence Company and Jordan. We were looking to replace an existing rotted, stockade fence with a lattice top, with something more contemporary/transitional that would still look good with a 1936 colonial house. We liked the look of horizontal fence slats, but needed the right design to bridge the gap between old and new. Hartford Fence has a unique fence design that perfectly married the two looks, utilizing a rot-free, powder coated metal post set in concrete (NEVER ROT) with a cedar horizontal panel. We installed the new fence next to an existing wrought iron fence and the two could not be more complimentary of one-another. The installation was quick and efficient, and Jordan personally worked with us to iron our any punch list items. We constantly get compliments on the fence and I give them my highest recommendation.

The fence that was here when we bought the house was falling apart and Jordan came here promptly to help us decide how to fix/replace the fence. I reached out to Hartford Fence to come out to give me a quote for the front and back fence. Jordan came out provided me with a quote within a short period of time after measuring. He was very personable, professional and answered all questions I had. A few days later the workers came out to do work. I was not sure how much Jordan was listening to me, but when I seen them put the wood blockers out in front I was so ecstatic. The whole reasoning for me getting the fence and doing all this was because my neighbors always has multiple guests and they would park on my lawn and block my driveway. I cant be anymore pleased or satisfied with how everything came out. If you need fence work done please don’t hesitate to reach out to them. You wont be disappointed. I plan on working with them again for the fence in the back.

Wow, just wow! From the moment I’d submitted the inquiry online to having a fullly installed fence - less than 2 weeks! Jordan came out within 2 days of me requesting the quote, was very kind and personable and talked me through the options (specifically for me around where it made the most sense to have gates) and he sent me a quote within the hour. I’d already gotten a few quotes and I was happiest with this one and with Jordan, so signed almost immediately. He’d then let me know my install date was about a week and a half out, scheduled for 2/20 - which to me already seemed so fast. He then contacted me a day or two later to say they’d moved things around on their end and ask if it was ok they come EARLIER - 2/15! Of course that was welcome, and that day was yesterday. They arrived around 8am, the entire fence was installed and yard cleaned up, trucks and crew gone by 5:30 pm. Amazing how quick the crew worked, Jordan was here for some decisions that needed to be made and quickly contacted me to sort them out. Overall - I couldn’t be happier. Just one being who’s maybe happier than me… my dog!!

We did 3 bids for our fence - they were not the least expensive but the most trustworthy from their reviews. It was a job that was on the smaller side, however the terrain and rock formations made it complex. From the time that Jordan came to quote the job, to all the follow up afterwards, the process was impressive. The appointment was reconfirmed and the crew showed up on time. We had a few tweeks and feedback during the installation, and Jordan was right there on phone and text to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. They sent someone out with some unexpected equipment so that the crew could continue working. We love the result and I highly recommend Hartford Fence and particularly Jordan as the sales representative.

The adjacent section was bent due to the removal of the old shed and that section needed to be fixed. Also included in this project was the back gate could not be closed due to the sloping terrain, a broken latch in the front gate.Jordan returned my call the same day and came to give us estimate the next day. He gave me a quote on the spot. His quote sounded reasonable and we decided to go ahead based on the excellent reviews and also because he is such a friendly and likable person.The actual job was scheduled three days later. Rambo and his team did a fantastic job completing all of the work mentioned above. They encountered some difficulties but resolved them with enthusiasm. They asked us to double their work to make sure that we are satisfied and they cleaned up the site afterwards.Jordan has a pretty efficient system from giving estimate to scheduling to making payment. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this company with no reservation.

Installers lead by Arturo Perez, was on time, listened and cared about the details and executed despite of some miscommunication . Wow! Can I give more than 5 stars?Lets start with the inquiry I made on the website. Within 24 hours I had a reach out by Jordan. Just as an aside, it was on Labor Day because he wanted to make sure he got to his emails before he went back to work the day after. We had a lovely chat and scheduled a time for him to come and look over our needs. We outlined what we needed, showed him the yard. He asked a few pertinent questions and we answered them and off he went. He gave us a good quote and when we went back to him and asked a couple of questions and wanted to change; he made it right away. When we told him we wanted to go with Hartford Fence, he thanked us profusely and within 24 hours had scheduled the installation. That happened to be the next day. At the appointed hour the crew showed up; what a delightful group of young men who were eager to get to work. Unfortunately about 2 hours in, the skies opened up and it rained in buckets with a lot of thunder and lightning. The crew, with our approval and Jordans, knocked off for the day. It seemed like they were disappointed they couldnt finish. They were back on site the next day and did finish. We hired Hartford Fence Company to replace our privacy fence and we are so happy with their work! They responded to my on-line request for an estimate immediately and I met Chris at my home the next day. I told him I wanted to replace my entire fence and use a more decorative panels. He told me that he would do that but warned me that it would be pricy. He made a couple of cost saving suggestions and sent me estimates a couple of hours later. We waited a few days to hire them because we wanted to get estimates from other companies; one company never responded to my inquiry, one estimate was $1,600 higher and one company sent me an email saying they would be out but never showed up. (They called me weeks after Hartford Fence installed my new fence). Hartford Fence came out to install our fence a couple of days after we hired them and completed the installation in one day. It looks beautiful! I highly recommend Hartford Fence Company!

I didn’t even know until after they finished the job that they won a BBB Business of the Year Award in 2015 but it didn’t surprise me at all to learn it.We hired Jordan and Hartford Fence Company to install a large driveway gate on our property. We have a detached garage that’s in our backyard and our driveway extends to the back to meet it. With two dogs, we wanted the yard to be completely enclosed with a gate but also needed it to be able to easily so we could park our cars in the back. My wife is a medical student (aka VERY busy) and made the mistake of trusting me with getting the gate (keep reading, Jordan made this story have a happy ending). Hartford Fence Company gave us the best quote by $500 so I went with them.Our neighbors fence borders our driveway so I thought (erroneously) that I should probably get a gate that matched their 6ft tall stockade fence. I wanted a privacy fence so I told Jordan to just give us a gate that was also 6ft tall to match our neighbors. I was very confident with my decision and he gave me EXACTLY what I asked for, perfectly installed. (Again, this was my terrible design… not Jordan’s). Unfortunately, as soon as the job was done I was reminded of why I leave design decisions to my wife. I sent her a picture and she hated it. She texted me back and said, “It’s perfect…if we’re preparing for the zombie apocalypse. It should be very easy to string barbed wire over the top.” She also pointed out that it would be good for scaring off trick-or-treaters because it looked like a gate someone would install if they wanted to arm a militia or run a pit bull fighting ring in the backyard. We have two pit bulls who do love to wrestle and I could see how the noises from behind a gate like that could cause some confusion. I digress.She called Jordan and briefly explained her concerns. The job was done and I had already paid so I wasn’t sure what he could do but he told her, “You know what, this is easier to discuss in person, are you home right now?” He came over immediately. They spent about 30 minutes examining the gate, talking about what she had in mind, what she had been expecting, what kind of “vibe” she was hoping for, etc. His enthusiasm and passion for creating something that we’d really love and be proud of was contagious. He has an awesome energy, we were all getting excited about the gate!Anyways, he took the gate off the hinges later that week. He worked on it by himself all weekend to modify it into a custom design that he and my wife discussed and on Monday he reinstalled a masterpiece. The wife LOVED IT. Even after all the custom metal work and modifications, the price was still well under what we were quoted for my original “Walking Dead” style fence….so you know I was thrilled.The phenomenal customer service didn’t end there. A few months later, Jordan was doing another job on our street and when he drove by, he saw that we were getting a new driveway. He called us up and offered to remove the gate and reinstall it at the new height because the new asphalt would be too high for the gate to close, at no cost!!!! Not just that, when we were having trouble getting a hold of our asphalt guys to find out what day they were coming, Jordan called them himself and coordinated with them. We’re completely blown away by this guy and can’t recommend him and his crews highly enough.

The work crew was one of the most dedicated Ive ever seen. In one day 75% of the fencing was done and the next day the rest. A first class fence was done in 2 days.

The Hartford Fence Crew did an excellent job installing the wood fence in my backyard. I have a very steep hill and they installed the wood pickets individually and they look great. They did the entire job in a day and a half. I would definitely recommend them for fence installations.

This happened on a Tuesday, and by 6:00 p.m. Wednesday we had a new, 8-foot fence all along our driveway. The workmanship is impeccable, the crew was efficient and cleaned up after the job, and the entire experience was a positive one in every regard.
