    Anthony and helper were very punctual, arrived at 7:30 as promised. Installed 4 light fixtures and whole house surge protector. Very considerate of surroundings in the house, guarded against mishaps and were very tidy. His assistant was having his first day on the job, just graduated from tech school. They work well together and I was glad to see Anthony was being patient and instructive with him. We need young people being encouraged to enter the trades for people like me that cant put a nut on a bolt! They were done by noon. When next electrical issue arises I will call New London Electric.     Great experience from scheduling the appointment, to communication from the office, to Anthony and his assistant Chris doing the installation! Arriving on time, they did a fantastic job installing two wafer downlights and a whole house surge protector.     I had reached out to New London Electric after reading good reviews. The receptionist that answers the phone was extremely polite and nice. They were able to fit me in on a tight schedule as other electrical contractors I had called never got back to me. Anthony and an apprentice showed up to install a 110 outlet for stove as well as an entire home surge protector for the house. They were prompt, courteous, clean and answered any questions I had. Anthony even walked me through how to operate my emergency box for when power goes out to attach a generator too. I highly recommend them to anyone. I will surely be calling New London Electric back for any necessary electrical repairs. Thank you.

The technician, Tony, arrived within 3 hours. Tony was thorough in his evaluation and completed the necessary repairs with surgical precision. He maintained a professional demeanor throughout and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Much thanks to the New London team.Follow up 11/11/24 — Paul and Edwin came out to replace the meter box in order to complete definitive repair for what initially caused the power surge.     Today was my first time using New London Electric. Great service-oriented company. They added panel wiring to connect an electric generator. They not only did a beautiful install, Paul helped me try out the generator unit and made sure I understood how to connect and disconnect it. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend. Their wait time for an install may seem a bit long, but its totally worth it.

    I have to say this company I would highly recommend. Everyone was very nice, especially Jessica in the office who I did give some grief to when she told me the generator was going to take a few more weeks before it could be installed. (I did apologize to her though) Also, Matt and Scott whom did the install were great to deal with on a very cold windy day! I give them credit.. I would not want to be out there in the freezing cold and wind!

    Tony did a great job! I was preparing for a hello and goodbye, heres your bill, and we have no time now to deal with your list. Instead, Tony walked the entire house with me, up and down, and inside and out, allowing me to show him every concern. He addressed my outlet safety issues in one visit, and explained where switches and wiring elsewhere were fine. I learned that adapters and power strips have lifespans. He said I do not need a new electrical panel as Id been told by another outfit, and noted that my older surge protector wires had been cut. At his recommendation, I had a new whole house surge protector installed on the spot, while many storms were still in the area. The trip charge included the first hour of labor, and subsequent hourly charges are proportioned. Im delighted to have found New London Electric!

I am a retired Disabled American Veteran and Paul and Dylan came to work on my home. My lights and power was spiking due to excessive corrosion from water infiltration into my Service Panel. I needed an entire new 100 AMP service.Well, these guys, this Team and New London Electric took care of this Veteran and did an awesome job! The service is sealed from future water penetration.     We were so impressed with the care and quality that Paul and Matt showed when hanging our new light fixture, inspecting our wiring and fixing a few three way switches. The light they hung had eight glass mason jar-like pendulums hanging from the ceiling of a two story entryway. I never even heard the glass so much as clink during the installation! The multi-pendulum light did not include instructions and Paul went the extra mile of looking it up on the manufacturer’s website to make sure he hung the different size globes in the right order. Their professionalism and skill was outstanding. We’d recommend New London to anyone looking for a quality job at a fair price.

    New London Electric rates another 5 Stars for the work they did for me today. They have done a number of jobs for me and each time it has been 5 Stars. The excellent team they sent today, Keith, Matt and Drew, was easy to work with. We had an extensive punch list of issues to address and they worked through the list, asking for input when needed, offering advice and solutions when an issue came up (as they often do with electrical items).At the end of the day, I had the fixtures and electrical switches installed and working well. What more can one want. Oh, and they cleaned up after doing all the work. These are the reasons they deserve a 5 Star rating.

    The breaker for our stove kept tripping. Tony came out to trouble shoot and found that one wire connected at the breaker was loose causing the wire to heat up and the breaker to trip. He checked the breaker and found it was also bad due to the loose wire. He replaced the breaker and also installed a whole house surge protector. The cost was reasonable for both.Tony was very friendly and experienced. I would recommend both Tony and New London Electric for any of your electrical needs.

The owner did personally reach out to discuss the issue with me and expressed his side of it and listened to mine. Turns out it was peco’s responsibility. He quickly diagnosed the potential issues, and was thorough in exploring the plug(s) responsible for the outage, including explaining what the potential issues where and how wed rectify them. After fixing the two areas, which included replacing a faulty plug and resetting the GFCI switch on another, he recommended installing a circuit breaker surge protector. It was another quick conversation to discuss the benefits of the device and install it.Overall I am very happy with my service and with Anthonys expertise.

    I made the mistake of trying to install a dimmer switch on a 3 switch outlet. Big mistake! I damaged the outlet and tried to hire a handyman to fix my mistake. This was mistake #2. I didnt get this outlet fixed until hiring New London Electric. Working with New London Electric was great. They quickly diagnosed the problem and rebuilt the outlet. All the equipment and supplies they needed were on their truck. They left to work area cleaner than how they found it as well. I should have hired them the 1st time.     Ive dealt with many contractors in my life, and I have to say I was very impressed with New London Electric for their professionalism, down-to-earth approach and customer care - not only by their own employees, but of their sub-contractors as well. They installed a 24kw generator with transfer switch - requiring rewiring the main electric panel as a sub panel to the transfer switch, installation of a 6x6 treated wood generator mounting platform on a slope, installation of 24 feet of gas line, and of course the generator itself. On installation day, they had 4 men working, and covered the floor with tarps as they had to go inside and out. They we nice. Really nice - and answered all my stoopit questions with respect. No B.S. Their work was neat and clean. They knew exactly what they were doing. What a great organization. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    I had New London install a generator and auxiliary panel. Excellent work all around. I felt like I was in good, knowledgeable hands from the time of the consult through the completed installation. The technician took the time to make sure I was getting everything I wanted on the new panel and stuck around to fire up the generator the first time for a quick tutorial. Highly recommended!

    Keith and Matt came out just a few hours after I called New London Electric concerning a damaging power surge. They checked the panel and suggested installing a whole house surge protector to prevent damage to electronics throughout the house caused by a high wind damage to power lines and transformers.Very professional and competent.     I found New London Electric online. A very polite and professional person answered the phone right away. Within minutes I was placed on their schedule only days away and all my information and desires were accurately recorded. The following day, the president of NLEI called me to discuss the details and ask very pertinent questions to ensure I would receive the best service possible. I was already very impressed with their efforts. The licensed Electrician arrive on-time and completely prepared. He was polite and friendly, he asked about the details of the job before he started to make sure the line of communication was accurate. He was fast and very effective. During which he discovered a potentially dangerous issue I was unaware of. He discussed it with me including the approximate cost thoroughly. When the work was completed I was more than delighted with the results. Everything I needed repaired functioned flawlessly.The following day their President called me again to inquire about the service and my satisfaction level. I work in manufacturing, and I dont believe I have experienced a better system and application for ensuring, once a new or existing customer makes the first phone call, until the work is completed, that their total satisfaction and delight is absolutely guaranteed!Thank you New London Electric for a job well done.

    TJ and the crew at New London Electric are such a pleasure to work with that we have been using them for over 10 years. TJ came out to the house, listened to what we would like, made suggestions that would make our job look and perform better. When they arrived on site to complete the install, they were on time, professional and worked quickly! They were able to install almost 20 recessed light, 3 bath fans, multiple dimmers and smart switches, as well as some outdoor outlets all in one day! Everything looks and works perfectly!

    Recently had some electrical work done by New London Electric at the house. Anthony and Chris came out for what they thought were a few items like installing new overhead lights in gym area, adding a circuit breaker along with some new outlets and changing a few switches, outlets and face plates. It took several days but they changed out every switch, outlet and face plate in the entire house and added dimmers also. My hat is off to Anthony, the previous electricians kinda wired stuff backwards so he and Chris corrected all of it. Both of these guys were super friendly, highly knowledgeable, 1000% respectful while working in and around my house. Thank you, New London Electric.

    I had New London Electric complete a variety of services in my previous and current home. Services included wiring a basement, upgrading panel, installing ground wires, installing under cabinet lighting, recessed lighting and most recently upgrading the recessed lights in my two story living room with LEDs.     I called New London Electric after a neighbor recommended them and they were great. They were able to get an electrician out to our home, during a power outage, to get our generator panel fixed so we could hook our generator up. Will worked quickly and fixed what was an out of date box for us that allowed us to have some power to run our appliances. He was a life saver! He also made sure I knew how to hook everything up, he doubled checked his work and overall went above and beyond during his service visit to our home. I highly recommend New London Electric! I have already referred a few neighbors to them!!!
