    Our water heater started leaking the Friday before Thanksgiving. Fortunately Dewolfe Plumbing came out Monday morning and was able to acquire a new quality unit and install it that day. Rich and crew did excellent job and explained what they were doing and why. The guys did not leave until our hot water was restored and we were very appreciative. Holiday disaster avoided.

    Logan R. Was absolutely great! He quickly assessed and resolved a gas leak on a water heater at our home and answered several questions I had related to the work he was doing (plus some others as well!). He was polite and verified the completion of work with me so I could see it was fixed. I would highly recommend him and will request him in the future!

    I had DeWolfe install a new propane boiler at my home in October, and unfortunately, the experience started off quite rocky. On installation day, they arrived with the wrong parts, which meant they could only work for half a day. The following day, they initially showed up early in the morning but quickly left and didnā€™t return until lunchtime. The trench they dug for the propane lines was poorly managed; they didnā€™t fully cover the hole and left their tools behind. Despite being told the site would be cleaned up, we ended up having to do it ourselves. When it came time for the final hookup, they failed to open the release valve on the expansion tank, causing our heat to shut off repeatedly.About a month after installation, the condensation pump started leaking, leaving water on the floor and up the drywall. Their technician discovered that a piece of cardboard had been left in the pump during installation, causing the valve to malfunction.Since then, weā€™ve been working with one of their technicians, G, and I have to say that he has been incredibly helpful. His expertise and willingness to help have really turned things around, and I now feel much more confident in DeWolfeā€™s service.While the initial experience was frustrating, Gā€™s involvement has led to a much more positive experience. Based on my improved interactions with their team, I would now give them 4 stars.

    I called DeWolf because I suspected that I had a gas leak, but I wasnā€™t sure. I just moved into my home and I really didnā€™t know if the smell was normal. The Telephone Representative (I think her name was Kelly) was very nice and professional. She eased my mind. Then within 30 minutes Jamie Powers rang my doorbell. Jamie is very professional, thoroughly knowledgeable when it comes to gas appliances and absolutely the most friendly technician that has ever come to my home. Jamie actually isnā€™t a Technician. Jamie is a Plumbing Specialist/Project Manager. The telephone Representative called Jamie because all the other technicians were busy. I really appreciate everyone going the extra mile for me. In addition to my stove having a gas leak I had a gas fireplace that I couldnā€™t get it to work. Jamie knew exactly what was wrong with the fireplace. He explained exactly what he was doing as he fixed it. I feel so much better knowing the fireplace does not have a gas leak and works perfectly. The stove did have a gas leak which Jamie identified within minutes. Now I need a technician to fix it. However the leak is small and I can still live in the house until itā€™s repaired. Shortly after Jamie left he sent me an estimate for the work that needs to be done. The estimate was under what I thought I was going to have to pay. Itā€™s very fair. My experience with DeWolf has been 5 star and I will continue to use them. Hopefully all the technicians are as thorough and intelligent as Jamie! Thank you DeWolf and Jamie for a job well done.

    Gotta love a company that shows up on time and if running late, lets you know. Great communication, clean (they take their boots off or wear booties), professional and local.Dewolfe showed up right on time, dug up the sewer line, repaired the problem, packed it with sand, compacted as the back filled (6 foot x 12 foot hole), removed the many large rocks and large bush. They came back and spread loam, grass seed and fertilizer.Excellent people, special shout out to Yo-man, Kenny and Jared, you guys are the best!

    Quickly replied to an overnight call. The owner FaceTimed with us to troubleshoot and provide reassurance. Technicians promptly arrived first thing the next morning. Everyone was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable; especially helpful when we otherwise didnā€™t know what to do. Would definitely recommend!

    We recently hired DeWolfe Plumbing for the 2nd time this year, and I couldnā€™t be happier with their service.First, Josh and Jamie came out to diagnose a problem with our plumbing. They were very professional and explained the issue in detail. Then, Jamie quickly (and cost-effectively) ordered the parts for the job while keeping in touch with potential options.A few days later, Sully and Chuck came to install a new pump, and they were outstanding. They were efficient, ensured everything was working perfectly before they left, offered a few tips for maintaining the system to avoid future issues, and kept things clean while working (even in the rain).Not only were all the guys involved on-site skilled and professional, but their office team was excellent with scheduling and staying in touch. So far, everyone Ive interacted with seems genuinely friendly and easy to talk to.Also, I want to give a shout-out to Omar! He (along with Sully) did a fantastic job earlier this year on a separate project.Thank you, DeWolfe, you nailed it again!

    De Wolfe installed a new boiler in the spring, and the plumbers and communication have been great. They have been attentive in following up since then, and always respond to my calls or emails. This week, one of the plumbers, Omar, came and did such a fantastic job going through my house (which is old) and adjusting all the radiators to reduce the build up in air and resulting noise. He also explained everything to me in such a patient and knowledgeable way. He checked the boiler and showed me where the shut offs for the hot water heater, boiler and water main were in the basement. He put batteries in the thermostat and checked that also. He was professional, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. De Wolfe have been dependable and helpful to me and I highly recommend them.

    Excellent work. My shower stopped working. The day I called DeWolfe, they sent out a plumber within a couple hours. They fixed it. Later, I realized it was dripping. They sent someone else out to swap the part right away and not charge. It works perfectly. Their customer service and quality of work is outstanding.

    The technician came right on time, and communicated with myself and my mother, who is having to work done at her mobile home. He not only worked quickly and professionally, but kept me informed of everything that was going on at my motherā€™s home.     Ryan Brooks was great in setting us up with my new heat pump. Ryan explained everything perfectly, he even went above and beyond to make sure the Mass save paperwork was filled out correctly. The install went well and what a clean job it was. The 2 service techs were very respectful and made sure I was pleased. I couldnt even tell they were here. Time will tell how their service department is if or when they are needed ever. I plan on getting the service plan.

    Omar and the team did an incredible job removing the old oil tank and furnace and installing a new propane furnace. The location was in a difficult crawlspace with a low ceiling but they were able to get everything done in an absolutely professional manner and exactly on the schedule they they promised.     Update 10JUL24: Our annual AC cleaning was today, the tech was very thorough and professional and explained all of the activities he was doing and what he was testing and what the results meant. A+Today (6NOV23), after a week with no heat in my upstairs and prior visits from other companies, my upstairs heat issue was diagnosed and fixed within a couple hours. The techs were very polite, professional, courteous and knowledgeable.DeWolfe also installed an exterior gas line for me last year (2022) and their service is far above the competition.

    I have known this company for years and use exclusively they are fantastic. There isnt another plumbing company that I would go to. I would wait if I had to for them but I hardly ever have to wait because theyre always very responsive. Depending on how urgent your needs are, always give quotes that are modest and explainable and I trust explicitly to do what has to be done and to tell me what I could do myself then they dont have to do it and I can save some money. They really are terrific

    Omar came out to replace a pressure valve that another contractor said the city would have to do. I called the city and they said since it was inside they canā€™t do it.     Brian and Chuck at DeWolfe came out to diagnose an issue with Liberty Pump and were able to identify it needed replacement. Dan quickly sourced a new one and had it overnighted. Rachel and Callie in the office were very helpful and informative in scheduling and coordination. Brian and Chuck arrived back the next morning early and within 2.5 hours had pulled the old installed the new and tested it to work perfectly again. Contracting, they were fast with next day service, and judging by the person who came to help me, they take pride in who works for them. The person I was fortunate enough to meet was a young man named Omar Alnajjar. He was very polite and very well mannered and very knowledgeable of his work. He was very Quick and thorough with his work right down to vacuuming and cleaning the floor. He was also willing to take the time to explain to me how to take care of my water heater and how to operate it. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a young man so knowledgeable and passionate about his job. You donā€™t see that in young people anymore. I glad I had the chance to meet him.     Our job included installation of Mitsubishi mini split duct air handler heat pump technology (no duct work in the home prior).We could not have been happier with our experience with DeWolfe. We had an entire HVAC system and heat pump installed, which was a very large job. The team at DeWolfe worked diligently to finish most of the project in just two weeks. All of the workers were polite and friendly, which was important when having strangers in your home. First time this happened back in January, I called was hours after they were a no show, and I was told ā€œwe had to cancel your appointment due to an emergency.ā€ I can certainly rally behind anyone with an emergency, but what is a big fail is the fact that I had to call many hours later to find out. Not one person reached out to let me know. It was very poor communication, and I expected that it likely wouldnā€™t happen again.Then today (4/22/2024), it was 30 minutes past, and based on the first no call no show, I decided to check in to see if the guys were on their way. It was another ā€œsorry, we had to cancel your appointment today.ā€ I asked if someone was going to reach out and tell me this, because I have to take time off in order to be home for them. This cancellation was due to the cold today, which I can understand. But why arenā€™t you calling your customers? This is the second time this has happened since I signed up for a maintenance agreement just this past January. And Iā€™m having second thoughts on whether I should be reaching out to a different contractor.I wanted Dewolfe because they did such a good job at fixing a plumbing issue that had been plaguing us for a couple of years. Now Iā€™m not as sure. If this occurs a 3rd time within the year I signed up, Iā€™ll be done with them, and Iā€™ll find another company that actually communicates.And thatā€™s hard to admit since the guys they have sent have been stellar. But my time shouldnā€™t be wasted like this.     We have used DeWolfe Contacting two times so far. We have a Rinnai boiler and a tankless hot water heater. The first experience with DeWolf was to perform a general service on the boiler and replace a couple of leaking valves. That went very well. So when we had a problem with the boiler in the fall of 2023 and no heat I called DeWolf again. Technician Izak C. was promptly dispatched to work on the problem. The error code on the boiler display did not directly identify problem but had quite a few possibilities, low fuel, combustion problem, etc. Izak quickly reached out to Rinnai and engaged with one of their technicians. Long story short they headed him down the wrong path having him order a ($200 I think) part that was not needed and almost convincing him to perform an extensive ($$) service on the unit.After a couple of days with no heat Izak did his own trouble shooting and determined it was a clogged condensation drain cause by dead moths that must have accumulated over the warm season of the boiler not being used.It was an expensive OJT for us but a valuable tool for Izak, thanks to Izak for sticking with this until we had heat again.Thanks,Mark

    I called De Wolfe for a non-flushing toilet. Service person G. arrived at my home within two hours and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. He explained that toilets that use a low volume of water are not necessarily the most efficient flushers, and there is sometimes a problem with blockages. He was able to quickly remove the blockage and fix the system. G. was polite, respectful and professional. I found the service charge to be quite reasonable as well. All around an excellent experience!

    I used DeWolfe to fix a leak with my mini split. They were easy to reach and quickly scheduled my appointment. Though my appointment needed to be rescheduled, DeWolfe was apologetic and quickly rescheduled. When they arrived, both employees introduced themselves and were friendly and communicative. This company has taken care of all the plumbing needs in my house for forty years, including installing a whole new full bath and rescuing us from a catastrophic sewer line fail.     They removed the old shower stall and replaced it with a tub/shower combination. Also replaced sink faucet, removed and replaced lighting fixtures. The walls were refinished and painted. Basically a new master bath. We were very pleased with the service we received and the quality of the workmanship.
