I reached out to 3 different companies for a generator. All of them were slow to respond, flaky, showed up late for the quotes, not clear on the process, and 30% more expensive. The new photo I am including is from today, September 10, 2024.***Review as of September 2024:Everyone I’ve ever been in contact with from The Gen King has always been polite, professional, and friendly.We had our generator installed a few years ago (incorrectly by a different company before we knew The Gen King existed) and last year when it had a major malfunction, The Gen King crew came to our rescue!We signed up with a yearly maintenance plan with them and have never been happier! We’ve had the most experience with Chase who was just out here today for our yearly routine maintenance.Chase is excellent and I hope someone gets him a present for being so awesome! He is courteous and thorough. He cleaned our generator so well that it honestly looks brand new again and is probably the nicest looking thing we own! I had neglected it by utilizing it as a potting bench for plant projects all year and now it is shiny and new again!Thank you Chase and thank you to all of The Gen King crew! Adding to all the glowing reviews of Gen King. We worked with them to add a redundant power source to our off-grid solar system. We had a few challenges getting the generator and solar linked mostly due to issues with the solar system programming. Declan and Shannon patiently worked through all of our challenges which required multiple visits and they spent time educating us about our system. The customer service was above and beyond what was expected and we are appreciative. Thanks Gen King for quality install.

OMG!! What service! Tried several “authorized” Generac service agents near us and FINALLy found The Gen King! Shannon came out first and was awesome. Then young Chase came out and took care of our generator and also my father in laws. Great experience to the point we both purchased the yearly service contract. Also, Sarah in the office is awesome. Im very impressed with the service I received from TheGenKing today. From start to finish the team has been very communicative and efficient.I was due for a schedule A maintenance on my 22kw. I used the Generac app to locate a dealer and within 5 minutes I received a call back. This already exceeded the standard for a lot of the businesses in the area.The customer service agent, Sarah, was very helpful and provided all the information on service agreements as well as extended warranties. There was no pressure and all my questions were answered in a timely manner.The service technician, Chase, was top notch as well. He communicated his arrival time the night before, and, prior to his arrival in the morning. He was dressed professionally and was very friendly and knowledgeable.The service performed exceeded my expectations. He noted any potential issues and explained the actions taken. I had questions about aftermarket warming kits and he obtained the answer prior to departing the job site.The final extra mile I noted was when I went out to check on the work, Chase was scrubbing the entire generator down. He then waxed it. It looks almost brand new now!Yes, you can do your own service; I had considered it myself, but honestly, the price of the service contract was so cheap in comparison to the value of service it leveraged it was a no-brainer to let the Gen King handle it.A+ Gen King. You have a new repeat customer.

Installed a Generac 22KW generator in June 2021. Had several problems with manufacturing and had very little luck with Generac (there are probably humans working there somewhere but I couldn’t find them) so I just worked through the issues myself to get the generator working. After two years I wanted to get the generator serviced. Based upon coworkers experiences, I dreaded calling an electrical contractor to service the generator. I had run into someone who worked for Alpha Electric (TheGenKing) and had gotten a business card. I gave them a call and appointment was set up for the following week. Chase called me and told me what time he would be there and he arrived right on time . He went to work and performed a full service on the generator (oil, oil filter, air filter, valve adjustment, replaced a battery cable, cleaning and load test). Chase even waxed the exterior! Looks better than the day I installed it. I’m not a fan of service agreements, but based on this experience, I happily signed one. I called two of my friends who have generators before Chase got out of the driveway to recommend them. They are monitoring the generator for any issues. If you’ve got a Generac don’t hesitate to give them a call.

I HAD THE GEN KING PUT MY 18 KW GENERAC IN ABOUT 2 1/2 YRS. AGO. WE HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW HOME BECAUSE THE FLOOD. ONCE I SPOKE TO KEITH GOFF & GOT THE ESTIMATE, I WENT AHEAD WITH THE ORDER FOR THE INSTALL, WHEN IT BECAME TIME FOR THEM TO COME OUT AND INSTALL IT, THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, FROM THE TIME KEITH CAME AND LOOKED OVER EVERYTHING TO SEE WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO DO THE INSTALL, TO THE 2 FELLOWS WHO CAME AD DUD THE INSTALL, FROM TOP TO BOTTOM THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING !!! THEY HAD A FEW HICCUPS DURING THE INSTALL, BUT THEY NEVER LET IT SLOW THEM DOWN. THEY SAID EACH JOB IS DIFFERENT, NEVER THE SAME. THEY WERE HERE UNTIL ABOUT 7:00 THAT EVENING AND THEY GOT IT HOOKED UP. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THESE 2 GUYS, AND I WISH I COULD REMEMBER THEIR NAMES, I HAVE HAD 2 SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PREFORMED ON IT BY CHASE, AND I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT HIM ALSO. Alpha Electrical services my GENERAC annually which also provides a sense of well being. The technicians text before they arrive in a company van for the appointment and are dressed in company apparel. They have been polite and courteous and professional in all my dealings with Alpha Electrical Contractor.

I had an issue back in August when we had a power flicker because of a thunderstorm and we lost power even with the generator on. I called Keith directly and he was at a ball game I think. Anyway he talked me through resetting a faulty part so that we got our power back on. My wife was in the middle of getting ready so we could attend my nephews first college football game of the season (she needed power for flat iron and blow dryer) so he literally saved the day with her and we made it to the game just in time for the opening kick off! First thing Monday morning he had a technician out changing out the faulty part to prevent this happening again.
