    Mike did a great job on the home inspection I hired him for. His work is extremely thorough, detailed, and very useful in making such a big purchase decision. Mike is very honest about the condition of the home and what he found during the inspection. Its also great that he gives you the option to tag along during his inspection. This gave me a better understanding of what he was looking for, why his findings were important, and it allowed me to have an upfront view of any areas of concern with the home. Mikes inspection saved me from buying a HUGE money trap, I would recommend him to anyone!

    Mike was wonderful to work with! I will recommend him to anyone I know as a home inspector! The inspection process with him was educational, relaxing, and extremely detailed. He made sure to inspect even the smallest nooks and crannies of the house to provide as much information about the house as possible. The way he went through the information was understandable with my limited house knowledge, and he provided reasonable solutions to resolve issues that were discovered. He went out of his way to work around my limited timelines, and was very easy to get in contact with.

What could easily be one of the most stressful processes in buying a home was done with ease and left us with complete peace-of-mind. As newer homeowners with limited knowledge it was important that we found a credible inspector to make up for what we lacked - and we found that and much more in Mike! You can be sure no stone will be left unturned and not only are you left feeling as though you have a firm grasp on your future investment, he really makes your inspection enjoyable and an educational process that allows you to get to know your future home, beneficial improvements and energy efficient changes that could be made, things to watch, consider and budget for in the future and so much more!     Mike is awesome! Highly recommended! Very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Along with giving you a very thorough report (including a bunch of videos and pictures) at the end of the inspection, he is open to answering questions during the entire inspection process. Post inspection he gave me a bunch of pointers on things that could be fixed, how they could be changed or fixed and what should be included in general yearly maintenance on our future home.

    Stop reading reviews and just hire Mike. Hes knowledgeable, informative and easy to work with. You wont find anyone better to be on your side during the biggest purchase of your life. I was impressed with how thorough he was finding issues and that he took the time to give practical advice regarding stuff to keep an eye on.     Mike with Inspect It Right Home Inspections is personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We started with a pre-purchase inspection (which was very thorough) and ended with a home energy audit. It was amazing to be able to see exactly where the energy inefficiencies were in our home. Mike followed up the inspections by providing detailed reports, a variety of resources and realistic recommendations to make improvements. He also identified the Focus On Energy savings/rebates that we could use to offset some of the costs of making various improvements.     In my 9 years of practicing real estate in Wausau WI, it was important that my buyers would have the best Home Inspector available when purchasing a home. I always like to recommend, honest, professional people and man was I impressed with Michael Carson. Michael performs a thorough inspection, collects data, analyzes findings and provides expert recommendations. He walks through the entire home explaining all his findings and takes the time to point out all the defects to the buyers. Weather a defect is major or minor it doesn’t matter. He explains preventive maintenance and provides insight on hiring a professional contractors to have them look into suspicious findings. At the end of the inspection Michael provides them with the link or cd to review their report. The report consist of areas of inspection with photos ,video clips and diagnostic information. He uses drones for inspecting high level roofs, infrared scanners for checking air leaks and other insulation issues, meters for measuring dampness, etc etc. These are just some of the tools he uses which produce a reliable report. Beware inspectors with a printout check list, they take no video or photos. Mike is the real deal and he has been in business for a very long time due to his outstanding service. My buyers always walk away feeling well informed on the condition of the home and if there are items to be negotiate on, they are armed with reliable data. To be honest, I expected he would talk to me for a bit and give me an idea or two. But instead he talked to me at length and also fit us in his schedule to come over that day and take a look.     Extremely thorough inspection. Mike found a ton of tiny little things that I dont think most inspectors would have even looked for. My buddy who was buying a house at the same time also used him and we both were very impressed. If you are buying a house, hire Mike.     Mike made it very easy for me to understand all the ins and outs of the energy audit program and I literally made $1,200 back from the program in money I would have spent anyway doing the same upgrades that I would have done even if the program didnt exist....the only difference was that I was finding parameters that were MORE beneficial to my home and my long term utility expenditures so the money spent on this program certainly paid for itself and more. Even when you might feel a bit unwilling to spend the money for this service I can assure you the benefits and the payback are far more than you would expect.I also have used Mike to perform an inspection on an investment property that I was sure I was going to buy......glad I did NOT buy it without having this inspection. He found the underlying problems that would have cost me thousands and would have had me holding this property for approximatly 31 years before there would have been any payout after collecting rent and ripping my hair out along the way. Lesson learned, inspectors WILL find the problems that will put you out of a business in a hurry!

    Very thorough and saved us thousands because they found the fireplace in the home had major safety issues and was not to code. The findings were verified by a professiona fireplace inspector. They were right on. We are very thankful we used this company. There was a good list of additional things that we had fixed from their findings. I totally recommend this company and would use again.
