    Had Scott help us out when a storm blew our gutter half off. It ended up bending right in the middle and so we needed the whole thing replaced. He and his crew were amazing! Fast service and we were able to get scheduled within a week of our gutter falling off. Most places wanted to push us out 3-4 weeks! Great prices and quality work. Definitely plan on using this company for future services.

    Scott and his crew were amazing to work with. Was always available and easy to contact with questions and updates.After talking with several companies initially after some storm damage, it was clear that Scott really knew the insurance process and stayed on top of things, making sure deadlines were always met.The new roof and replaced gutters look amazing. They were all very professional and took great pains to leave no trace during and after job completion.

    Scott Hintz is a pro! He knows his business very well and is extremely professional and responsive and their work is top notch. We had Scott do a previous small job for us and decided we wanted him to replace our roof, skylights, gutters, downspouts and gutter guards when we were hit with very large hail on 6/25/2023 in Waterloo. Scott came quickly to look at our roof and found a lot of hail damage, we called our insurance company and we got our adjuster quickly and then we received our check. We were shocked at how fast Scott’s team got here to get our work done. It is complete now and it looks great! We so appreciated all his knowledge with us so that we could make the right choices for our roof, skylights and gutter guards. Scott’s team was polite, friendly, tidy, and did great work! It’s so nice to have a contractor leave with everything looking so clean and tidy and exactly like it was when they arrived. They took care with our landscaping, flowers and home to avoid any damage.It’s refreshing to work with a team so competent!We highly recommend them!

    Like everyone else has said Scott does a phenomenal job. Recent homeowner with possible hail damage, Scott came out explained everything and broke down the whole process. Worked with my insurance and was here to address any question or concern I had. Would recommend him and his team for any job.

    Very happy working with Scott and Advanced Building & Design! Our home received minor damage from the recent severe storms (lifted/curled shingles) and we were worried we would get hit with additional water damage from another set of storm. Scott came recommended and he did not disappoint. Within a day of calling our roof was fixed, well ahead of the next storm! He is extremely responsive, highly professional, very knowledgeable and willing to share his insights, and completely reasonable on pricing. I definitely recommend using Advanced Building & Design and looking forward to working with them again!

    A severe storm rolled through late last week and blew a few shingles off the roof. With another storm rolling through in a couple of days and no shingles on the roof, I was worried about further water damage. I emailed Advanced Building & Design on a Sunday morning and three hours later, Scott responded and was willing to come and replace the missing shingles. Scott is very professional, knowledgeable, did great work, and provided a very good price. He will be the first and only person I call for future work and I highly recommend him and his team. Scott, thank you so much for coming out on a Sunday and repairing the roof before the next wave of storms roll through tomorrow night!

    If your looking for a new roof, home remodel etc. We would recommend Advance Building & Design. We hired Scott Hintz and his team to put a new roof and seamless gutters on our home. They had to tear off the old roof and install new shingles, vents and gutters. Our home was completely protected during this process. They cleaned up everything all the way around our home and left no mess, our neighbors even commented on what a great job they did. We were impressed with his efficiency and detail.     I had my shingles replaced and they look great! I have a hard roof to do with lots of peaks and valleys. Every one was done perfectly. We get complements on the roof from neighbors and friends and family that come over. The shingles are multicolored and beautiful, thank you for your help in picking out the perfect shingles. The work was done well and did not take long. The crew showed up when expected in the morning and worked all day, the service was great. Thank you Scott Hintz!

    We had a leak in our roof and had Scott come out to take a look. We had hail damage and didn’t even realize it! He took pictures and got us a quote within a couple of days. We submitted to insurance and because of his great work in preparing the quote our claim was instantly approved! He was great with communication and responsiveness! The work was done well! The roofers did a great job cleaning up and not leaving a mess. The gutter installation was very smooth and went great! We are very happy with everything that Scott at Advanced Building and Design did for us! We will be repeat customers for sure and Will highly recommend them to anyone we know needing work done!

    Scott answered the first time I called and came out the very next day to take a look at some moisture happening on the walls due to the fluctuating temperatures. He inspected the roof and discovered an issue with the backing. He assured me the issue could wait to be fixed until next winter and did not charge me for his time. He was very nice and quick. Very helpful for a first time home owner.
