    I needed a new electrician since I’m new to Waterford .I gave Calkins Electric a call & spoke with Chris because I was having ongoing issues with the wires of my outdoor camera.He was able to quote me a great price for the visit, kept in contact with me by text and was actually here within a few hours,(not days later)and he was able to fix the problem pretty quickly.He was pleasant, knowledgeable and was here when he said he’d be here.All those things are important to me!! If those things are important to you, give them a call.Calkins Electric will be my electrician for all my electrical needs going forward.

    The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were very professional and friendly. We are happy with the work. They were done early. Just one thing, though. There was a can of Scotchkote adhesive left in the driveway that I ran over with my tire. No damage to the tire but there was a mess to clean up. Other than that, no complaints.

    I will go nowhere else!!I had an electrical emergency in my home that required immediate attention and called Chris. He was there right away and did excellent work.When I filed a claim with my insurance company he also handled it immediately and professionally.Everything far exceeded my expectations.He has the best team in business!Again, I will go nowhere else!

    Calkins Electric was able to fit me in the same week I called for a non-urgent circuit upgrade. Aimee did good and efficient work. Communication with the Calkins dispatcher was a bit rough day of the service trying to work out timing, but the job got done in the end. Would use Calkins again.

    I called to get two outlets installed. I filled out the online request and they were here the following afternoon. They gave me my options and told me what the fastest and cheapest way was, while still doing it all properly. They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. They ran into some difficulty on one outlet but figured out a way to still make it all work out.

    Caulkins Electric is one of the most professional electrical contractors out there. They are quick to respond in an emergency; and even on a holiday weekend. They are polite, respectful, thorough and very knowledgeable. I have some real problems in the home I purchased and they are assisting me in unwinding a big mess. They explain everything they are doing and pay attention to detail. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an electrician. You will not be disappointed.

    Amazing service. I contacted Chris on a Saturday night and he immediately answered, accurately assessed the situation, and promptly responded to my house on Monday morning.     I had my family visiting. 7 members including three children, sleeping on three levels. I hadn’t seen them in a year. One night and several times after, I smelled a burning smell. Total panic. Chris came three days in a row. He found the problem, repaired outlets and installed a full house fire/carbon monoxide system. Best money I’ve spent in a long time. I enjoyed the rest of the visit with my anxiety level at an all time low.

    A couple months ago Calkins installed a generator hook up for us. They also wired an Italian made chimney fan which required them to work at the very peak of my 2 1/2 story house. First time I ever used them. The experience was GREAT. Quick response time. The estimate was spot on. This company is absolutely dependable. An even more awesome example of Calkins service is... today (months later on the weekend) I texted Chris a general question about basic electrical stuff and he answered within 15 minutes!
