    We recently had a new roof and three decks around our house upgraded by Couto. All projects went smoothly and we are very pleased with the outcome. Couto had Michael Cabral visit us after completion to do some filming of our roof and decks as well as an interview. Michael was easy to work with and the final versions of the still shots and videos were very well done. We highly recommend both Couto Construction as well as Michael Cabral for any professional video and drone production work.

    Couto Construction is awesome. They are top notch professionals. Justin and his team go above and beyond. From providing suggestions to performing the work, Justin excels. My house was built in 1887 and we wanted to keep the character of the original house. Justinā€™s suggestions and work were exceptional. When completed the work looked better then the original structure and still kept the character and charm of the property. Our salesman Tiler was an absolute pleasure to work with as well. Cameron and the staff in the office are also always so polite and professional. You couldnā€™t ask for a better group of professionals to work with. I would highly recommend Couto Construction.

    Couto Construction replaced some shingles and tightened and cleaned my gutters. The technician, Frank, explained everything that was done and had pictures that showed the areas where the work was performed. The price was reasonable. If any work, as far as widows or doors are needed I will definitely consider Couto Construction to do the job.

    Five stars for superior customer service. I sought four estimates for gutter replacement. Couto Construction was the only business that responded. A fee days after contacting Couto Construction, Tyler and his colleague arrived at my home on time, explained what the job would entail, shared information about the companyā€™s history and offered very favorable payment options. Tyler encouraged me to contact previous customers for references. Two weeks later, Marco and Marcelo arrived at my home on time, completed the job, cleaned up afterwards, and kept me informed throughout the process. These men are professionals. I highly recommend Couto Construction.

    In serious need of a new roof and reconstruction of a second-floor porch, I contacted Couto Construction after reading reviews and comparing notes on the track records of more that a dozen companies. My home is almost 130 years old so the job presented some challenging roof angles; complete re-building of an upper porch that was sagging and channeling water runoff to the first-floor porch (ruining the ceiling above it in the process); installation of gutters and downspouts; soffit and fascia repairs; and a new roof for a detached two-car garage.After a few winter-related delays, the project wrapped up in March and the verdict was in - my choice of company for the undertaking was the right one.From the initial conversations with Jason Arruda about the projectā€™s scope and complexity, through the detailed and professional on-the-job skills displayed daily by Mike and Eli - craftsmen I would gladly work with again - Couto Construction turned in a reassuring and reliable performance.Along the way, Josue Correa, project manager, and office staff kept in touch via phone calls and through the companyā€™s helpful use of the ā€œGroupMeā€ social networking app. Communication was simple and reassuring - a significant plus when dealing with all parties involved in home improvement efforts.Chris and Fernando were helpful additions to the carpentry and fitting effort, and the well-drilled roofing team - working long hours - turned in a fine performance, including a thorough cleanup when their part of the project was finished.So, yes, I recommend Couto Construction without reservation. After all, an old-fashioned happy ending is the best way to conclude any home rehab project.

    Couldnā€™t find anyone to help me seal a water leak in my toilet vent pipe. Thankfully Couto Construction was able to fix it with their Roof Tune-Up program. In addition to sealing the pipe vent, my project manager Frank also inspected the roof for any other problems. Frank also replaced/repaired some flashing including sealing other potential leak areas. Very happy with this service. NO MORE LEAKS!!!

    Frank just left after completing a Roof Tune Up and did a great job. My roof is extremely old and needs replacement in the near future but that did not deter Frank. He replaced several shingles and fastened any loose items as well as sealed gaps around my chimney and sewer vent. Frank also cleaned out my gutters and reattached a sagging section back to the house. As a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income I could not ask for a better price for the amount of work he did and he did it in the rain.

    Corey S. came out to our house to assess a leak in the roof. He was very helpful and friendly, showing us video of our roof condition so we could see for ourselves. Once we decided on what needed to be done, Breno and Daniel came out about a month later to complete the project. They were also very friendly and professional, and also sent me pictures of the work. They made sure to thoroughly clean up around the yard afterward. After a few heavy rain storms we havent had another leak. I paid a deposit and the rest of the cost after the work was done, which was nice considering bad experiences with other construction companies in the past. I would definitely hire Couto Construction again

    We replaced a cedar shingle roof with high end Corning asphalt on a house with the Atlantic Ocean only 250 feet away on one side and Buzzards Bay 500 feet away on the other. 20mph winds are an almost daily occurrence, and 30+ with horizontal rain is not unusual. The roof is roughly 50 squares over 22 facets with complex flashing requirements and skylights. We were nervous about getting the job done expeditiously as well as expertly in such a harsh environment.The Cotou team understood the challenges and didnā€™t flinch. They very quickly stripped nearly half the house and re-roofed those sections in just two days. Weather forced them to stop until the following week, but they returned and finished in only three more days. And it looks fantastic despite switching from cedar to asphalt. A few old sneaky stainless steel nails escaped collection (magnets are useless on high grade stainless), but there were tens of thousands that were never seen again. I would not hesitate to hire Cotou again or recommend them to neighbors and friends.

    Contractor installing a new shower thought I had a leak and said I needed to contact a roofer. I saw the $199 tune up and made an appointment. Even though I determined that there wasnt a leak I kept the appointment.Frank is very professional and honest. He corrected a few minor items and mentioned that my chimney could use some work at some point. But no real sales pitch other than saying when I am ready they do that kind of work.. Even reattached a couple of downspouts for me. When I have a need I will be calling Frank at Coutu construction.

    Justin from Couto Construction was great. Working with cool-worker Kevin they did a beautiful job reworking my roof and gutters. Their work was clean and that goes for cleaning up afterwards. Justin let me know what they were doing at each stage of work. That was much needed and gave me a level of comfort that they k ew what they were doing and followed through. Having a 160 year old home in Providence requires special care not only what I need to do but what other professionals need to show when caring for a home of this age.

    We had a bay window removed and a new window installed in itā€™s place through Couto Construction. We were impressed with how efficient their work was, taking a day to remove the bay window and install a new one. They had to come back for part of a second day to finish sealing and cosmetic work.     Just had a roof tune-up with Couto Construction. I knew I had lost at least one shingle during one of the winter storms with high winds. Frank Dullea came and checked out my entire roof.     Looking for a reliable company for repairs? This is certainly the company for you. I had a few shingles fall off my roof due to weather damage that needed to be replaced on my 1 story home. Prior to contacting Kylie, my appointment agent at Couto, I had a very bad experience with a local company. Her helpful customer service was really appreciated; her empathetic approach to my bad experience with another company, she instantly suggested me their Roof Tune Up program.     Frank Dullea, project manager performed a $199 roof inspection and performed such repairs such as sealing cracks, nail down loose shingles, nailed down the roof vents that became loose, and filling in spaces between the clapboard and the siding. He examined for open seams around the chimney flashing and filled in gaps as needed. I would recommend Frank and his company for the $199 roof repair special. If needed he would have even removed and replaced several shingles at no extra cost, but my shingles were all in good shape, so that was not needed. He will also send you photos of the work completed when done.

    I hired Couto Construction for a roof tune up. We had a leak staining the bedroom ceiling. Frank Dullea was the project manager. He was wonderful! Arrived 10 mins early, very professional, got to work right away. Went up into attic and took many pictures during the process and provided an inspection report to us at the end of the appointment. He inspected the roofs, and found the source of the leak ,fixed it with flashing and sealted the shingles down. During his inspection, he also found the first row of shingles were not properly secured and fixed the problem we didnt even know we had! I highly recommend all home owners to have a tune up. This is a valuable service at an amazingly affordable price point!! Couto Construction is our go to company.
