    We recently moved to Fredonia Mtn in East Tennessee and we knew we wanted a whole house back-up generator due to being remotely located. When I went on the town facebook page and requested references everyone said that Dan Hall was the man to contact. I contacted Dan and have been pleased and impressed with his professionalism, his honesty and his hard work. We met and discussed our needs and that we hoped to get it sooner rather than later - understanding the current supply chain issues. Well, he searched the southeast and located what we needed, installed the generator and 500 gallon propane tank as well as a separate line to the main house for my wifes future gas stove and we are ONLINE and ready to go! He shows up ON TIME and works until the task is complete. Dan was a one man show and everything he did was top quality and it shows. We highly recommend Dan Hall and NYS SitePower.

    It has been over 7 years since install (Aug 2017). NYS SITEPOWER was chosen from several quotes not because they were lowest, but because Dan Hall (who visited site for quotation) impressed me with his breath of knowledge, he was able to answer my questions on everything from gas meter sizing to location placement. The Generator has run reliably for 7+ years with NYS SITEPOWER servicing on a planned schedule. The service tech (Glenn) has been great as well, and the office has stayed in touch, Thanks !

    Awesome service! The power was out at my rental and the generator had failed to come on, so my elderly tenant was without heat during a winter storm. I live 2600 miles away, so it can be difficult dealing with repair issues.I called Dan Hall on a Friday, and he drove 2 hours in stormy weather to get to my house, diagnosed the problem, and got the generator up and running.Its hard to find service like that!

    Dan is the full package!! He is absolutely FANTASTIC! Even before we agreed to Dan doing anything for us, and there was no promise of money, he was already helping us out. He is all about doing the right thing. Dan did exactly what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, how he said he was going to do it, and for the amount he said he was going to do it. If you’ve ever dealt with tradesmen, you’d know this is uncommon. He is a man of his word. I would add to this…he does this in a professional manner and he follows up to make sure you’re satisfied and if there’s anything else he can do to help you. In closing, if you’ve dealt with anyone doing anything, you don’t get ONE of these things, let alone all of these attributes. I would HIGHLY recommend Dan!

    Glenn called me on Saturday to let me know he would be here today, Monday, for semi-annual generator service. MGlenn arrive about 9ish and proceeded to check out the generator and transfer switch, run full system check and oil/filter change. Glenn was safe and efficient checking the system operation and power voltage readings to ensure full power out of transfer switch after return to line power.We have numerous insurance policies but this Cummins generator is the best insurance ever-it works-NYSEG power goes down and in less than 30seconds we are back to full power for house/garage/HVAC/and pool. Checked with me before interrupting power to my house and made sure that I understood what he had done and if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. He also took the time to wipe down the exterior of my generator. He even fixed a loose gas fitting he noticed while hooking up the line for the generator, and painted the entire gas feed after making all of his connections!!! He was also checking with me to ensure I was pleased with the way things were progressing throughout the entire installation.After the electrician made all of the connections, Glen walked me through the entire process of how the system works and how the Smart Management Module flawlessly interacts with my solar array, a safety feature installed to prevent catastrophic injuries and damage in the event of a grid outage. He even cleaned and waxed the generator housing before he left!!!So I say again a heartfelt THANK YOU to you and your incredible team at NYS Sitepower - I look forward to many years of flawless interactions with you. The technician comes here 2x a year for service on the generator and is always friendly and lets us know if there are issues, there havent been any!!Our generator was installed last spring, the installers were excellent. Dave came for our first maintenance a week ago and was very thorough. Michelle is very pleasant and eager to assist in any she can. The generator is very quiet.

    We have had nothing but prompt and efficient service with this system, and from the service provider, and I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Being subject to long, cold, weeks in mid-winter, and even short humid and hot summer weeks is not fun for anybody (or our dog). This company and its employees are to be heartily recommended.Better safe than sorry has always been my motto up here in upstate New York, and NYS Sitepower has kept us happy for about 10 years now.Just yesterday (28 May 2024) we lost power for some reason and the generator kicked in almost immediately and ran for 2 hours allowing me to continue working on a manuscript I had on my computer. Later that day (coincidental to previously scheduled annual maintenance) our annual service provider (also from Sitepower) stopped in to ensure continued functioning.If you live in upstate NY, and considering climatic changes that have, to date, been gentle with us, you cant go wrong with NYS Sitepower.

    Our technician, Glenn, was prompt and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and could answer any of my questions. He even finally fixed an issue we had with our generator shutting itself off immediately upon a manual test start. The Batavia based company that installed it, (had this issue from day 1 upon first post-install manual test) and a large Rochester based home generator service provider, (both companies we used over the last 8 years for our annual service), could never figure the problem out but basically would say well the generator works when needed so just watch it. They didnt have the experience I guess like Glenn did. He went right down his mental check list and found that our propane supply pressure was TWICE what it should be. He adjusted the pressure the unit would see to the factory recommended pressure and the problem was solved. We found our permanent generator service provider! Good thing our annual service that was scheduled in November never happened, (the company never called us to tell us why they didnt show).

    Great service, my generator was brand new from another company in Rochester NY area, but never ran well. Always got error messages, or engine wouldnt kick over at times and had less than 20 hours on it. I heard about NYS SitePower from a friend and switched services to them. Right off the bat they saw a component that other company jury rigged, replaced it under warranty with no charge for labor, and has been running great ever since. Completely satisfied, worth the call if you have any issues.

    We purchased our Home generator from these folks and have it maintained by them using an annual maintenance agreement. They regularly service the machine for a reasonable annual fee and this gives us great piece of mind that it will operate if we have an outage. We are snowbirds, so this is especially good to know that power will get backed up even while we are away. It has been a great experience from initial purchase through many years of ongoing maintenance.

    Just had my generator serviced by NY Sitepower. I was initially concerned about the high cost, but after speaking with Phil the technician, and watching what he did and how he did it, I was put to ease. He was courteous, professional and answered all my questions. Servicing my unit meant taking some of the engine apart - certainly nothing I could do on my own! He even wiped down the inside and outside of the unit. Money well spent for piece of mind and trustworthy professional service. I will do this again.

    We needed their service on New years Day. Yes, I had to pay a minimum four hour charge for service on a holiday, but a tech was at my house within an hour.     I signed up with these folk after a search for a business that could reinstall my power back up system after it had to be moved for some construction. After some ridiculus quotes I found NYS Sitepower. They quoted a fair price and then did a great job on the reinstall upgrading the electrical service to new code requirements. They are also providing yearly maintenance service and I might add the crew is very proffessional and friendly. What more can one ask for!Just had our system tuned up and maintaenance performed for the year 2020. Once again the service was first class. Friendly, on time and finished the task w/o episode. They provide a check list of checks they make and the service rep went over it with me which I really appreciated. I will continue to use these folk for on going mainenance and repair.

    Unusual service from staff members Dave and Michelle. During a power outage while waiting for service, Dave did all he could to troubleshoot possible generator issues over the phone for several minutes never losing patience and explaining things in clear detail and then made sure I knew who to call and when as a further step.     I have used Dan and his crew for a number of projects: install connections for a portable generator, a whole house surge protector and, most recently, an upgrade from portable to Generac natural gas home generator.In each transaction I have had nothing but a great experience, the sales and installation staff are professional, courteous, neat, and responsive to questions. What i like is power needs are their business and only business, it isnt a side project. They know their stuff and wont try toupsell you.
